Chapter 1004: Chapter 24: What Do You Think? [Please Subscribe]

The Giant Mosquito Fleet, though numbering over eight thousand in total life, seemed somewhat stretched thin across nearly a hundred ordinary battleships.

Inevitably, the fleet, in its nascent phase, was marked by an excess of ships but a shortage of manpower. The better talents were unwilling to join, and employing subpar personnel would merely squander resources without helping the situation, leading to this dilemma.

Fortunately, with just under a hundred battleships, the eight thousand managed to operate them—each of them possessing at least Earth Level ability, ensuring they wouldn’t crash the battleships into interstellar material—making them up to standard.

Still, the establishment of the Giant Mosquito Fleet was a done deal!

Today, the starry sky was buzzing with activity.

Numerous civilian spaceships and battleships sent by various forces parked in an orderly fashion not far from the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

"Today is the day the Giant Mosquito Fleet is established; surely, we’ll get to see Lord Jia Yan. All previous interviews were blocked by Lord Kama. Today, we must find a way to get a couple of words with Lord Jia Yan; otherwise, it would be a pity if this figure leaves the Chaos Galaxy without us capturing his last image!"

Reporters and interview teams were extremely excited about the fleet’s establishment and the news released by Kama that the fleet would set sail in two days. Previously, some media worried that this sudden, formidable figure, who stood apart from the rest of the ten strongest, would wreak havoc in the Chaos Galaxy, rallying a team to battle the ten strongest and turning the entire galaxy into a battlefield.

Fortunately, it seems Lord Jia Yan is good-hearted, at least according to his spokesperson Lord Kama, who said that Lord Jia Yan considered the common people of this galaxy, refraining from sparking a catastrophic war here. He even gave up his interests here and moved to the Northern Star Domain.

If Jia Yan knew how Kama defended him, he’d likely be stunned. When had he ever said those things?

"Our task today is to get an interview with Lord Jia Yan. However, no one fully grasps this lord’s temperament and personality; we just know that his power is certainly on par with Tian Wu, the strongest of the ten. So we must be respectful, lest our actions cause this strong one to change his mind, committing a grave sin!" said a media leader, briefing several reporters.

Soon, this sea of reporters and various fleet ships received the signal.

The fleet, surrounded by numerous vessels and having fewer in number compared to the peripheral ships, began to move!

Not long after, a neatly arranged fleet formation appeared in the starry sky.

"Move, Vessel Thirty, you’ve fallen slightly behind."

"Vessel Five, your angle of tilt is off."

Signals like these passed through the major battleships. There were indeed many minor issues within the fleet, but fortunately, these temporarily assembled crew members generally had no significant operational problems, quickly adjusting the fleet into somewhat of a presentable state.

At least to the distant onlookers, including the reporters, the aligned fleet left them utterly speechless in awe!

How could these commoners have ever seen a hundred battleships move so uniformly like an arm’s natural movement?

"Heh, although there are some flaws, this newly formed Giant Mosquito Fleet does look impressive," commented a high-tier star-space emissary from Tianwu Forces inside one battleship, acknowledging the fleet’s performance as one of the strongest beings in this entire starry sky other than Jia Yan.

After all, only recently founded, to whip this barely consolidated fleet into this shape within mere days was no small feat for the fleet’s leader.

Shortly thereafter, a hundred battleships moved into a circular formation, their bows facing outwards, main cannons directed at onlooking ships, causing reporters and members of regular forces in ordinary ships to shudder in anxiety. Who knew whether the departing Giant Mosquito Fleet might suddenly decide to create a massacre before leaving?

Luckily, the Giant Mosquito Fleet did not do so, but merely formed the formation and then stayed still, the ten frontal battleships slowly making way.

These ten battleships, sent by the ten strongest, were uniform in style and even had an appealing appearance. Their operators were skilled Kuditian, making the movements particularly deft and imposing.

After making way, a massive shadow appeared to everyone present, a giant monstrous ship, familiar to anyone acquainted with recently about Jia Yan from the Desolate Star System creatures.

This was the flagship vessel used by Lord Jia Yan—the Kuditan People’s Camp Grade Spaceship!

At this moment, the Kuditan People’s Camp Grade Spaceship, having been recently refurbished materially, was like changing from a musket to a cannon. Its defense had been overhauled and, originally possessing a decent defensive capability, now equipped with a main cannon, additional auxiliary cannons, and a fresh coat of paint covering the battered hull, it looked rejuvenated and very appealing.

Now, it looked like the king among all battleships, slowly advancing towards the location of all onlookers, escorted by all the battleships.

Almost all those on the ordinary observation ships and battleships paid their respects to this enormous vessel, not so much saluting the reborn ship but offering their respects to the great being within—Lord Jia Yan!
