To exact vengeance with swift decisiveness—this has always been the creed Jia Yan lived by. Especially after his rebirth, he had come to integrate this principle deeply into his combat philosophy.

In this Dark Realm, killing and carnage ran wild without restraint. After being targeted by the Group of Futile Life multiple times—this time, with such a massive ambush by numerous Semi-permanent Star existences—it was only Jia Yan’s formidable strength that saved him from certain death.

This was a death trap. Having shattered it, Jia Yan naturally owed his enemies a fitting gift in return.

What’s that old saying again?

Returning without reciprocating? That would breach the etiquette!

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM...

The artificially created black hole twisted and expanded, violently trembling. Within this Distorted Space, it seemed to grow ever larger with each passing moment.

If not for Jia Yan’s desperate exertion of his Space Talent to suppress it, it would have already exploded.

Even with such fierce suppression, Jia Yan dared not relax for a fraction of a second. This monstrosity was already on the brink of collapse, and with the slightest misstep, it would instantly annihilate him within this subspace—leaving not even a trace of his remains.

"What? You’re saying six or seven Semi-permanent Star existences couldn’t pin down that Mo Ke? That they couldn’t even kill his companions? And now he’s coming to assault our Group of Futile Life headquarters, while carrying a ticking, about-to-explode artificial black hole? Are you joking with me?"

In the vastness of the Starry Sky, such words echoed through a long-distance cosmic transmission.

The communication systems within the Genius Battlefield were galaxy-levels ahead of those in the Northern Star Domain or most other starfields Jia Yan had encountered. Even over billions of kilometers, there was barely any delay.

"Ugh, you’d better not underestimate that Mo Ke. His strength rivals that of an Intermediate Talent Semi-permanent Star Genius. Even when I fought him directly, his reliance on that bizarre black hole and his Space Talent left me with little recourse against him. The fact is, we miscalculated here. You should prepare for him potentially reaching you. Although, in my assessment, the odds of him making it to your headquarters are only about thirty percent—because I believe that artificial black hole won’t hold out long enough before it detonates."

Inside a battleship floating amidst the Starry Sky, a High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star presence communicated with another being located billions of kilometers away.

The speaker was a High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star Monster who had previously engaged Jia Yan in outright battle.

As for the recipient of the transmission—it was none other than another High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star figure at the headquarters of the Group of Futile Life, contacted urgently via a secure channel.

"Are you out of your mind? Fine! I’ll believe you—this time. I’ll make the arrangements immediately."

The Semi-permanent Star being on the other end abruptly cut the communication. Only then did the High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star Monster on this side exhale a long-held breath of relief.

"That Mo Ke... he’s terrifying!"

This entity, who had previously crossed paths with Jia Yan, was now thoroughly unsettled, reflecting on the sheer fearsome power Jia Yan had demonstrated earlier.

"Though his combat experience seems limited, his exhibited combat power is anything but weak. Furthermore, his peculiar battle skills and unconventional fighting style made it difficult for me to take him down quickly."

"Still, if given another chance, I’m confident I could finish him in under three moves!"

The monster seethed with frustration over the previous encounter with Jia Yan. Yet, there was an unspoken reason behind its anger.

It was the discovery that Jia Yan’s ’true body’ appeared to be merely that of a Dignitary!

If his true form was merely a Dignitary, what horrifying level of Talent could grant such fearsome power to someone of his standing? Perhaps the Genius Battlefield authorities would lavish colossal resources to nurture and enhance him!

Hence, a suffocating dread gnawed at the monster. A prodigy of that caliber—a top-tier Genius, likely even beyond—challenging one like Mo Ke could only lead to a grim demise in the future.

"Never mind it, let’s wait and see if Mo Ke can even reach the Group of Futile Life stronghold. If something seems off, I’ll simply avoid him. After all, he has no idea that I’m not genuinely affiliated with the Group of Futile Life. As long as I stay hidden, he’ll never find me."

With this thought, the High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star Monster finally felt a sense of relief.

What he did not know, however, was that at the Group of Futile Life headquarters, located billions of kilometers away, the High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star member there was casually sneering with disdain after ending the call.

"This guy must have something wrong with his head. Just because he couldn’t deal with a Secondary Level existence, he feels the need to exaggerate, claiming some dangerous black hole nonsense. From what I’ve heard, our comrades who engaged Mo Ke earlier saw nothing too extraordinary about him. Sure, he produced some black hole-like tool—but it’s probably just a fake prop used to scare them so he could escape."

"Indeed. This High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star Monster’s faction has always carried a competitive edge against us. Inviting him this time was clearly a mistake."

The multiple Semi-permanent Star dignitaries stationed at the Group of Futile Life showed no inclination to treat the warnings seriously.

No alarms were raised. Daily life continued as usual within the colossal organization, undisturbed.

What they remained oblivious to, however, was that a mere Dignitary-ranked creature was presently traversing the cosmos, bearing an excruciatingly overwhelming burden—a force so terrible that it far exceeded his capacity to endure, yet he maintained control with unwavering focus.

With the help of Space Stones, Jia Yan had succeeded in stabilizing the explosive artificial black hole.

"Almost there!"

Glancing at the surrounding Distorted Space, Jia Yan resumed his rapid flight.

The Group of Futile Life was considered a formidable mid-tier force within the official Genius Battlefield rankings, and even among the Central Star Area, this organization was far from insignificant.

Their headquarters sprawled across a vast area covering millions of kilometers. On the enormous Star Chart, numerous small celestial bodies dotted their territory, each teeming with vast numbers of monsters.

However, at the absolute center of the Star Chart lay the true nucleus of the headquarters, hosting their ten most prosperous celestial bodies—and guarding these were five Semi-permanent Star beings, one of which was a High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star presence permanently stationed there.

Today, several Semi-permanent Star dignitaries gathered for a meeting to discuss the organization’s future expansion strategy.

"We’ve heard reports about that troublesome Mo Ke, the one who caused havoc on our Star of Carnival, escaping from a meticulously planned ambush. Some say he might even launch a retaliation against our headquarters."

"Ridiculous! If he doesn’t dare come, all is well. But should he come, he’ll learn that our headquarters is no different from a Dragon’s Den or a Tiger’s Lair."

"Let’s drop this irrelevant talk and move forward with the discussion on the possibility of annexing the Rouge Power."

Several Semi-permanent Star existences convened, deeply engrossed in strategizing their faction’s expansion.

Outside this pivotal meeting star, numerous run-of-the-mill monsters roamed, engaging in leisure activities.

Across the vast domain of the Group of Futile Life, scattered over countless celestial bodies, the total population was no less than hundreds of thousands.

This meeting star was revered by many as a Holy Land, attracting countless visitors even on ordinary days.

Yet today, the monsters enjoying their time on the star began to sense something peculiar.

"Hmm, have you noticed some unusual fluctuations in the distant Starry Sky?"

"I’ve felt it too. You’re one of those with Space Talent, right? So am I. Could there be some anomaly in space?"

"Impossible. The Group of Futile Life has invested heavily in stabilizing space. Massive machinery ensures that the space surrounding our stars remains firmly intact."

"Then how do you explain..."

Amidst the mutual confusion of the Space Talent users, a distorted spacefield—nearly visible to the naked eye—suddenly surged into the central domain of the Group of Futile Life.

From the warped zone, under the terrified gazes of countless monsters, a sleek, gleaming Metal Monster casually stepped out of the violently unstable, seemingly ready-to-explode subspace.

Right beside the Metal Monster was a Secondary Level being who had detected the spatial anomaly earlier and was just preparing to flee.

"Is this the Group of Futile Life?"

The being that had appeared from the torn subspace spoke with an icy and bone-chilling voice as it addressed the startled Secondary Level creature.

The monster, mid-flight and frozen by fear, realized that despite the other’s matching Secondary Level power, this intruder exuded an aura so overpowering it felt as though his very being were pinned in place, unable to move.

Understanding that the opponent’s strength far outmatched his own, the frightened creature hesitantly answered.

"Y-Yes... this is the location of our Group of Futile Life’s headquarters star. But you, a mere Secondary Level, cannot afford to act recklessly here..."

Though stammering and afraid, the monster’s confidence grew as he recalled their headquarters’ overwhelming defensive might.

Three centuries ago, an outsider from beyond the Dark Realm—a High-level Talent Semi-permanent Star Creature—attempted to storm their headquarters single-handedly. That being sought to obliterate the Group of Futile Life alone but was ultimately annihilated by their collective might.

The Group of Futile Life’s main stronghold boasted far more than strong individuals; even their advanced technological weaponry could easily annihilate several High-level Talent Semi-permanent Stars.

"Heh, I’ve arrived. Somehow, I forced myself to hold on until now!"

The Secondary Level monster’s face stiffened in disbelief as the oddly grinning Metal Monster ignored his warning and chuckled softly with an unsettling air of madness.

Then, as it turned its metallic gaze, its ice-cold glare caused the Secondary Level creature to tremble uncontrollably.

"Since you’ve shared such valuable intel, I’ll do you a favor by letting you in on something," it said, its tone dripping with lunacy. "From this moment forward—RUN. Run as far as you possibly can. Because I..."

"I’ve brought the grandest fireworks!"

A gleeful yet deranged smile curled on the Metal Monster’s lips.

And with that, the Distorted Space behind it reached its ultimate limit and burst apart entirely!
