Jia Yan’s research was still ongoing. Perhaps the powerful being emitting this power had never conceived that Jia Yan could research it.

"Yes, I’m fine, what’s wrong?" Jia Yan looked at Daphne. Although this woman was concerned about him, Jia Yan knew she wouldn’t come to him without a reason.

"We’re getting close to the settlement I mentioned earlier. I came over to inform you." said Daphne.

"We’re almost there? Time does fly. Okay, I’ll get ready and go out." Jia Yan exclaimed, then shared his thoughts using his brainwave power.

Daphne found that the brainwave power emanating from Jia Yan was slightly unusual. Her faced flashed with curiosity, but she said nothing and respectfully withdrew.

"I didn’t expect the brainwave power to have changed, maybe I was wrong. This power might indeed have some connection with brainwave power."

Jia Yan stood there, thinking. The change in his brainwave power when he spoke was a result of his research into the mysterious power!

The most painful moments were actually the best times to research that power, but back then Jia Yan could barely manage to suppress the pain, let alone conduct research.

Stars dotted the vast black curtain of space, and ships floated in the sky, this place was a space zone with no towns or stores anywhere nearby!

Before long, the largest ship in the fleet, a transport ship, slowly opened its enormous hatch...

Scores of gigantic monsters flew out from it.

Leading them was a gigantic flying monster.

This monster had a uniquely enormous pair of wings with interwoven membranes and razor-sharp edges - sharp enough to cut through anything. It had six slender legs, particularly its forelegs, with razor-sharp edges that surpassed anyone’s imagination. Perhaps there was nothing in this world that it couldn’t penetrate!

Five other gigantic monsters with terrifying appearances chased after it, giving the impression of ferocious devils!

Behind these mighty monsters were some smaller creatures in spacesuits, one of them had a graceful figure similar to a human from Earth, she was much smaller compared to the other monsters, but seemed to be of high rank!

"Are we ready then? Next we’ll switch to the smaller ships, specifically the most beat-up two. Hopefully, no one will instance on troubling us."

Daphne, entirely wrapped in a suit not from Earth but from a star civilization, did not hinder her movements despite being bulkier with the addition of a helmet.
