"Thank you, Your Majesty. It was all thanks to your support. I am currently stuck, though, so I can help if there’s something I can do..." Ivan was restless with not doing anything.

[Why is he still asking for more tasks?! Can’t he just leave this to us?]

It was Alwin, but Arabella did not mention him in case there were more spies.

Ivan and Alwin would be a good pair because their complicated minds work alike.

They reached the conference hall, and Ivan no longer had the chance to ask more as the Marquess ushered them in.

His colleagues sighed in relief that none of the major tasks assigned to them were transferred to Ivan.

’I guess I have to look for another project for Ivan after the research. Or we could focus on the hearing first so his former superior will finally be punished accordingly.’

Because Ivan was not present to defend himself, the hearing of his superior had not been held yet, but an investigation into it had been going on.

Arabella decided to keep Ivan at work in her office after his work here is done, so he can attend the hearings.

Rendell pulled a chair for Arabella, and she sat first so everyone else could sit down.

Just from this meeting alone, they were able to gather almost all the information they needed for the projects they planned to implement in Sibruh.

However, they still needed to cross-reference or verify it with the locals, merchants, and nobles to see various perspectives about the matter.

The meeting was fruitful since Marquess and his family were cooperative and provided whatever information or connections they needed.

The next task was to gather information outside the palace.

Arabella then allowed her assistants to roam around Sibruh as long as they had guards or knights with them.

To give them more chances to grow, she let her assistants gather information for the projects assigned to them.

As for Arabella, she also did her tasks regarding the construction projects.
