Chapter 1226: Chapter 13 What Do You Want? [1/3 Burst Update]

"I am certainly aware, for I too am not an existence from this starfield," the green-skinned monster explained.

"Oh?" Jia Yan was taken aback. He didn’t really care whether the monster was a strong one from the Orion Arm or not. What he found strange was why the creature was treating him as if he were a strong outsider.

Of course, Jia Yan said nothing. He simply wanted to know the reason why this strong entity had sought him out.

"Lord, I wish to invite you to take me back to the place of my birth. There lies an enormous opportunity that I am willing to share with you. Would you be interested?" the green-skinned monster suddenly said something that piqued Jia Yan’s interest.

As expected, this strong one had some benefits to seek from him!

Jia Yan was delighted inwardly. In the universe, there were indeed many chances and opportunities. As an Evolutionary Creature, Jia Yan had an even greater dependency on external resources than ordinary life forms. If there were any opportunity, it would be extremely attractive to him, to say the least.

"What is this opportunity you speak of?" Jia Yan asked with some interest.

He wasn’t paying much attention at the moment, as the green-skinned monster’s perspective couldn’t compare to his. If it was going to offer some common materials from the outside world, he wouldn’t be interested.

"Lord, I know you are also a Strong One from outside, otherwise naturally occurring Strong Ones in the Orion Arm would take too much time to emerge. I never believed in things like the Star Sky Beast before. The opportunity I speak of is something extremely useful to outsiders like you."

The green-skinned monster spoke mysteriously.

"Stop beating around the bush, just tell me what it is," Jia Yan grew a bit impatient.

Seeing that the strong entity seemed unmoved, the green-skinned monster realized that the Strong Ones from outside were not as captivated by the so-called opportunities as existences from the Orion Arm.

"Lord, it’s like this. The family I fled from as a child seems to have been annihilated at the same time I escaped. Yet, I know of a secret base within my family that contains medicines which are very effective on Respected level monsters. It’s said that these medicines come from the Supreme Starfield and are extremely potent for those at the Respect Level. Of course, whether they have any effect on the Strong Ones of the Orion Arm, I do not know."

The green-skinned monster revealed his so-called opportunity.

"The Supreme Starfield? Where is that?" Jia Yan was not so interested in the so-called opportunity, but rather curious about this new term mentioned by the green-skinned monster.

"Uh, you don’t know about the Supreme Starfield, Lord? But that’s possible. I don’t know how many star distances I’ve crossed either. Probably the name of the Supreme Starfield isn’t very well-known around this part."

"The Supreme Starfield is a vast starfield power near my homeland, that power harbors a Galaxy Level great existence, and produces medicines that are supreme throughout the entire Milky Way, with some medicines even greatly aiding Advancement to Eternal Star Rank."

The green-skinned monster answered Jia Yan’s questions.

Jia Yan fell into contemplation.

He wasn’t pondering the so-called opportunity.

Rather, his understanding of the whole Milky Way’s worldview expanded at that moment. To him, the Milky Way had always been like a veiled lady, a bit vague and blurry, and now that he was gradually gaining understanding, he realized that it seemed filled with powers.

Especially some of the massive powers, it seemed he could not afford to offend.

"Lord?" The green-skinned monster, seeing no response from Jia Yan, spoke up again, somewhat hopefully.

"I’m sorry, I’m not interested at the moment. However, I will keep your words in mind. When I become interested, I will come to find you," Jia Yan said.

Right now, he clearly didn’t have much time. For Jia Yan, both his True Body and Avatar had things to attend to. The so-called opportunity that the green-skinned monster seemed to value highly didn’t hold much appeal for Jia Yan. After all, he had a lot of things on his plate, and such elusive matters could wait until he was free.

"Oh, okay, but Lord, if you are interested, I will be waiting for you anytime in the Ru Lan Empire," the green-skinned monster said, somewhat disappointed.

Jia Yan didn’t stay here for too long. To him, the worldview of this green-skinned monster was still too narrow. Moreover, the monster’s words, one way or another, were probing into his secrets, which Jia Yan found somewhat uncomfortable, and he took his leave directly.

"Ah, this Earth messenger actually doesn’t want to take me out, uninterested in the opportunity," the green-skinned monster looked at the departing silhouette of Jia Yan, feeling rather helpless.

"Do I need to tell him that in my family’s secret grounds, there lies something even more powerful? No, I can’t say that. I am aiming for that thing myself. If I tell him and even if I could go back, I wouldn’t be able to own it."

The green-skinned monster hung his head in unwillingness, and entered into a deep sleep, which was the real reason this strong entity could maintain a lengthy life!

Of course, Jia Yan knew this being had its own agenda. He also didn’t believe the words spoken, and this was why he wouldn’t easily agree. Jia Yan understood that he was not invincible in the outer world. If he took him to the outside world, it would be too dangerous for his True Body to personally intervene, and if he used an avatar, no one on Earth would be able to take care. Neither were good options.

"It seems I should ask people from the Country of Taia next time if there will be any complications if I want to establish a second avatar," Jia Yan mused to himself.

The Ru Lan Empire was shaken from top to bottom due to the Earth messenger’s involvement, even affecting the lives of the lower-tier civilians.

To accommodate the demands of the Lord Earth Envoy and to extend goodwill towards the Earth people whom the Ru Lan Empire’s forces had unintentionally harmed outside, the Ru Lan Empire began selecting the best workers and teaching resources throughout the entire empire.

They were transported ship by ship through the vast starry sky; it was said that just three days after the arrival of the Earth messenger, a shipload of people had already been sent into space.

These technical workers and teacher resources would drift in the cosmos for the coming years, and their arrival on Earth would be much delayed.

Of course, for the lifespan of a civilization, such time is considered negligible. If Earth can wait a few more years, with these teacher resources and technical workers, the overall civilizational strength will explode in growth, resembling a geometric progression.

Jia Yan also understood that the strength of a civilization cannot be so easily advanced. It’s similar to the situation on Earth decades ago, where countries were graded differently; some African nations, no matter how hard they tried to learn, could not attain the level of civilization of the Western world. This represents the bottleneck issue in advancement.

However, Earth’s overall civilizational strength is currently so weak that, especially in the beginning stage, these teacher resources are certainly still effective. By the time we reach the bottleneck, Jia Yan probably won’t need to worry about it anymore.

In the dead of night.

"Master, the drinks here are quite good. They’re very tasty."

A charmingly delicate and beautiful woman lounged lazily on a plush sofa, looking at the resolute man standing on one side and broke into a teasing giggle.

"As long as you like it. In the coming period, you can live the life you’ve always enjoyed here."

The man simply smiled, then looked up at the several stars in the night sky that seemed to fade due to their distance.

"But suddenly, I find myself disliking the Ru Lan Empire. Hehe, for three hundred years, I’ve always adored this nation, dreaming daily of coming here. But now that I’m really here, I’ve discovered it’s completely different from what I imagined. It’s almost a joke."

The woman shook her head, her smile tinged with bitterness.

"Alright, now I don’t care whether you’re willing or not. In the Ru Lan Empire, you wield considerable power. Presumably, the beings here will grant you whatever you want. I’m about to leave. I hope you do well."

Jia Yan shook his head, without a doubt, he was the resolute man, and the woman in front of him was Daphne.

The redhead seemed a bit drunk at the moment, her eyes slightly bleary.

"Master, are you leaving already? Hehe, go ahead. I always feel you’re getting further away from me. But now that I’ve reached a position where even the Emperor of the Ru Lan Empire is scared of me, I’m satisfied. Just hope you’ll look after me in the future."

"Hehe, if you want any special services, I don’t mind providing them, you know..." Daphne seductively glanced at Jia Yan with a voluptuous look.

"You’re drunk," Jia Yan said, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Right, you have a lot of power here in the Ru Lan Empire, but remember to maintain a degree of friendliness towards the Empire. Otherwise, if someone wants to kill you when I’m not around, I won’t be able to return in time to save you. Apart from that, they wouldn’t reject your reasonable requests, but it’s up to you to measure the extent of requests."

Jia Yan glanced at Daphne, who was in a drunken stupor, then shook his head: "Take care of yourself, I’m heading to the Auster Empire."

With that, he suddenly stamped his foot!

Immediately, Jia Yan turned into a streak of blue brilliance, shooting directly towards the horizon.

Behind him, Daphne got up from the sofa with a sullen look on her face after seeing this commander leave.

She watched the point of light that quickly retreated into the mansion’s sky, her nose wrinkling into a fine line, then she downed the wine in one gulp.

"Even when a beauty throws herself at the door, he doesn’t care. He truly is a Big Mosquito at heart," Daphne exhaled a breath smelling of alcohol.

Flying through space, Jia Yan could naturally sense Daphne’s words below and he could only bitterly smile.

"That’s right, I am just a Big Mosquito. Even if I have an avatar that looks human, I’m still nothing more than a Big Mosquito."

Jia Yan shook his head, trying not to think too much.

Matters of affection between a man and a woman had long been set aside by Jia Yan; all he now desired was to pursue the pinnacle of strength.

Moreover, even though Daphne was one of the first creatures he encountered since revival, his personality did not match hers at all. So even backing down ten thousand steps, Jia Yan would never have anything happen between them.

"I’m not that kind of guy," Jia Yan jested with himself, grinning.

The next moment, he entered the space cabin.

"My next goal is the Auster Empire!"

A glint sparkled in his Compound Eyes as he pressed the activation button for the space cabin.
