And those useful things, once absorbed by him, became pure energy within his body. In all of heaven and earth, Jia Yan knew that only Evolutionary Creatures were capable of this feat!
"The feeling of having my energy fully restored is just so comfortable!" Jia Yan expressed his delight.
He continued to muse, "Now that my energy has fully recovered, it’s even possible that due to the process of loss and restoration, my body has become significantly stronger! I can vaguely compare with a being at the Mid-Star Space Level!"
Jia Yan had a very clear understanding of his current state.
That is, in terms of energy, he might still be at the level of a Mid-Star Space Level, but if he were to employ the Bluish Defense and his endurance in battle, he was confident he could preserve his life even in front of a powerful High-Grade Star Space Level adversary.
As for confronting those so-called ’Dragon Strong Ones’, he was unsure because it seemed that each Dragon Strong One was far superior to the average High-Grade Star Space Level individual, each at the pinnacle of the Peak Galaxy Level!
Jia Yan’s ability to multitask was commendable. While reviewing his body’s combat power, he also listened to Harrora’s concerns about the spaceship.
"Don’t worry now that I’m awake. Take a look around and see where the nearest small-scale supply market is. We need to choose a place that isn’t too strong," he said indifferently.
"Lord, we are already nearby," indeed, Harrora, shrewd from age, knew that Jia Yan would want to replenish energy once he woke up, so he had already chosen a place and even arrived there.
Jia Yan was somewhat surprised but still listened to Harrora’s description.
It turned out that he had found a Stellar Energy City established by a modest power.
And this city was only a mere one million kilometers away from the area where the spaceship was located, which, in terms of space travel, was not a far distance at all.
"Are you sure there are only three Earth-Level beings in this city? Alright then, let’s head there to resupply!"
After hearing Harrora’s description, Jia Yan knew that the Elder had put some effort into it. He had selected a weaker Starry Sky City that Jia Yan could handle on his own.
The spaceship turned around in mid-air, heading toward a small region with twinkling lights.
"Lord Jia Yan, you’ve finally shown up. Is this how you treat your employees? Locking me up for days; if you’re going to treat me this way, then I think our employment relationship can end here!"
When Jia Yan met Kama, she started off with this accusation.
However, Jia Yan had no words of rebuttal. What he had done was indeed a bit unkind, but with his current thick skin, he didn’t worry too much about it.
"Ahem, it’s like this, I had some things going on, so I forgot you here. Sorry about that."
Jia Yan didn’t wait for Kama to continue her indignant rant but hastily cut in, "There’s a mission now, and I need you to accompany me to a Starry Sky City. If you get me there, I can pay you a month’s salary in advance, how about it?"
"Who doesn’t know you’re broke! Just trying to fool someone," Kama muttered under her breath, but still, she agreed.
Before long, the enormous Camp-Level Spaceship approached a massive point of light.
There was a highly unique Starry Sky spectacle to be seen; a city that seemed to be floating in a bubble, drifting through space in a most wondrous manner.
Jia Yan already knew about such marvelous cities in this Starfield from his previous readings, but when he saw one of these cities for the first time, he couldn’t help being startled.
In the Orion Arm, he had visited the trading settlements controlled by various powers. But he had not expected to see, in this part of the Starry Sky, cities whose scale and level of technological advancement far surpassed those of the Orion Arm!
This was a city floating in midair, resembling a hemisphere with a diameter of around one hundred kilometers, practically the size of a small planet.
The city had a Greening System as well as skyscrapers; ships flew in and out, depicting a scene of bustling activity.
"Is this considered a small Starry Sky City? What would a large one look like!?" Jia Yan was somewhat amazed within his own flight vehicle.
"Where did you come from, such a backwater place that even a Starry Sky City like this amazes you? This is nothing. If you saw the largest Starry Sky City in my hometown, with its one thousand kilometer diameter, which international organizations debated for years whether to classify as a Starry Sky City or a planet, then you would know what a truly magnificent Starry Sky City looks like," Bella mocked Jia Yan from the side.
Jia Yan didn’t mind her sarcasm at all; in fact, she was right, Jia Yan really did come from an out of the way place. On Earth, not to mention Starry Sky Cities, the spaceships that flew in space were both primitive and minuscule.
"Alright, whether I’m from a backwater or not, I’m still the boss and you’re the employee; drive the flight vehicle over there," Jia Yan responded calmly beside Kama.
Indeed, it was not possible for Jia Yan to allow an unguarded Camp-Level Spaceship to approach this Starry Sky City. In this part of Space, nothing was trustworthy enough; if others saw their nearly defenseless appearance, they would likely want to take a bite out of them, as it was characteristic of the creatures in the Desolate Starfield.
"Always pulling rank as the boss at the drop of a hat, can’t we just have some fun..." Kama grumbled while irritably manipulating the flight vehicle’s control stick.
A 200-meter-long flight vehicle slowly took off from the massive Camp-Level Spaceship, its tail ejecting a burst of Flame for propulsion!
Moving towards that Starry Sky City not far away, it gradually approached.
And that bustling city, shining like a lustrous pearl in the Starry Sky, seemed to welcome their arrival as well, with light twinkling incessantly.
