Chapter 630: 349 Call Daddy!_3

"President Shen, my male god!"

"I support President Jiang!"

Shen Zhixi and Jiang Feng were both among the best-looking in China’s consortiums. Especially Shen Zhixi, a cold-faced yet kind-hearted philanthropist whose beauty blurred gender lines. If it weren’t for his noble status, he would definitely be the visual focus in a boy band—the archetype of a beautiful but deadly character.

Although Jiang Feng was middle-aged, he wasn’t the least bit greasy. Even though his fame couldn’t match that of his younger brother, there were still plenty of young ladies who called him the handsomest national uncle in private.

Both men, dressed in suits, rose from the center stage on a lift.

The scene was definitely pleasing to the eye.

The cheers from the audience were no less than when a superstar made an appearance.

Jiang Feng entered the exhibition area of the East China University of Science and Technology and sat down beside Paul.

Shen Zhixi, on the other hand, maneuvered his wheelchair over to Silver Fox.

Lu Beibei had specially dressed Silver Fox in clothes today, borrowing a French-style little suit complete with a white bow tie from a photo studio last night on a whim. It had the air of a high-class attendant.

It was a clear dig at yesterday’s judges who based their scores on the completeness of appearance.

The audience laughed and heckled, while the judges pretended not to grasp the subtlety.

Xia Ye and Simon each took their seats at the control consoles, and another round of screams erupted from below.

In order for the judges to score more effectively, the two teams proceeded to give separate presentations.

The host said that the presentation order would be decided by the experience officers. Normally, the bosses would politely defer to each other, but Jiang Feng was the first to speak up, "If Mr. Shen doesn’t mind, shall we from Beijing University go first?"

Shen Zhixi looked at him with a faint gaze and, after a few seconds, lifted his hand in a gesture of invitation.

The order was thus decided.

Simon made the final adjustments and slowly exhaled.

Jiang Feng called for Paul according to the process rehearsed with his team members earlier, and the presentation from East China University began.

Within half an hour, Paul demonstrated skills that could almost replace a flesh-and-blood butler.

He could switch lights on and off, bake simply, and assist the master in fetching items, among a series of functions.

Truly versatile.

And Jiang Feng, holding a teacup in one hand and enjoying Paul’s services, looked very much like a tycoon from an early Hong Kong film.

The bell rang, indicating the presentation time had ended.

Paul’s series of movements were smooth and pleasing to watch.

The judges nodded in approval repeatedly.

After a brief interlude for the stage to be set, the host turned to Xia Ye, "Now, please make the final adjustments on behalf of Beijing University and nod to me when ready."

Xia Ye had already made the adjustments earlier, and now she checked them once more.

She raised her hand and nodded to the host. The host announced the start of Beijing University’s presentation, and the elegantly dressed attendant Silver Fox activated.

According to Shen Zhixi’s instructions, he first moved Shen Zhixi from his previous wheelchair to another one set aside.

If it weren’t for Xia Ye, Shen Zhixi would never have agreed to such a demonstration. Even if he didn’t care, he wouldn’t have wanted to display the fact of his leg disability and inability to move in front of a television audience.

Following this, Silver Fox pushed the wheelchair, taking Shen Zhixi for a stroll on the S-shaped path the show’s crew had set up.

The path, just a dozen meters long, didn’t seem remarkable at first glance, but it contained many intricacies.

Silver Fox had environmental sensors, which enabled it to automatically sense its surroundings. It would actively steer the master away from overly sunny spots or areas with garden sprinklers. Moreover, when the wheelchair reached steps, a metal plate automatically unfolded from Silver Fox’s lower leg. The plate would adjust its slope based on the height of the steps, assisting the wheelchair in ascending them.

Unlike Paul, whose actions required Jiang Feng’s commands, this series of intelligent decisions by Silver Fox was based on its own will, processed through various sensors.

But that was not all; next, Silver Fox demonstrated to all the viewers inside and outside the venue what a high-tech, super-intelligent lifestyle looked like.

Upon concluding the stroll and returning indoors, Silver Fox conducted a quick scan of its master’s body and proactively asked if he was thirsty, even calculating the optimum water temperature for him at the moment.

However, when Shen Zhixi said he wanted hot water, Silver Fox quickly made the adjustment.

"This is what artificial intelligence is about, Silver Fox is amazing!"

"Yeah, if it only does what you tell it to do, what’s the difference from hiring a real-life butler?"

The audience’s opinion was one-sided, and Simon looked visibly tense.

As the presentation neared its end, Jiang Feng, having returned to the audience seats, pinched his teacup and his gaze shifted to the staff below, though it wasn’t clear on whom it rested.

He narrowed his eyes and tapped the side of the teacup at regular intervals three times.
