Reborn As Cursed Alpha's Mate -
Chapter 264: The Happy End
Chapter 264: The Happy End
(Dedicated to all my lovely readers.)
Ranon, Lana, Aiko, Ames and Tara cheered while Siroos looked on in pride at his brother who accepted the axe with shaking hands.
"Bless-o! SIL you raised my status. I never would have imagined—I don’t have words."
He raised the hammer towards the skies and the thunder cackled on it like tiny sparks of blue worms. It frizzled and enveloped the whole of Faris, making his yellowish-orange eyes tinge with blueish-silver of the thunder he was going to master.
"To the new beginnings!" He yelled out with his arm raised which seemed to have been completely engulfed by the cackling electricity.
"To Faris!" Others chorused behind him.
Cassandra picked up the dagger and offered it to Aiko.
"Faris gifted me this when I had my marking ceremony with Siroos. This is the weapon I used to take this unlimited power from my father. Although most of it has been transferred to Faris’s axe, a part of it will always remain with you. I want you to have it."
Aiko wholeheartedly accepted it, throwing herself onto Cassandra and hugging her.
"Thank you! Thank you!"
Both mates now possessed the power of thunder and their reign was going to be just.
The celebrations continued till late into the night as it was one of the most auspicious days in the lives of their pack.
(Four Years Later)
Cassandra lazily sat under their Sensifa Tree which was now laden with golden fruits and stood about 50 feet in length. She peacefully watched while rubbing her pregnant belly.
Siroos played near with all the children.
Twins of Ranon.
Lotus and Razial’s pretty little daughter who just looked like a mini version of Lotus with the same hair and eyes.
Faris and Aiko’s triplets–two boys and one girl.
And their own son whom they had named Zanon.
Siroos was turning into different animals making children roar out with laughter as they chased him around.
And then she saw him turn into the white bunny. The bunt who had been her friend in those hardest times of her life.
She burst out laughing seeing him. Her voice echoed all around the place.
At the back of her mind she had always known it could have been him but he always denied it. It was now confirmed.
Getting to her feet she sauntered towards the bunny and picked him up from his long ear so that his legs and body dangled. She brought him near her face and narrowed her eyes at the sheepish rabbit.
"Don’t you dare turn back," she sternly instructed.
"Maa! Where you taking Bunny papa?" Her sweet son asked. He had the same intelligent golden eyes as Siroos but his hair were mixture of both his parents. His skin tanned to match them. They were yet to witness what powers their son had been born with.
"Bunny needs a word with Maa. Play with Aunty Lotus and Uncle Razial." She bent down and placed a small kiss on her son’s head.
Lotus and Razial joined them as their daughter ran and climbed in her father’s arms.
"Watch the kids, I have some business to attend to." She winked at a grinning Lotus and walked away with the struggling bunny back to her chamber.
Placing him down, she locked the door and turned. Siroos instantly changed back to his human form while Cassandra placed her hands at her waist and tapped her foot on the ground with a raised brow.
"I lied!" Siroos rubbed the back of his head.
"I know, you should be punished..." Cassandra bobbed her head.
"Whatever you need my goddess." Siroos stepped closer and placed his warm hands on her heavily pregnant belly and his lips on her forehead in his gesture of love.
"You will be on baby duty once this one slides out. All night duties will be yours," she evilly informed him. Siroos gulped. Zanon had not been an easy child and night duties were the toughest ones.
"Let’s negotiate, my beautiful mate," Siroos pleaded, weaving his long fingers through her gold-streaked locks.
"Nah! Nah!" Cassandra shook her head and refused completely.
Siroos’s shoulders slumped and he gave in as the rabbit spirit chimed in his head.
’Agree to mate. You grieved her at that time.’
Siroos nodded and murmured.
"Bunny says he will help, we are in."
"Any other spirits you are still hiding?" Cassandra asked and Siroos quickly shook his head, his eyes rapidly changing colours as every spirit made itself visible to her through his eyes. She watched them mesmerised.
"Kiss me then."
Lovingly he took her face in his large hands and pressed his hungry lips onto her petal soft ones, giving her a long passionate kiss that consumed them both.
It held promises that both of them would spend an eternity with each other. No gods had interfered in their lives for the last four years.
(Skyla penned down the last part of the story between Siroos and Cassandra. Taking a long yawn she placed her pen down and laid beside her husband Zyair. Getting lost in his comforting arms. She had her own god in the form of her husband who had never let her down.)
