Reborn As Cursed Alpha's Mate
Chapter 173: Leave Your Essence On Me

Chapter 173: Leave Your Essence On Me

The relief shot through him like an elixir of comfort and went straight to his slightly erratic heart.

The unspeakable question had been silently killing him, the thought of someone causing her pain was destructive to his existence.

He could only nod at her while taking care of the several bruises on her thighs.

It didn’t mean he hurt her any less for her body was in a tattered state.

Siroos finally forced himself to speak.

"I swear next time we will come face to face with him, I won’t spare him. Do you know him from the past?" Siroos asked, tenderly continuing in his task of balming her thighs and legs.

Cassandra sighed heavily, her eyes burnt as the memories of Kalthian returned in abundance. She had always disliked him but now he was the most hated man for her.

Self-conceited and egocentric were the words which she always used to describe him.

Kalthian had a control fetish, he suffocated her. Hence the reason she never cared for him. She was a free spirit wishing to make her destiny. As Asara, she enjoyed visiting the Earthly Realm, and on every visit, she planted a tree as her gift to Earthly beings. It was on such a visit she had met Alpha Kael.

He was completely different from Kalthian. Carefree like Asara, both of them had clicked from the beginning and became lovers.

Kalthian noticed Asara drifting away day by day and decided to follow her to the Earthly Realm. He discovered her secret lover and, in pangs of jealousy, approached Arkiam.

Hence, setting in motion the chain of events which led to Kael being burnt alive and Asara being locked up without her magic, where she cried and mourned her lover for centuries. Her first tears that had fallen when Kael was killed right before her eyes, germinated the bush of Blood Moon Flower.

It took 500 for her to be reborn and reconnect with him. It was an eternity of gruelling loneliness as her immortality became a curse and every second was like an eternity where she mourned her lover.

Cassandra remembered it all, the pain, the suffering, her desperate cries. But she was done crying.

"He was my betrothed, my father forced him on me. He is the god of fire–Kalthian," she bitterly told him. Siroos’s eyes narrowed and ridges of annoyance erupted on his forehead.

He remembered the Tome, Walan had kept hidden from them. It stated a man with flaming red hair and power of fire came to take Kael away. Siroos now understood who that man was.

It was Kalthian.

"He was the one who took me away from my pack when I was Kael. Is he the one who killed me?" Siroos could understand why Cassandra was reluctant to share that memory with him...he could feel her blocking it away again as he pushed to catch a glimpse but failed.

Pain flashed on Cassandra’s face, she wished to shield him from that soul-shattering memory.

"I don’t want to talk about it," she agonisingly answered. The fire seemed to have been ignited inside her heart, she couldn’t breathe as she kept reliving that moment. Her lips quivered as she silently pleaded with him not to push her.

The bond was flooded with her anxiety and desperation, it slightly panicked Siroos. He picked up her legs and placed them in his lap, gently rubbing them.

"You don’t have to," he apologetically whispered and she exhaled, letting him massage her legs.

His hands slid down to her injured ankles and he observed that the anklet was missing.

Her eyes dipped to her empty ankle and she told him in an aggrieved voice.

"He took my anklet, Siro. I couldn’t stop him. I am sorry." It held such a sentimental value for her.

Siroos was baffled that she was still so concerned by that piece of jewellery even in this state. Picking up her leg he brought the injured ankle near his mouth and slowly licked her as if trying to take away the angst and all the horrifying memories attached to it.

His tongue made sensual licks on the crimson lacerations, every stroke filled Cassandra with relief.

Keeping his eyes glued to her, Siroos slowly kissed away the pain and reassured her.

"I will make you another one and once I find him he will be the one who would be sorry."

A satisfied smile spread on her face as her hand reached out for her mate.

"Kiss me some more..." she wantonly requested. Siroos intertwined his fingers with hers and slowly placed her leg down.

Placing his hands on either side of her head Siroos lowered himself over her, cocooning her with his body without putting any weight on.

His biceps bulged from his weight, veins like wriggling snakes, stood out. The beard that had erupted on his face like wild grass gave him an even rugged look.

His eyes had every colour in the spectrum staring back at her. Every spirit wished to watch their mate.

"Are you sure?" His tender whisper was on her parched lips. She was in a very vulnerable state and he didn’t wish to hurt her even in the slightest.

Cassandra’s hands shifted to his rippling back, the muscles were stoked there as she lowered him on herself. His hardness met her softness and a sense of completeness slid over her.

She slowly whimpered.

"I have never been more sure of anything than I am of wanting you right now. I want you to remove every trace of him with your mouth." And then she smiled like a beautiful morning flower and requested further.

"Leave your scent on me, your essence on me, your saliva on me."

"It will be my pleasure," he mused, intently watching her.

The green balm he had coated over Cassandra’s skin was now plastered to his skin as well but none of them cared.

"You are my goddess, let me worship you the way you deserve."

And then their lips collided like a splash of cold water on a sunny day and their bodies coiled together as Siroos covered every dip, every ridge and every smoothness of her body with his lips and tongue.
