Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito
Chapter 1042 - 14 Avatar Materials?

Chapter 1042: Chapter 14 Avatar Materials?

There was no way for Mosquito and the soldiers, who had never seen this place before, not to be astounded.

What lay before the entire fleet was a terrifying planetary body that seemed almost boundless, appearing to be more massive than a star itself!

Yet, the composition of this planet was similar to that of Earth-like planets. It’s a well-known theory that such a huge member should not exist within Earth-like planets; this one completely exceeded their understanding.

Even Mosquito, a visitor from an extraterrestrial domain who had seen many strange phenomena, was dumbfounded by the peculiarity of this planet, feeling an inexplicable shock.

This planet had an approximate diameter of 1.5 million kilometers, making it larger than the Sun in Mosquito’s mother galaxy.

Theoretically, such a massive celestial body should not exist, as its enormity would inevitably lead to gravitational collapse, turning it into a black hole or something akin to a white dwarf star.

But against all odds, the planet was there, displayed before everyone’s eyes.

"The gravitational force on the planet’s surface is only five times that of Earth! This is simply impossible!" Mosquito thought, astounded as he looked at the data mapped out by the remote sensors on the battleship.

Even without extensive astronomical knowledge, Mosquito knew from general physical science that for such a fearsome celestial body, to exist and to have a surface gravity only five times that of Earth was nearly an impossibility!

"Lord, allow me to explain. This mysterious place, due to the spatial anomalies everywhere, has formed a curious balance here. That’s why it can become so huge. A massive celestial body like this could only exist in similar locations."

Mo Ke’s voice reached Mosquito’s ears, clarifying his confusion.

Before long, the entire fleet began to assemble.

Over three hundred ships in space looked like densely packed ants, forming a magnificent and imposing array.

At the center of the over three hundred ships was a colossal vessel spanning two kilometers, a Camp-Level Spaceship of the Kuditian People, fitted with offensive and defensive weaponry. It slowly became the command center of the entire fleet. Its combat capability might not be much greater than an ordinary battleship’s, but its unique status made it the center of attention.

Now, within the Camp-Level Spaceship, Mosquito, along with Kama, Harrora, and other high-ranking members of the Giant Mosquito Fleet, were holding a high command meeting.

Looking down at nearly a thousand various life forms that comprised the captains and first officers of each ship, Mosquito felt somewhat dazed. He had never expected that he would one day command such a vast fleet.

In reality, within civilized societies where the Strong Ones prevail, such scenes were common. For ordinary life forms, the existence of Strong Ones couldn’t be compensated by technology alone. Being a Strong One meant that there was likely a powerful force attached to them, and the representation of a powerful force was a fleet!

Truth be told, Mosquito’s Giant Mosquito Fleet, compared to other powerful forces, was still rather small. Like Mosquito himself, any Peak of Starry Sky existence could muster such a group. However, what set Mosquito apart was that it wasn’t easy for other Strong Ones to randomly assemble a group with two capable deputy commanders; while ordinary captains were easy to find, experienced top-tier commanders were a rarity.

Moreover, Mosquito’s recent recruits from Lord Rong Bo’s subordinates had even richer combat experience. Teamed with Mo Ke, an excellent leader, this substantially eased the Giant Mosquito Fleet’s future expansion. Three hundred well-equipped battleships were not a small force in the outside world. Ignoring the peak Starry Sky Level strength of Mosquito, even sometimes a top force would be wary of three hundred such warships.

Mosquito then felt as if he had stumbled upon such a colossal fleet. The Big Mosquito, who had always been a lone wolf, found it somewhat overwhelming to adapt all at once.

"I’m really fortunate that so many are willing to follow me, a hands-off shopkeeper." Mosquito, observing the assembled captains and first officers of the ships, finally came to realize how profound an influence a Strong One could have on a force. Without doing anything, one could possess such a large fleet. This was the charm of a top-tier Strong One.

For the entire fleet, a Strong One like Mosquito was an incredibly great support. A top Starry Sky Strong on their own couldn’t easily contend with a mighty fleet, but the situation changed if that Strong One had the support of another fleet. This was also why Mosquito had easily been able to slaughter the Rong Bo Fleet, which had lost Lord Rong Bo, seven times over with the aid of the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

"Alright, now the fleet has arrived in the most significant and mysterious region of the Chaos Starfield. I’m sure all captains are already aware. On our journey, this Mysterious Planet is a critical link. Another Strong One from our fleet must also acquire the Life-Extension Stone here."

"This gathering isn’t for anything particular, besides instructing you all to be prepared, I’d also like to consult with everyone," he said. "Many of you were subordinates under Lord Rong Bo, so if there are any secrets about this place, no matter how trivial, please speak to me. I thank you all in advance."

Jia Yan was in the very front amongst all the high-ranking officials; the largest module of the camp-level spaceship, which was crowded with nearly a thousand people, could hardly contain him. Hence, Big Mosquito had no choice but to retreat to one side of the area, with hardly any place to stand.

"Lord, I didn’t enter last time, but my spaceship was one of Lord Rong Bo’s transport ships, so I’m somewhat aware of the gains Lord Rong Bo made there," said a three-meter-tall creature that looked like a spider as it stood up, trying to curry favor with Jia Yan.

"Lord, my ship was also one of them, and I know the treasures inside like the back of my hand."

"Mine wasn’t bad either, I remember some of his treasures were stored on my vessel."

Following the Spider Captain’s lead, other captains eager to ingratiate themselves stood up one by one. These captains had all previously surrendered, so naturally, they could not have been very loyal to Rong Bo, and to Jia Yan, a more powerful starry sky-level existence than Rong Bo, they were undoubtedly more eager to curry favor. After all, in the future, they each hoped for a good position under his command.

Anyone could see Jia Yan’s youth and prospects; it wouldn’t be surprising if, in a few years, such a young strong one emerged among the god-like stellar-level existences. If they didn’t distinguish themselves under his command now, they feared it would be even harder in the future!

"Alright, you tell me, what kind of treasures did Rong Bo take from there at that time?" Jia Yan asked the Spider Captain.

Amid envy and disdain from his peers, the Spider Captain excitedly shook the steel hairs on its body, revealing fluctuations that showed it was a heavenly peak-level strong one. Among the Giant Mosquito Fleet, where strong ones were scarce, it was one of the more powerful.

"Lord, my battleship transported a batch of supernatural alloy stones, heavy metals containing titanium elements, pure lithium ores, and those mysterious local life-extension stones, among others."

The Spider Monster reported the items one by one, and as it listed each one, some captains eager for credit became displeased. After all, the cargo of every transport ship at that time had been almost the same, and what the Spider Captain listed was what they had also transported.

"Lord Jia Yan, there are two kinds of materials on my ship that are different from theirs," spoke up a species that looked somewhat similar to humans, resembling a gorilla. He was the captain of an original Rong Bo battleship and currently held the same position within the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

"Oh? What did you transport?" Jia Yan inquired, already having some clue about the materials from that mysterious place but asking somewhat absentmindedly.

"I transported a batch of top-grade materials that were incredibly precious even on that mysterious planet, materials suitable for use as avatars for Peak of Starry Sky Strong ones! When I transported them out, I even saw with my own eyes how Rong Bo sold them at a high price to the ten strong ones," said the Gorilla Monster in a somewhat breathy voice.

"What?!" Jia Yan looked up, somewhat astonished. He was already aware of incredible items like the life-extension stones, so he wasn’t surprised by them. But now, hearing that avatar materials for the ten strong ones, which he had been calculating, actually originated from here, naturally, he was astonished.

But after the astonishment came joy!

"Heh heh, your information is very useful. In the future, if a new fleet is formed, you’ll be the highest commander. Kama, make a note of it," said Jia Yan, delighted.

"Okay, Captain Ke, you’ve earned a merit. If a new fleet forms in the future, you’ll be considered first. Congratulations, Captain Ke!" Kama stood by Jia Yan’s side and addressed Ke.

"Ha-ha, thank you, Lord Jia Yan. Thank you, Marshal Kama!" The Gorilla-faced monster quickly saluted Jia Yan in surprise and then saluted Kama as well.

"Uh..." The only one who got nothing was the Spider Captain, who looked somewhat frustrated, but he wasn’t disheartened. At least he had made an appearance in front of the rarely seen Jia Yan. He believed that the next time there was an opportunity, he would be promoted.

Of course, the meeting involved more than just the exploration of treasures; it also included research and resolution of problems discovered by the entire fleet.

Had Rong Bo still been alive to see the Giant Mosquito Fleet conducting such an inconsequential meeting in the most dangerous region of the Chaos Starfield, which he had feared incredibly, he might have spat blood in frustration. What kind of relaxed attitude was this? In his time here, he had felt nothing but overwhelming dread of the unknown, nothing like the Giant Mosquito Fleet’s current picnic-like demeanor!

Obviously, the Giant Mosquito Fleet’s mood was not without reason. It was not only because many of its members had visited here as part of Rong Bo’s fleet, but more so because of Jia Yan’s ability to avert disaster, which greatly limited casualties within the entire fleet.
