Seeing that a cart full of items had been brought to Luo Qiao’s house, everyone was green with envy and anxious to know exactly what was on the cart.

Luo Qiao opened the door, letting them in, and said, "I don’t have any cups, so I won’t pour you water, but the cucumbers I’ve grown are quite good. I’ll wash a few for you to taste."

The party secretary and the brigade leader helped carry the stuff into the kitchen, and just as Luo Qiao had finished washing the cucumbers, she filled a basin with water and let everyone wash their hands before handing out a cucumber to each person.

The party secretary and the brigade leader had other matters to attend to, so they left the cart behind and took their leave, telling Luo Qiao that she could just return the cart to the brigade headquarters after using it.

Luo Qiao thanked them and saw them out the door before coming back.

She said, "Please have a seat in the courtyard for a while, I’ll go prepare some things for you."

First, she went to the backyard where she used her Special Ability to ripen some of the melons she had grown. Finally, she took three fish out from the kitchen, but then there was the problem of how to transport them. So, she turned to Qiao Yu, "Do you have a bucket for adding water to the tank in your car?"

"Scoop up these fish and later pour them into your bucket."

After loading the items onto the cart, she locked the door and headed to where the cars were parked to load the items onto the vehicle. Qiao Yu handed Luo Qiao a piece of paper with their three names, their work units, addresses, and phone numbers.

Seeing that Luo Qiao was reluctant to take it, Qiao Yu said, "Keep it, just in case you need help, then you can call the numbers on there."

Qiao Aihong said, "Luo Qiao, if you have time to come into the city, you must come visit me. I’ll treat you to something tasty."

Qiao Yu brought over the water bucket from the car and poured the fish into it. The car was packed full, with items even placed on the seats in the back row.

Another woman added, "Dream on." Everyone in the warehouse laughed.
