Lu Ningzhou left, and Lu Yichen also went out with his wife and daughter. Luo Qiao didn’t ask about the people from yesterday, and neither did Lu Yichen. He was only thinking about taking them out for a good time today.

The weather was nice today, and the family first went to the park. Yanyan clamored for a boat ride, so Lu Yichen bought tickets and lined up, repeatedly cautioning them not to move around on the boat because it could easily tip over and they might fall into the lake.

Once on the boat, the two children were obedient, but they kept wanting to touch the water in the lake. Unfortunately, their arms were too short, so they had to rely on the adults’ help. The two sisters even sang songs they had learned at kindergarten, filling the boat with laughter and songs.

He then stood up and dove into the water. The small boat rocked violently, almost tipping Yueyue into the water, who wasn’t on her guard.

Luo Qiao quickly reached out her hand, pulling the frightened Yueyue into her embrace, and drawing Yanyan into her other arm, squeezing them tight with her legs to prevent them from falling into the lake, her hands gripping the side of the boat.

Looking at her daughter’s concerned expression, Luo Qiao softened, but still said, "We’ll go to the restaurant and order our food. He’ll come to find us after he’s finished. If we go late, there won’t be any seats left, and we won’t get to eat something tasty."

Yanyan was conflicted, her little face showing a range of emotions, which eased Luo Qiao’s anger considerably. In the end, Luo Qiao made the decision for her and led her away.

Luo Qiao took her two children straight to Old Mo’s, ordered a salad, some bread, and grilled sausages to be served first.

Then she ordered a tin of stewed beef, cream-roasted mix, red-stewed lamb intestines, two steaks, and because the weather was nice, broke the rule and ordered a serving of ice cream for everyone.

After all, they were just kids, and the two little ones had already pushed thoughts of their dad to the back of their minds.
