Luo Qiao opened her backpack and took out three hundred dollars: "This is all I have on me, take it."

She didn’t know whether Zhang Jing was telling the truth or not, but thought of checking the situation tomorrow. If it was as he said, she would give him some more. After all, they were compatriots, both studying abroad, and they should help each other out.

Luo Qiao asked: "Is it serious? Which hospital is she in?"

The two professors, who had come to mooch a meal, watched how everyone else ate and quickly got the hang of it. After eating, they gave the thumbs up: "Absolutely delicious."

The next noon, Luo Qiao left early and saw Lu Yichen waiting inside the doorway with a thermos as she came downstairs.
