Chapter 294: Deal With When It Comes

’Ugh, what use is it thinking about all these? Why am I having this kind of thought anyway? He’s always just thinking about me. What am I getting scared of? Or am I being possessive of him right now? I want him to be just mine in the past, present, and the future. Isn’t that quite too much? Am I becoming obsessive?’ Arabella hated how her thoughts were going.

Ferdinand’s past was his. All she could do was accept it. But his present and future, that was what she could be part of.

’Ferdinand said he never got married nor had children so that’s it. I’ll believe that as the truth. There’s no use doubting it because some of his memories got destroyed. Raymond and Alwin thought so too so it must be a fact. If there’s something important Ferdinand lost memories of and would bother us in the future, I would deal with it then.’

Arabella rid herself of negative and doubtful thoughts. All that matters for now, was Ferdinand was opening up to her. He was finally being honest about a lot of things he never did in her previous life.

’Liking someone sure is hard. Now that I know I like him much more than I thought, both positive and negative feelings come to me.’

People do get greedy. The more happiness and love you experience, the more you want to hold onto such happiness.

Now that she knows he was someone important to her, insecurity, doubts, and fears of losing him to someone else are also beginning to creep into her mind.

Once you realize you treasure something, you begin to fear losing it. She had lost everything once. She doesn’t want that to happen ever again.

She wanted to hold onto this Ferdinand who treasures and loves her.

She wanted to make him complete hers that she was even beginning to have fears of him getting snatched away. Especially after that time when Carmella tried to seduce him and he intentionally made her jealous to see her reaction.

It was no wonder Ferdinand gets jealous and insecure easily. It was because he treasures her so much that his fears of losing her were also strong. She was beginning to understand his jealousy and insecurity more.

"Now, I’m the one who’s wondering what’s on your mind," Ferdinand spoke and Arabella flinched.

She was lost in thought while gazing at his face and caressing his cheeks this whole time.

[I love having this much of her attention all on me. But I wonder what’s on her mind. I felt like she just thought of something good.]

"Making you mine," Arabella’s mouth worked before she realized what she said.

Ferdinand was wide-eyed and his face turned red.

[In what context? Can I interpret this to mean she’s longing for me right now?]

"I had been yours since the first day I met you. You can claim me however you wish," Ferdinand intentionally left his invitation vague so she could interpret it as she pleased.

’This bad boy. Now he is seducing me when just hugging and kissing feels so much better than usual. And he was the one who told me not to tempt him until we returned to Valeria. Or is that deal off now since we have left Medues? We are in Estrella after all.’

She wondered if he would not allow her to return to Medeus now and have her return to Riva once he was sure the poison had no after-effects.

"Is that so? Then, I wonder how I should claim you," Arabella wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in, tempting him for a kiss.

If he was going to seduce her, then she could seduce him too, right?

Ferdinand gulped and searched her eyes.

[There are still several minutes before sunset. It’s alright to indulge for a bit, right?]

Ferdinand took the bait and closed the distance. He paused when their lips were just an inch away and gazed into her eyes again.

Months ago, he used to just dig in without checking in with her first. But this time, he was waiting for a go signal even at a time like this. He was searching for signs Arabella also wanted what he had in mind.

’Did his eyes always look this pretty? He had such long lashes too.’

She could clearly see in his eyes that he wanted a deep kiss this time. And he wanted to make out while waiting for the sunset.

Arabella smiled and kissed him first. Their second kiss in Ferdinand’s original body was initiated by her.

Ferdinand was wide-eyed but didn’t let the chance slip by. He let one hand go to the back of her head.

They kissed slowly, savoring every moment as both of them were finding this much more sensual than usual.

Their kisses grew hotter and hungrier until Arabella felt her back against the wall.

She didn’t even realize how they reach the wall when they were by the railing earlier. Did he teleport them or they took steps back?

Ah, she doesn’t care anymore when kissing him feels so nice and mind-blowing.

’This feels too good,’ Arabella was losing her mind as Ferdinand gently sucked at her tongue. Her mind was going blank and she could feel the desire pooling in her stomach.

She moaned when Ferdinand’s hand which had been caressing her back, slipped down to her hips. Soon both of his hands were cupping and pressing her behind.

His lips wandered to her neck and she could not resist the feeling and tilted her head to the side to give him more access.

Then she recalled there could be other beings who could fly here.

"Uhm, Ferdinand, what if someone saw us here?"

"I have cast a spell. No one would be able to see us here," Ferdinand assured her and gave her a peck.

Her husband’s kisses turned eager and his hands began to explore her body more lasciviously.

Since he said no one could see them, Arabella let her hands explore as well to match his. She wanted to feel him more too.
