Shen Juan took the fare difference from the young man in the lower bunk across from her and thanked him before she climbed up to her upper bunk to organize her things.

She didn’t feel like sleeping anymore and started chatting with Luo Qiao.

Through their conversation, Luo Qiao learned that Shen Juan had been attending her cousin’s wedding and was now taking the train directly to Capital City to help her sister-in-law take care of the kids for a while and to get familiar with Capital City in advance.

After chatting for a while, the lights in the train dimmed, and they each went to sleep.

The next day, Luo Qiao woke up early and used the excuse of going to the bathroom to slip into her space. She tidied herself up and, upon returning, saw that Second Brother Luo Xuyuan had already gotten down from his bunk.

Luo Qiao nudged Shen Juan, who was still sound asleep, and said, "Get up and pack your things; we’ll be arriving at the station soon."

Shen Juan stretched and yawned, "I’m glad you woke me up; otherwise, I might have slept through my stop."

Luo Qiao chuckled, "You can’t oversleep in a sleeper car. The conductor will be coming by to check tickets soon. Hurry and get down to pack up, there will be more people washing up in a bit."

As the train sounded its long horn and slowed down to prepare to enter the station, Shen Juan finished washing up and returned to her bunk to see someone talking with Luo Qiao. It was then that Luo Qiao introduced him, "This is my Second Brother Luo Xuyuan."

She also said to the Second Brother, "This is Shen Juan, we’ve run into each other three times on the train."

Luo Xuyuan nodded to the person in acknowledgment as a greeting.

The train slowly entered the station, and from her car, Luo Qiao immediately spotted Lu Yichen among the crowd.

It was as if Lu Yichen had a psychic connection; he walked towards the carriage Luo Qiao was in. Once the train came to a stop, the three of them got off together.

Luo Xuyuan hadn’t expected Lu Yichen to come pick them up. Although he felt Lu Yichen wasn’t good enough for his sister, since she had made her choice, he wasn’t going to give him a hard time on purpose.

Luo Qiao smiled after getting off the train and said, "Didn’t I tell you there was no need to pick us up?"

Lu Yichen replied, "It won’t delay my work this morning. Let’s go out for breakfast first, then I’ll drop you off."

Luo Qiao introduced Shen Juan to him with an open and friendly attitude, "This is my boyfriend, Lu Yichen."

She added, "And this is Shen Juan, we met on the train."

Lu Yichen put away the affectionate look on his face and nodded to Shen Juan, then continued talking to Luo Qiao.

As the group left the station, someone came to pick up Shen Juan as well, so she bid farewell to Luo Qiao and left.

Lu Yichen then took Luo Qiao and her uncle to a nearby place for breakfast before finally taking them home.

After they arrived, Lu Yichen didn’t go in but just had a few words with Luo Qiao and her uncle before driving away.

As the siblings entered the courtyard, they saw Big Brother helping Grandpa slaughter a chicken.

Luo Xuyan looked up and saw them, "Qiaoqiao, Xuyuan, you guys are back."

He didn’t forget to shout into the house, "Grandma, Qiaoqiao and Xuyuan are back!"

Luo Qiao, seeing Luo Daoren with his hands full of chicken feathers, said, "Grandpa, I’m back, did you miss me?"

Luo Daoren’s face lit up with a smile when he saw his granddaughter returning, "It’s good to be back; now you can finally stay put in the Capital City."

After Luo Xuyan’s shout, he turned to Luo Qiao and Xuyuan and said, "Come inside, the chicken will be ready soon, and Grandma is going to make chicken soup."

Woo Yunmei, hearing the commotion downstairs, also came down and said, "Qiaoqiao, you guys are finally back. Your Big Brother has been mentioning you the past few days."

Luo Qiao replied with a smile, "We’re back. Big Sister-in-law, your school must be on holiday now, right?"

Woo Yunmei nodded, "Yes, we’re on holiday."

Zhou Guifang also came out of the kitchen with a smile, "You’re finally back."

Luo Qiao went over and hugged her grandmother, "Now that I’ll be studying in the Capital, I might not be able to come back every day, but at least I’ll be able to come and see you and Grandpa every now and then."

The family entered the house laughing and joking, and Zhou Guifang said, "Now that’s something Grandma loves to hear. Rest assured, Grandpa and I won’t hold you two back. Just come accompany us when you have time; we’re content."

After entering the house, Luo Qiao turned to her Big Brother, "Big Brother, you seem to be in a good mood. You must have done well on your exams."

Luo Xuyan laughed, "I did everything I knew how to do, so I shouldn’t have any big problems."
