The universe could truly be said to be boundless and infinite.

Within this vast and sprawling universe, what kinds of lives and species might come into existence is something no one can truly predict.

The Earth people have no idea that the Giant Mosquito Monster, which they revere as a Divine Spirit, is battling for survival in a distant corner of the universe. Moreover, there exist beings that even this Giant Mosquito cannot possibly defeat.

The Giant Mosquito is none other than Jia Yan.

Swish!

In the sky, a brilliant flash of white light erupted as two forces collided.

This was the shockwave of a battle between two powerful monsters.

After colliding once, the two quickly pulled apart.

Then, they fiercely clashed again, producing shockwaves that nearly sent the spectators tumbling.

"Mister Jia Yan, your power is truly impressive."

Amidst the battle, a massive monster resembling a lion from Earth roared with laughter.

"Senior, your strength isn’t lacking either."

The other monster, whose body shimmered in blue, unleashed energy far weaker than its opponent. Surprisingly, it held its ground in the exchange.

The two continued their fierce combat.

That blue monster was, of course, Jia Yan—a member of the Giant Mosquito species worshiped as Earth’s legendary Guardian Deity!

Jia Yan was currently looking rather battered. Despite his rapid growth in power, he was still embroiled in a grueling fight.

The opposing monster from the Elong Power faction revealed the strength of one of the eleven Strong Ones of the 132 Star Zone during this savage battle. Having just ascended to the late stage of the Honored One, Jia Yan’s unstable power made the fight particularly difficult.

"Jia Yan, your strength is undoubtedly admirable. I never imagined I’d have a day where I’d battle evenly with a Dignitary."

The Lion Monster opened its massive jaws, with razor-sharp teeth resembling deadly spears.

Then, with a fierce snap, it tried to swallow the Mosquito Monster whole in one bite.

But before that could happen, the Giant Mosquito Monster precisely struck the Lion’s teeth with its foot.

Leveraging the reaction force, Jia Yan retreated tens of kilometers and slipped into subspace.

"You’re using that move again? Didn’t I tell you it’s useless against me now?" The Lion Monster, seeing Jia Yan retreat into subspace once more, changed its expression but showed little fear, observing its surroundings alertly.

This time, however, the situation was different.

As it sensed a disturbance nearby, it also felt the shift was caused by gravity.

"Trying to use methods to counter a spatial adept against me? I am no merely spatial adept!"

The Lion Monster realized Jia Yan had generated the pull of a black hole and promptly understood his plan.

Ignoring the gravity behind it, it swung one of its claws in the opposite direction.

Sure enough, a blue shimmering forefoot emerged from the void, only to be smacked by the monster’s claw.

The energy defense on the claw’s surface made it impossible for the sharp tip of Jia Yan’s foot to pierce through.

Freshly reappeared in real space, Jia Yan was blasted backward by the sheer power of the strike!

However, as Jia Yan was sent flying, distorted space appeared behind him once again, and he retreated back into subspace.

"Such exquisite spatial talent. No wonder Lan Wu lost to you. But to fight me, this level of subspace ability won’t suffice!"

The Lion Monster struck at a certain part of space, seemingly predicting where Jia Yan would reappear. Indeed, Jia Yan emerged precisely at that location.

Jia Yan was blasted backward again.

This time, as Jia Yan’s figure was sent flying, a black hole’s gravitational pull suddenly materialized behind him. The combined forces of the pull and his backward momentum allowed him to abruptly change direction, hurtling back toward the Lion Monster.

"Hmm?"

The Lion Monster’s expression shifted to alarm as it attempted to evade.

But the combined acceleration of multiple forces exceeded its ability to dodge.

Jia Yan extended his forefoot, the shimmering blue limb slicing past the Lion Monster’s side, leaving a trail of blood in its wake.

After an extended battle, Jia Yan inflicted his first injury on the opponent.

Of course, Jia Yan’s own body bore some wounds as well, though his injuries were becoming fewer, while the Lion Monster’s condition was steadily deteriorating.

After several more attacks, the Lion Monster suffered additional injuries.

This time, Jia Yan severed one of its sharp teeth entirely.

"Roar! Jia Yan, if you want to fight, fine, but why destroy my majestic fang?"

The Lion Monster growled furiously, its movements turning rapidly chaotic, a reflection of its growing desperation.

Yet Jia Yan let out a long exhale at this moment.

"The lion is exhausted. Its immense power now pales in precision and momentum compared to when the battle began."

Jia Yan knew the fight was nearing its end.

The claws came down, prompting Jia Yan to retreat into subspace.

But before he could emerge from subspace, the opponent’s unique Environmental Control Power reached into the void, attempting to locate Jia Yan’s true body.

Dodging repeatedly, Jia Yan narrowly evaded this encroaching force.

The next instant, Jia Yan flew out of subspace, reappearing behind the exhausted Lion Monster.

A brilliant flash of blood-red light burst forth!

With this strike, the Lion Monster let out a sky-shaking howl.

It was a cry of pain, for Jia Yan’s attack used concentrated power to pierce the creature’s spine at a critical point with his forefoot.

"I surrender. Jia Yan, you’re truly remarkable."

Sensing that it couldn’t continue the fight, the Lion Monster quickly declared its defeat.

Upon hearing its announcement, Jia Yan, himself somewhat drained, retreated to the edge of the arena and glanced at King Er Ding on the high platform.

"Well... this round goes to Jia Yan!"

Under Jia Yan’s gaze, King Er Ding, who had been frozen in shock, involuntarily shuddered and hastily declared Jia Yan the victor.

He was afraid!

King Er Ding, an exceptionally powerful Semi-permanent Star Level strong one within the Elong Power faction, had no chance against Jia Yan’s opponent, King Er Huo. Now that Jia Yan had defeated King Er Huo, it implied he could also defeat King Er Ding effortlessly.

What had initially been scornful or mocking stares turned into ones tinged with fear. King Er Ding no longer understood why he found himself so terrified, especially when Jia Yan looked toward him with a faint smile that sent shivers through his entire body.

In the audience stands, an eerie silence stretched on for a prolonged time.

Only after a while did a portion of the spectators exhale deeply in reflection.

"I never truly understood what real geniuses in the Genius Battlefield were like. Today I’ve seen it for myself."

"Indeed. I used to think the only difference between me and high-level geniuses was opportunity, but after witnessing Lord Jia Yan, I now know I’ve been a frog in a well—pitiful and laughable."

These statements of enlightenment from several spectators set a ripple effect, and soon, countless voices filled the audience stands!

"Mister Jia Yan has triumphed yet again... I regret it so much. Was I seriously cursing him earlier? With strength like this, what need is there for cheating?"

"King Er Huo is one of our star zone’s eleventh-ranked Strong Ones, yet Lord Jia Yan has defeated even him. Could it be that he aims to win the Semi-permanent Star Level championship outright, clinching a triple crown in the Elong Power’s Genius Battlefield?"

"While it seems like he doesn’t yet have the strength to defeat the top three Strong Ones, with a genius like him, who knows what hidden talents he has? I wouldn’t dare to underestimate him anymore."

The spectators, no longer daring to hurl insults, kept silent—especially those who had cursed Jia Yan viciously before. Such individuals now kept their heads down, terrified of being called out and ridiculed.

Jia Yan had slapped countless faces cleanly and directly today, leaving nearly half of the millions of present audience members embarrassed.

Yet those openly shamed dare not bear resentment. Everyone now recognized Jia Yan’s status as a high-level genius.

Who dared to speak ill of such a genius? Besides, Jia Yan’s power was now unquestionably capable of eliminating most creatures present here...assuming it was one-on-one combat.

Spotting members of the Tornado Force faction, Jia Yan noticed even Tai Jin bowing his head in deference, as though greeting a supreme strong one.

"Sigh..." Jia Yan sighed quietly.

Power surely changes relationships. At least when it came to the creatures of Tornado Force, Jia Yan knew there was no going back to how things used to be.

"Lord Jia Yan, the five-strong finals are up next. Your rivals will rise to the rank of the top five. Do you think you’re ready?"

Tai Jin approached Jia Yan respectfully, his tone full of uncertainty but devoid of arrogance.

Despite having long recognized Jia Yan’s genius, Tai Jin now saw Jia Yan’s current strength surpass his own, forcing an entirely different attitude.

He dared not speak recklessly, nor did he dare to claim seniority over Jia Yan anymore.

"Senior Tai Jin, I will fight. Even if I lose, at least I won’t lose my life," Jia Yan replied calmly.

"I have faith in your strength, Lord. I wish you victory in advance."

Tai Jin nodded and smiled.

Jia Yan was about to say something in return when his expression suddenly changed dramatically!

It wasn’t just him—throughout the Elong Power’s Genius Battlefield, the top fifty Semi-permanent Star Level contenders all wore shocked looks.

Jia Yan lifted his head. Dozens upon dozens of strong ones did the same.

High above in the starry sky, a void-like portal silently materialized.

The portal was a staggering thirty or forty kilometers in diameter, cloaked in mists and filled with occasional bursts of lightning flickering across its depths—a sight of terrifying magnitude.

What was this?!

Jia Yan stared at the spatial anomaly in shock, a mix of awe and confusion reflecting in his compound eyes.

"Such overwhelming energy... What lies within this void portal?"

Jia Yan fixed his gaze on the portal.

At this moment, the surrounding competition grounds and most creatures nearby finally began to notice the bizarre scene unfolding above.

"What’s going on in the sky over there? Why is there such a horrifying celestial phenomenon appearing?"

"I hadn’t noticed it earlier either—what is that?"

While the spectators and participants murmured in bewilderment, the void portal suddenly flared with a massive lightning strike, accompanied by what seemed like an explosion.

Soon after.

A colossal foot, entirely black and eerily massive, slowly extended from within the portal.

At first glance, the foot measured no less than a kilometer long, with the true body of whatever enormous terror attached to it remaining beyond comprehension in size.
