Chapter 1066: Chapter 38: An Incredibly Huge Backpack?! [First Update, Please Subscribe]
"The Essence Blood collection is complete, let’s leave this planet; I’ve truly had enough of this place."
After the Light and Shadow spoke, its floating form lashed its tail!
Boom boom boom boom boom!!!!!!!————————
In the heaven and earth, a terrifying fluctuation suddenly exploded.
An imposing Shadow, almost capable of suppressing the entire area, slowly rose from the dirt...
Under Jia Yan’s gaze, a terrifying dark figure rose as if it were a supreme beast erupting from the ground, ferociously coming into the world!
This was a precision machine that could unquestionably shock Jia Yan, with its odd design, stable and flat appearance, sharp at both ends, and although it lacked much aesthetic appeal, it bore a pitch-black surface, similar to a flat train.
But its size was beyond that of a train, with a width reaching five kilometers, and a length of ten kilometers. As it rose from the Underground World, it was like a huge mountain ascending, nearly obscuring the sunlight and shaking the hearts of people.
"Is this... a Battleship? It doesn’t seem like it," Jia Yan muttered to himself, somewhat dumbfounded as he looked at the colossal object.
"Hehe, you think this is a Battleship? Wrong, this is the Master’s Giant Backpack," the Light and Shadow replied to Jia Yan with a smirk.
"Uh... Backpack?" Jia Yan choked on his words, almost gasping for air.
A Backpack? It was larger than any Battleship he had ever seen; just by looking at its exterior and the quality of the metal, one could tell its defensive power was many times stronger than a typical Battleship—this was just a Backpack?
Jia Yan was speechless, but then he thought it made sense. The corpse of the Senior Monster was an enormous fifty kilometers; this ten-kilometer Metal Monster could indeed just be his Backpack. But saying it out loud could actually scare people to death!
"That’s right, this is the Master’s Backpack. But don’t underestimate it. Not only does it have the capabilities of a regular Battleship, but it can also carry passengers. Its offensive and defensive abilities far exceed the imagination of ordinary living beings. After all, this is a tool that has battled alongside my Master. In some situations, the Master even used it as a weapon," the Light and Shadow said, looking at the rising Metal Monster with a thunderous sound, revealing a mix of pride and nostalgia.
"Used as a weapon? To be used by a Stellar Level presence as a weapon, how powerful it must be!" Jia Yan said, quickly looking at the ascending Metal Monster with shining eyes.
"Don’t think too much about it. The Backpack was damaged during my Master’s final period. I’m barely able to activate it now, and repairing it is not such a simple task. Until you have the ability to repair it, consider it a Battleship. Of course, it will be one of the strongest Battleships in this Lagging Star Field!"
Hearing the Light and Shadow’s words, Jia Yan felt a bit regretful, but it made sense. He thought about it, and decided not to be too upset; after all, the so-called ’damaged’ Giant Backpack already far exceeded any of his own Battleships!
"Now, there’s no worry about how to transport the Essence Blood!"
Jia Yan had just been wondering how to take away the Essence Blood collected by the Light and Shadow. He didn’t have the ability to carry such immense amounts of Essence Blood and escape the pursuit of the Lord Level Three-headed Monsters. But now, seeing the rising Giant Backpack, he immediately understood; the Light and Shadow had already prepared a way to leave.
"Alright, let’s go, let’s go. I’ve really had enough of this place." The Light and Shadow said with a light laugh, and with a flick of its tail, the surface of the Giant Metal Backpack suddenly revealed a hatch amid the resounding booms.
The Essence Blood, which had been floating under the support of something similar to Brainwave Power, began flying towards the open hatch on its own.
"Young man, stop staring, come inside," the Light and Shadow said, its voice reaching Jia Yan, who was still lost in amazement.
"Alright." Jia Yan quickly responded, and the Giant Mosquito’s body moved, rushing into the hatch.
Inside this so-called Backpack, the interior was incredibly vast; it was just a huge, empty space segmented into areas similar to ’pockets’. For Jia Yan, it felt uncomfortably spacious!
He, as a Giant Mosquito, could almost fly around this place to train his body, an experience of interior spaciousness in a flying vessel that he had never encountered before.
And this terrifyingly huge Metal Monster was just a Backpack for a Starry Sky Top Strong One; thinking about it gave some idea of how awe-inspiring that figure must have been at his peak!
"Let’s go."
As Jia Yan surveyed the space inside the Backpack, the ubiquitous virtual echo of the Light and Shadow reappeared. Jia Yan noticed that the figure seemed to solidify a bit, presumably gaining some support from within the Metal Backpack.
Jia Yan naturally didn’t resist leaving the place. Seeing that there was no other business, the Light Shadow Monster flicked its tail, and then the entire space began to vibrate thunderously.
Click!
The hatch Jia Yan had entered through closed, and the entire space darkened.
However, the darkness didn’t last long as the space promptly lit up. After all, apart from being a gigantic Monster’s Backpack, the initial design must have also considered accommodating the survival of life.
Air appeared in space, and the gravity suitable for Jia Yan also emerged.
A light screen appeared before Jia Yan, allowing him to see the outside world.
Boom Boom Boom!!
The ground shook, and all the Chaos Fruits near the valley saw that giant black metal object floating in the sky, kicking up a trail of dust and dirt, and some even saw that very monster which had wreaked havoc in their holy land fly right into it.
They tried to stop it, but they had no power to resist. Now they could only watch helplessly as the flying monster disappeared before their eyes.
"Gaga gaga!" Each and every Chaos Fruit was furious and wanted to pounce, but not one could attack under the ubiquitous pressure.
They could only watch in despair as that colossal, unmatched metal creature slowly ascended, shaking the whole Underground World as it did. Countless pebbles flew in every direction, and then, the monster actually just burrowed through the topsoil!
Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom!
This terrifying monster seemed to penetrate the star’s hard crust effortlessly, continuously ascending into the sky.
The entire space vibrated violently, for all the Chaos Fruits, this was a nightmarish scene akin to the sky falling and the earth splitting.
The fearsome Metal Monster rose swiftly, the space it passed through immediately filled with sand and gravel to repair the hole it burrowed through.
Ssssssssh! Even this tunneling caused a significant collapse of the underground space, but fortunately, this didn’t lead to any large-scale catastrophe, so the safety of those Chaos Fruits wasn’t in great danger.
"Gaga gaga!"
After everything had settled and the vibrations above had dissipated, only then did one Star Space Level presence among the Chaos Fruits let out a high-pitched howl of grief, as if lamenting the future fate of the Chaos Fruits.
However, it quickly noticed something unusual.
Where the original valley had been, amid a pile of collapsed ruins, a small hill still stood tall.
"Gaga gaga!" The Star Space Level Chaos Fruit rushed over with extreme joy. Upon hearing its shouts, all the Chaos Fruits looked towards the standing area with immense surprise.
"Gaga gaga gaga!" All the Chaos Fruits didn’t care whether this was Jia Yan, the monster’s act of mercy towards them, they just emitted cries of sheer joy.
Only the Chaos Fruit that had led the group to this Underground World space now looked at the only remaining heart of the valley with a thoughtful expression.
Boom boom boom boom...
Leaving aside the Chaos Fruit tribe below and whether they could survive without the majority of the valley’s Light Stones, let’s talk about the massive ’Backpack Battleship’ above.
"Master, this Backpack Battle Armor has quite the origin. In order to craft it, you expended tremendous effort, taking nearly a hundred years to complete it. Its formal name is ’Adisa.’ Initially, you created it based on the functionalities of Armor, but unexpectedly, your strength progressed too rapidly, and the Battle Armor ended up only serving as a backpack. I see that your path isn’t just about growing larger; in the future, at the Stellar level, you might fully utilize it as Armor too."
"Adisa, huh? I hope one day I’ll be able to wear it," Jia Yan looked around the space and nodded uncertainly.
Knowing that he could now live comfortably in this vast space, the future prospect of wearing it as Armor, even confident as he was, seemed a bit too much to consider!
Boom boom boom.
Jia Yan had been watching the outside world through the screen, hearing the continuous collisions in space, the underground pebbles splitting apart, and then crushed under Adisa’s pressure, turned into fine sand and pushed aside.
Adisa, which gave even Jia Yan a headache in dealing with the Giant Star’s soil, moved forward undaunted as if it were bulldozing old trees.
This vast Metal Monster seemed to move slowly but advanced incredibly quickly.
And then, about ten minutes into the forward journey!
Boom!!
Jia Yan felt a slight tremor and quickly looked at the screen, only to see the outside world fully covered in the misty surface of the land.
"To have broken through thousands of kilometers of tough underground space in just ten minutes?" Jia Yan was astonished at the sight in the screen, amazed by Adisa’s potent force; after all, he had initially heard that this was just a predecessor Strong One’s backpack and had doubted its capabilities.
Now it seemed, items belonging to a Starry Sky Top Strong One truly lived up to being from one of the Strong Ones, with such formidable power.
