"If I were leading the team, I would have made the same wise decision," another member from the opposing team said, seeming to appreciate the decision made by the Angel Camp.

Even the judges and commentators on stage understood Angel Camp’s choices.

Of course, most of the commentators from the Tan clan mocked and sneered at this power that had once dominated the media headlines for a while.

Seeing their opponents virtually give up, the members of the other power on stage also smiled slightly. After all, it was best not to fight if possible. Their personnel could use their strength for future opponents—knowing that although they claimed to be a mid-level power, in reality, securing ten foundational slots was still challenging.

The only one unhappy among the opposing personnel was the one who had been slated to appear fourth and had previously talked tough to Jinyan. At this point, he knew that if Angel Camp gave up, he might not get a chance to enter the fray. Angel Camp would likely surrender to his side’s lead strong one.

He had been looking forward to thrashing Jia Yan.

"First column members from both sides, please enter the arena!"

The referee was a Mantis Strongman, similar to a mantis, who had reached the Mid-Starry Sky Period. He was not big in stature, yet he was a fast and formidable creature. In the entire Starry Sky, his fame as a referee was renowned. He had even been specially invited by one of the top ten Strong Ones, the Black Bear, to have a talk beforehand.

This was a great honor.

The Four-eyed Monster had no special strategy to resort to; it simply entered the arena.

"Although you guys are surrendering, you should still go through the motions, right? Otherwise, the scene for this first match wouldn’t look good," the opposing monster said as soon as they took the stage.

"Alright," the Four-eyed Monster replied indifferently.

His opponent, also an entity with multiple eyes, looked over, sending a chilling feeling through the spectators.

The difference in strength between the two was slight; there was no reason for the Four-eyed Monster to be afraid.

Boom!

Suddenly, both bodies accelerated!

They then clashed directly in combat.

The arena was a huge space of around ten kilometers, which, although insignificant for the mighty Starry Sky Level Experts as they could move dozens of kilometers in a flash, had its advantages. It allowed the fullest release of a strong one’s combat power while also testing their control abilities. After all, fighting within a ten-kilometer range also required a certain level of finesse.

Their fists and arms collided, and their attacks soon became a series of afterimages. The air was filled with the continuous and intense sounds of clashing.

"So powerful, worthy of a Starry Sky-level confrontation, truly satisfying," the audience in the stands and those in front of media screens exclaimed in excitement!

"Looks like Sky Position Camp has given up, huh? This is just a spar. It’s boring; I thought the power that dared to confront the Dragon Strong would be formidable, but they’re just like this!"

Generally, ordinary creatures couldn’t tell that the contestants on stage weren’t truly fighting earnestly, but the stronger ones knew it instantly and were greatly disappointed.

Without delving into other aspects, just considering the combatants, after a battle that seemed fierce but was in fact pulling punches, the Four-eyed Monster then leaped aside, murmuring, "Your combat power is indeed great, I am not your match."

With those words, the Four-eyed Monster hopped out of the ring.

"What’s happening? Is that a surrender? But it was indeed a spectacular fight, a back-and-forth match that was truly thrilling," said a voice from the uninformed audience on the stands.

However, those in the know just shook their heads in resignation. They could imagine what Angel Camp would do next.

Sure enough, the next one on stage, a pink creature, also fought briefly without sustaining any injuries and then directly surrendered.

The following contestant, a Scaled creature, did the same, fighting for a short while before conceding defeat.

"What’s this? Are they all faking it?! Not a single one is injured. This kind of fight is pointless!"

By now, even the ordinary sentient beings recognized the sham, and dissatisfaction started to grow.

"Be careful in the next match. The opponent might exert a bit of their strength," the Four-eyed Monster said to the taciturn Starry Sky-level Expert of the Angel Camp, who was up next.

The creature nodded and then proceeded towards the arena.

Jia Yan stood to one side, watching everything on stage with detachment.

Meanwhile, in the opposing team, the same monster who had been the first competitor was getting bored. Although the fights looked good to the uninformed spectators, they were child’s play for Starry Sky-level beings.

"Bormu, use a bit of real strength in this one; otherwise, we won’t be able to justify it," a creature approaching the Mid-Starry Sky Period said, communicating through Brainwave Power from below the stage.

"Oh? Use a bit of real power? Now that’s to my liking," the monster grinned.

He had been growing impatient too. The three strong ones from the other side had all been too hasty, far from the previous cautious approach.

Now that his own side’s Strong One had spoken, he could partake in the battle with gusto. He was thrilled!

As for the other side, they surely wouldn’t dare to retaliate too fiercely. After all, at this stage, even if they wanted to retract their perceived surrender and fight back, they would no longer be able to win!
