Chapter 570: Chapter 50 Battle!!!! [End of Volume] _1
"Kill the star-rated!"
Commanders of the Ao Si Trustee Battleships were all staring intently at the screen, where the flying monster radiated an astonishingly dangerous aura. They did not feel any threat. Instead, they saw it as a gigantic medal of honor.
Kill a Starry Sky Level Expert!
What a massive temptation!
As unspectacular individuals among the Grey-Yellow Star’s battleships, these officers knew that killing a star space level monster - even an unknown one - would still represent an incredible achievement!
If they succeed, everyone in their spaceship, from the commanders to the most inexperienced soldiers, would have their status elevated to unimaginable heights!
The commanders, who heard what the captain said, were so excited that their eyes turned red as they stared at the flying monster on the screen.
Were they capable of achieving this?!
Definitely possible!
Upon analyzing the data transmitted by the Smart Brain, they found out that this flying monster, despite appearing to be on the Starry Sky Level according to all surface data, was at the very bottom of the rating scale. It resembled a newly promoted Starry Sky Level monster!
This monster was not famous. Even though it’s unknown how it reached Starry Sky Level, its lack of fame indicated that it did not have plenty of combat experience. Hence, its fighting capability was certainly not strong!
Given these factors, they could take advantage of the monster’s relatively weak state and kill it, an action that their cosmic battleship was entirely capable of!
At this moment, all the Ao Si commanders, who looked similar to the people of Earth, were incredibly excited and agitated.
"Okay! We must do whatever we can to take it down!" an excited deputy commander roared with a flush face and ears.
Killing a Starry Sky Level being, even if it appeared to have just been promoted, was an extremely appealing honor.
Their two hundred meters level warship only dared to target someone who had just advanced to Starry Sky Level.
...
"Huh?! This battleship is heading in my direction too. They are indeed targeting me!"
Upon seeing the Space Battleship prowling across the skyline abruptly change course and chase in his direction, Jia Yan immediately understood what was happening.
Since the opponents were pursuing him, he also slightly altered his course. As he ascended, he put a greater distance between himself and Earth City to avoid any unforeseen casualties that might arise from the impending battle.
Boom! Boom! Boom! The battle over Earth City raged more fiercely! Residents on the ground scrambled for safety. Their cries and screams echoed throughout the city. Some of the Sheriff’s aircraft, no longer being intercepted by the Strong Ones, chased after the ordinary beings who had weak combat strength!
The area was flooded with red light. Those who claimed to be Sheriffs, with no ounce of mercy, engaged in relentless massacres. After all, this was essentially war. Anyone associated with Earth City was now their enemy, and there was no possibility of mercy!
"Lulu, run!" Two children stood nearly unnoticed amidst the fleeing horde. Carrying nothing other than what they wore, they were far more agile and fleet than many of those burdened by their belongings. By sheer luck, they managed to escape into the forest near the edge of Earth City.
By now, the landscape of the Yellow Continent was entirely swallowed by a firestorm. Buildings in Earth City, built not too long ago, were collapsing left and right; untransformed combat vehicles were reduced to debris, glaring in the roaring flames.
Lulu did not know how many tears she had shed. Every time she looked back at the devastation, her heart ached for the lost lives, the shattered streets she had once swept. But she kept shedding tears nonetheless.
Lulu was physically supported by Kaga. Together they struggled to reach the outskirts of the Yellow Continent. Some people continued to flee into the desert, hoping to leave Earth City behind forever, while others gathered in areas not yet swept by the flames and overlooked by the Sheriff’s aircrafts.
Lulu and Kaga also stopped. For the two homeless children, leaving the Yellow Continent would only guarantee their death, so they chose to stick it out.
"Kaga, I’m so scared! Wah wah wah wah wah." Lulu was trembling from head to toe, despite having experienced more than her fair share of hardships as a young orphan. It was her first time witnessing such a terrifying war, and she was inconsolably terrified.
"Don’t be afraid! I’ll protect you, Lulu!" Kaga, the little man, held Lulu close, carefully observing the lifeforms around them. Kaga knew that under such circumstances, erstwhile partners could easily turn against each other.
Nevertheless, these alien lives would not attack two children who had nothing to take. It just didn’t make any sense to them.
Boom! Boom! Boom! The sound of the ongoing battle above the city’s skyline echoed continuously.
The Strong Ones of Earth City were engaged in aerial combat with the Sheriff’s aircrafts. Without the help of the Big Mosquito, their situation quickly worsened.
Fortunately, streams of multicolored lights fired hidden shots from over a hundred places among the flames engulfing the Yellow Continent. The lights obstructed the Sheriff’s aircrafts, momentarily balancing the power equation between the two sides!
