Though this force wasn’t frightening enough to cause it terror, the Chaos Fruit, seemingly scared, hastily gave up its attempt to burrow, pivoting on its large feet and scrambling off to one side of the ground.

It was quick to burrow, but its running speed was mediocre. As it scurried a little distance away, Jia Yan and Souwu were already closing in on it.

Just as the Chaos Fruit was about to burrow again, Souwu’s special equipment was completely drained of energy. This was a device Souwu had devoted significant effort to constructing specifically for the Chaos mist area, capable of momentarily solidifying and vibrating a specific area of the ground in the mist zone, but it couldn’t be activated again in a short span.
