Arabella was also relieved that he was not serious about using dirty tactics to make Ferdinand bend.
[She’s smiling. Her brother’s reply must have been good.]
"Did it bear good news?" Alwin inquired.
"Yes, my older brother said not to worry since it was only a prank," Arabella assured Alwin.
She did not give more details since they were not supposed to reveal the details of the prank to other people since it might make things complicated.
If her maids hear about it, they would be shocked.
"Did he say something else that makes Your Majesty smile brightly?" Alwin further inquired.
[His Eminence’s voice is so nice!] Irene and Carla loved Alwin’s voice.
[Why does he have to ask such details in front of everyone?] Blanca was stopping herself from frowning.
[I understand that they have become close but is it alright for him to know about Her Majesty’s personal affairs?] Eunice was surprised at Alwin’s questions.
They did not know that such a thing was common and got even worse when it was just the two of them and no one else was listening.
"Yes, he said I should just enjoy married life and live my life to the fullest," Arabella smiled as she folded her letter.
[Her Majesty’s brother is so nice and responsible. I wish I had an older brother too.] Blanca thought. She was standing several steps behind Arabella so she had a glance of the contents of the letter.
Blanca did not read the whole thing since she knew she shouldn’t but she was already impressed on the part she saw.
’He is quite nice indeed,’ Arabella smiled.
Benjamin had been a reliable brother to her since she was little. She only grew blinded by her circumstances in her past life and stopped seeing how much they cared about her.
She was also relieved that Benjamin was not thinking of letting Loisa get an arranged marriage. Loisa could easily ask for it now since she had not tried falling in love yet. But once she does, an arranged marriage would be heartbreaking for her.
Arabella also wished that Benjamin could marry for love, but if that was not possible, she hoped he would marry someone whom he could get along with.
"I’ll write a reply to him promptly. Please fetch my magic pen and paper," Arabella said and Eunice got them for her.
Arabella would go back to work once lunch was over so she wanted to finish personal matters while she was resting.

Dear Brother,
I will always be your Little Ella. I may have grown up now but I will treasure our memories together.
Thank you very much for taking care of me all these years.
Even with my memories a mess, you kept me safe and allowed me to grow healthy as I am now.
I am always grateful for all your efforts for me and our family.
I feel blessed to have you as my older brother.
As you wish, I shall live my life to the fullest and only help Lobelius when I think it is truly necessary.
Further, I am glad that you were not serious in using shady tactics on my husband.
He is indeed loving and kind to me and I am grateful for that so please do not misuse it.
I have spoken with him about the matter with you training with one of his knights and he agreed when I said that whatever happens would not affect my relationship with him.
However, you will only spar and train with the Valerian knight he would assign to you to prevent any problems.
He would choose one of his most trusted knights to ensure that your safety would not be in jeopardy.
I hope you grow stronger as you wish. But I hope that the day you would have to use your own sword to protect our younger siblings would not come.
I am looking forward to seeing you and our family again.
Until then, stay healthy.
Always your little sister,
Ella

Arabella smiled in satisfaction as she re-read her letter and folded it. She placed it in an envelope and sealed it.
"Can you please send this to my older brother?" Arabella asked Alwin again.
"Yes, of course," Alwin summoned his magical messenger bird and Arabella’s maids gasped in awe except for Blanca.
Blanca had already seen it before so she was calm and collected.
"Can you begin making a plan for my first tea party?" Arabella gave her maids another task.
"Yes, Your Majesty," her maids understood she might have something important to speak about with Alwin so they quickly left.
Once they were gone, Arabella finally inquired about Ferdinand. "How are things in Sibruh? Has Ferdinand given you any update?"
[Ah, so it was about this.]
"None yet. Why? Weren’t you just with him this morning? Don’t tell me you already miss him?" Alwin glanced at the part of her neck which was covered by a necklace.
Ferdinand tried to be gentle this morning but some of his eager kisses still left a mark on her neck. She covered it with makeup and the still noticeable ones with a necklace.
Alwin had offered to heal it this morning but Arabella wanted to keep them as is and let it heal in the following days since she might not see her husband.
But that does not mean she already missed Ferdinand. Or maybe she does. But that was not why she was asking for an update.
"That’s not it. I’m asking because I want to know the situation there," Arabella corrected. "I also have to inform Ivan when he will depart for Sibruh."
"I have no updates about the territories yet so they must still be busy trying to stop it from spreading. As for the departure of the researchers, it might be as soon as this afternoon or evening since they fast tracked their preparations due to the urgency of the issue."
"I see. I’ll have Ivan informed then," Arabella noted. Shortly after, the food arrived so they began eating.
