Chapter 1374: Chapter 27: The Trump Card Move! [Happy Women’s Day]

"This brat is courting death. I’ll go down and meet him!"

Among the fleet, a second-level powerhouse with intermediate talent narrowed his gaze coldly before leaping directly out of the battleship.

He had to move quickly because the fleet chasing from behind, astonishingly, even included a semi-permanent star powerhouse with intermediate talent. Wasting time wasn’t an option.

"This brat must be from that fleet too. I’ll kill him quickly and escape; otherwise, I’ll be dead for sure. It’s bad luck to run into an intermediate-talent semi-permanent star powerhouse just for stealing some supplies!"

That second-level genius powerhouse was so annoyed he almost spat blood. They had been robbing across the boundary of the Liqiao Force and another power for some time without encountering any significant danger.

But today, not only did they encounter an intermediate-talent second-level powerhouse before this one, but now there was even a fleet governed by a semi-permanent star powerhouse chasing them from behind. It scared him out of his wits.

Thus, as soon as he flew out, he aimed a strike directly at Jia Yan.

"How dare you!"

Fifty thousand kilometers behind, on a ship from the pursuing fleet, Tian Tesu’s heart skipped a beat. He almost believed that Jia Yan was about to suffer a severe injury or even die.

He could not imagine, no matter how hard he tried, that Jia Yan could withstand the attack of an intermediate-talent second-level powerhouse.

But Jia Yan was fearless!

His strength had seen remarkable growth over the past year. Whether or not he could now resist a severely injured second-level powerhouse with intermediate talent was still unknown to him.

This was the perfect opportunity to find out.

The opponent’s massive five hundred-meter body charged like a meteor, threatening to crush Jia Yan’s relatively small, hundred-meter frame into smithereens.

In that dangerous moment, Jia Yan stepped back just slightly. Then his body lit up in a dazzling bluish glow.

Perhaps it was the unraveling of the mysteries of the Evolutionary Creatures or his cells being fully saturated with energy, but Jia Yan had now become adept at controlling his bluish defense with ease.

At this instant, without relying on external pressures, he activated his bluish defense entirely of his own will.

He raised one of his feet, an expression of unrestrained madness covering his face.

"What? He dares to engage me head-on? That’s sheer suicide."

The second-level powerhouse monster’s expression faltered for a moment but then shifted to one of ridicule. Without stopping, he hammered down with his forearm, which resembled a giant human fist, aiming directly at Jia Yan.

Tian Tesu, far behind, was too late to offer assistance, watching helplessly as Jia Yan was seemingly engulfed by the gigantic body of this second-level powerhouse.

Meanwhile, aboard the fleet, Xi Bala’s eyes sparkled with anticipation, as if she were the one battling the enormous beast. Her excitement was almost euphoric.

And sure enough!

Just as the colossal second-level powerhouse’s devastating blow reached the bluish Jia Yan...

Jia Yan’s front limb also extended, striking the surface of the opponent’s massive fist.

The two collided directly in the vacuum of space!

An explosion of enormous energy erupted in the void. Jia Yan’s single limb clashed with the opponent’s fist, generating a shocking shockwave that reverberated through outer space!

The vacuum around them pulsated with violent ripples, causing nearby battleships to shudder uncontrollably.

"How is this possible!"

Another second-level powerhouse monster on a battleship, even more heavily injured, was utterly astonished at the sight.

They had assumed that Jia Yan, equipped with the subspace traversal capability of a Supreme Monster, would be easily dealt with by their companion. But to their disbelief, the so-called Supreme Monster was holding his ground against the injured powerhouse!

"I remember now... It’s Jia Yan! Damn it, this guy’s strength has grown even more terrifying than the rumors from a year ago!"

The monster, ignoring its injuries, flew out of the battleship desperately and headed toward Jia Yan’s location to join the fray.

If they didn’t repel Jia Yan now, the whole fleet would be doomed with no chance of escape.

Although it seemed lengthy, everything unfolded in just an instant.

The pursuing fleet of Tian Tesu’s battleships was still thirty thousand kilometers away, pushing their engines to the brink. Meanwhile, Xi Bala’s battered spacecraft was somehow managing to keep up.

"Whoa! Lord Jia Yan actually withstood the strike of an intermediate-talent second-level powerhouse! Oh my god, Lord Jia Yan, I love you!"

Witnessing Jia Yan match the powerhouse blow for blow, Xi Bala’s eyes turned starry, and she let out a high-pitched scream that echoed like the squeal of an Earth teen in a frenzy.

Jia Yan heard it and felt slightly awkward.

But he wouldn’t let something so trivial distract him mid-battle.

"Hmm?"

As Jia Yan’s front limb met the next strike head-on, his expression shifted slightly, prompting him to retreat hastily.

Where he had been standing, a sharp claw suddenly appeared, snapping down forcefully!

"Both of them are here?"

Jia Yan spotted the claw—a massive pincer from the second intermediate-talent powerhouse—and his expression grew somber.

Facing one wounded second-level powerhouse, Jia Yan had a fighting chance. But against two of them, even if they were injured, the odds were heavily against him.

He understood his current strength: while greatly improved, it wasn’t enough to handle two injured second-level intermediate-talent powerhouses. If either were at full strength, he wouldn’t stand a chance. And now, with the other joining the fight, his situation became far more perilous.

Of course, that assessment did not consider his Evolutionary Creature Cellular Power, which he had yet to fully unleash. Truth be told, he still didn’t know the extent of his strength when fully powered up, as he’d never tested it.

"But I still have one last trump card. Now that Cellular Energy is my new ace, I can reveal the former one!"

With the two injured second-level powerhouses closing in, Jia Yan’s aura intensified.

"Kill him! I heard a certain faction has placed a hefty bounty on his head. If we kill him and record the footage, we’ll be richly rewarded."

The newly arrived semi-permanent star genius seemed to have recognized Jia Yan’s identity. Eyeing Jia Yan like prey, he bore the demeanor of a death-defying maverick—a pursuer of wealth and power who would pay any price to grow stronger.

"Haha! Then let’s kill him together, brother!"

The two injured second-level powerhouses shamelessly coordinated their efforts and launched a combined assault on Jia Yan.

"Not yet!"

Jia Yan raised one leg to block, but the strike still sent him flying like an explosion had gone off in his body.

Before Jia Yan could recover, the creature with the pincer awaited him in his flight path.

Jia Yan was about to crash straight into the massive claw!

At the critical moment, Jia Yan’s brainwave power flared, narrowly allowing him to evade as the pincer snapped shut with a thunderous crack.

"Exhilarating! This is what real combat feels like!"

No rules. No restrictions. The raw experience of staring death in the face exhilarated Jia Yan, igniting his fighting spirit like never before.

"How has he not died yet? Damn Supreme Monster!"

The towering second-level powerhouse roared, striking Jia Yan again. But Jia Yan’s bluish defense absorbed the impact, only sending him flying without causing severe harm.

"Together, we can end this in one strike!"

The creature with the pincer joined the other monster. The two locked eyes before launching another coordinated attack on Jia Yan.

"Die!"

Their bodies merged into a tightly coordinated assault. By some unknown means, their combined speed surged far beyond normal levels, and they rushed toward Jia Yan.

There was no escape for Jia Yan—not enough time!

"Lord Jia Yan, retreat now!"

Tian Tesu, now only two thousand kilometers from the battlefield, tried desperately to intervene with his brainwave power. But the distance was still too great, and he couldn’t act in time.

He deeply regretted bringing Jia Yan here in the first place and exposing him to the dangers of the greater universe.

From another angle, Xi Bala’s expression shifted as a black shadow emerged faintly from her emaciated frame.

The shadow seemed ready to move, but Xi Bala paused, her expression darkening slightly.

Tian Tesu’s expression also changed.

Back on the battlefield, in the face of the two devastatingly powerful creatures’ combined assault, Jia Yan seemed utterly powerless to resist.

But just when death seemed imminent, Jia Yan calmly lifted one front limb.

Clutched tightly in that limb was a pitch-black object.

The object was shrouded in a mysterious haze, as if endless space lurked within it.

"A space stone? Isn’t that harmless? What is he doing with it?"

One of the charging monsters muttered curiously.

"Who cares! Maybe he’s gone mad knowing he’s about to die. Hahaha." The other beast laughed heartily.

Both intensified their attack, now mere moments away from striking Jia Yan’s body!

"Take this..."

At that moment, Jia Yan uttered chillingly.

Then, before the two powerhouses could react, Jia Yan hurled the black object at them with incredible force.

"Explode!"

As Jia Yan’s voice rang out, the entirety of the universe seemed to tremble violently!

For what felt like an eternity, time stood still—a grayscale silence blanketing all.

Then...

BOOM!!!!!!

In an instant, a catastrophic explosion erupted, utterly obliterating the area.

The two attacking monsters bore the brunt of the explosion and were sent flying with no chance of resistance.

Jia Yan, too, was caught in the blast. But he had planned for this moment and slipped into subspace just as the shockwave reached him.
