"He was gone for two months because he was the one who went to your homeland to inform your family. He returned a few days ago with your lover and your fiancé," Arabella revealed.

She had to mention this so Evania would not be suspicious of them.

"Eh?! So, he not only knew about my past but also knew about my lover and my fiancé?!" Evania looked like she might pass out.

"Yes."

"Oh, my goodness. What should I do?! Now, I’m so ashamed to show my face to him ever again," Evania covered her face with her hands.

[Is that why he had been giving me that kind of look every time he caught me staring at him? Was he disgusted with me because of my past?!]

’Alwin is not like that. But he does dislike you because of a different past.’

Alwin was always wary of Evania because of their previous life when she manipulated Arabella. Yet, they did not know until recently that Evania was also manipulated.

"Don’t worry, he knew none of those was your fault," Arabella did not want to correct Evania’s misunderstanding since it might help the latter stop being obsessed with Alwin, but she had to since she knew what it felt like to be left in the dark.

Before Evania could reply, the two guests arrived.

"Greetings to Your Majesty. Greetings to Your Highness," Darcus and Orpheus greeted them both.

"Eh?! Lord Darcus and Lord Orpheus?" Evania blinked repeatedly and glanced at Arabella for an explanation.

"I believe you have already met them. These are the two guests Alwin brought back with him from your homeland. They are the ones who would be helping you," Arabella smiled.

"My deepest apologies for not introducing my real identity the past few days. I am Darcus, your most loyal guard and lover. I am elated to finally see you again, milady," Darcus kneeled and kissed the back of Evania’s hand.

"I am Orpheus, your official fiancé. I am overwhelmed to see you again. I deeply apologize for everything I have caused you, Princess," Orpheus also kneeled and kissed the back of Evania’s free hand.

[Eh?!! Does this mean I have to choose between these two outstanding lords?!!]

The poor girl’s face turned red, and she looked like she might pass out from excitement.

[What should I do?!! Are they really my lover and my fiancé? Is this a dream?!]

Evania glanced at Arabella for help, but the latter simply smiled.

Darcus and Orpheus were rather delighted but when they realized there were two of them here, they glanced at each other and wondered who among them made her blush that much.

"Please call me by name, milady," Darcus did not want to be addressed by Evania too formally like they were strangers.

"Please call me by my name as well," Orpheus did not want to lose. He had also been longing to hear his name from Evania again.

’My goodness. It’s like I’m watching a romance novel play out right in front of me,’ Arabella did her best to hide she was having fun watching the three. She felt like a teenager in heart and mind for the first time in a while.

{You are having too much fun. Is it really that fun watching them? Aren’t lovers irritating to watch?} Alwin entered the room as well but had used an invisibility spell, so Evania would not see him.

{Geez. Alwin, I think your elders are right. You might need to begin dating soon so you’ll understand these things. We are watching a love triangle play out right in front of us. Just thinking about who she might choose is already making my heart race. But at the same time, I’m already feeling bad for the one that ends up rejected.} Arabella had to explain to Alwin who was ignorant of romantic feelings.

’No wonder he warned he would ask a presumptuous question,’ Arabella maintained her silence as the three conversed so they could speak freely.
