Luo Qiao and Lu Yichen stood by the car, watching as everyone got off, then they helped close the car door and left the place.

As they prepared to pass by the bus station up ahead, they planned to send a message to the station. Someone from the station had to come and drive the car away, leaving it here was not a solution.

The two walked out of the hospital, just to hear that strange woman still complaining about today’s losses. Her son said, "Are you ever going to stop? Isn’t it more convenient to get off here? Lu Yichen replied, "No worries, what I have to do isn’t urgent. Let’s first check what needs fixing in the house. It’s good to know what to expect and I can deal with my stuff en route to buying the materials."

He had business to attend to in town today, but going later would be fine.

When they reached the house, Lu Yichen remarked, "This place is really close to City No. 1 Middle School. The environment’s not bad either."

He thought to himself that what was most important was that it wasn’t too far from his own apartment. This way, he could come over for a meal; ever since he had tasted Luo Qiao’s cooking, he had lost any desire to eat his own.

Upon opening the courtyard door, they both inspected the yard. Luo Qiao was right; there wasn’t much that needed fixing. It was evident that the former owner had taken great care of the house.
