Reborn As Cursed Alpha's Mate
Chapter 262: Transforming Dusartine

Chapter 262: Transforming Dusartine

Siroos raised the chalice filled with red wine towards his gathered pack in their common area.

"Here is to the new beginnings. To life without curse and the upcoming Bonding ceremonies. Cheers."

The pack roared behind him. Siroos had informed his people and Elders of what had transpired in Axiom and along the journey. His change in status from a mortal to both god of beasts and fire.

They had felt a shift in themselves as if a darkness had been lifted when the curse was broken. A wind seemed to have swept past the whole lands of Dusartine, cleaning it of that condemnation. The whole pack felt lighter and cleansed.

"Cheers!"

Cassandra proudly stood beside her mate and god as she watched her pack with a satisfied smile.

All the sacrifices she made were worth the smiles she could see on the faces of her people.

"Together we will build our lives and will restore this place to as it used to be," she announced taking a sip from her chalice. The crowd hollered their approval behind her.

"Alpha!"

"Nissa!"

***

Everyone gathered near the Oasis, the surrounding area had transformed into a lush green paradise but beyond the landscape was still barren sand.

Cassandra had this determination in her eyes. "Let’s restore it to its former glory."

Lotus placed her hand on her sister’s shoulder. Donning a mulberry-shaded wedding dress she was a vision of pristine beauty and elegance, blending deep, rich tones with a touch of whimsical style.

The gown featured a fitted bodice adorned with intricate embroidery in shimmering threads of silver, forming delicate floral patterns that reflected light. The jewel neckline added a special charm, while sheer, mulberry-tinted tulle sleeves with tiny embroidered vines wrapped her arms gracefully.

The skirt flowed outward in cascading layers with tiny crystals and pearls scattered throughout, catching the light and resembling dewdrops on a twilight garden.

The dress was paired with a delicate, gold-embroidered veil that fell softly over her shoulders, completing the look. It was a gown that evoked a sense of regal beauty and made her appear bold and breathtaking. The attributes which suited Lotus.

Razial couldn’t take his eyes off the woman about to become his bride. He himself donned a long, richly embroidered tunic made from fine velvet, in deep, regal colours including burgundy, sapphire blue, and silver. The tunic fitted his well-built torso, flared slightly at the hem and was adorned with elaborate silver thread work depicting icy patterns to compliment his powers.

Over the tunic, he wore a brocade surcoat— a sleeveless outer garment that extended to his knees, trimmed with fur—around the collar and hem. A finely crafted belt of leather set with precious stones cinched his waist.

His chausses were crafted from silk, tightly fitted and dyed to complement the tunic.

For a finishing touch, he wore a cloak fastened at the shoulder with a jewelled brooch, lined with fur and draped elegantly to symbolise his noble rank. Every element of his attire spoke of dignity, elegance, and the grandeur expected of a man of his station on such an auspicious and important day in his life.

Every member of the pack including Siroos, watched as both sisters combined their powers and let them flow out. Cassandra with her golden hair flowing like threads of sunlight, raised her hands toward the sky, her violet eyes glowing with an inner light. Beside her, Lotus knelt and pressed her palms to the burning sands, her aura serene yet powerful. The power of nature shot out.

Cassandra with a sweeping motion of her arms let a dazzling surge of golden light erupt from her fingertips, spiralling skyward before cascading down like radiant rain. Wherever the light touched, the oppressive heat began to dissipate, replaced by a cool breeze that carried the faint scent of fresh grass.

Lotus closed her eyes, her energy surged, and from beneath her hands, small shoots of green broke through the earth, growing rapidly into blades of grass, wildflowers, and clusters of vines.

The two women worked in harmony, their powers intertwining like threads of a tapestry. Cassandra summoned great clouds that darkened the skies briefly before releasing a gentle rain, its droplets shimmering as they fell. The rain seeped into the dry earth, softening it and giving way to Lotus’s mastery over nature.

With a graceful wave of her hand, trees began to rise from the soil—first saplings, then towering oaks, birches, and fruit-laden orchards that sprouted in a matter of moments. The barren sands transformed into rich, fertile soil, and streams of crystal-clear water began to carve their way through the terrain, weaving between the newly formed groves.

Lotus stood, her eyes alight with joy, and spread her arms wide. The streams swelled into rivulets and then small rivers, their waters teeming with life as fish darted through the currents. She gestured toward the horizon, where orchards of apples, peaches, and cherries blossomed in vibrant hues. Cassandra stepped forward, her golden energy creating rolling meadows dotted with wildflowers of every colour imaginable.

Saffron fields were fully restored.

The once-lifeless desert now pulsed with vitality, the air filled with the rustle of leaves and the distant call of birds that had returned to inhabit the paradise that these lands once used to be.

Together, they stood at the centre of their creation, the desert now unrecognisable—a sanctuary of meadows, lush green fields, flowing streams, and abundant orchards. Cassandra and Lotus exchanged a smile, their shared effort a testament to their bond and the transformative power of hope and life.

Their men embraced them from behind while the whole pack rejoiced and celebrated. Haylia and the Elders had pleased smiles on their faces. Their lands had been restored to their former glory.

"My SIL and Princess Lotus are the biggest blessings for our pack," Faris chimed in while holding Aiko. She was lost in watching the beautiful events that had unfolded.

Her cobalt blue wedding dress radiated grace and had been constructed from luxurious satin–the tailored bodice was adorned with intricate hand-stitched designs in shimmering gold. Flowing, trumpet-shaped sleeves extended elegantly. The lower part flared into voluminous layers, detailed with subtle metallic threads. A delicately adorned belt emphasised her waist.

"It’s heaven. We are going to bond and live in heaven, Faris," she choked out to her mate, trying not to get too emotional.

Faris who had on a white and gold threaded chiton with a gold belt at his waist whole heartedly smiled at his mate and answered.

"Yes, we are."
