"Blanca’s growth was just stunted due to suffering from injuries. When I healed her completely a day ago and gave her some of my mana, her body grew to how it was supposed to be," Alwin explained.

"I... I see." Arabella was still so surprised that she kept staring and scrutinizing Blanca.

’Right. I did hear it from Blanca’s thoughts last time. But it was still so shocking to really see it for myself. It means her pegasus body is of an adult now too, right?’

[That’s the supposed reaction.] Alwin nodded his head. [She had been too accepting of everything I said about other races last time that I am beginning to wonder if she was a different person. The former her would probably have been more shocked. Ah, but then again, even after she died, she was still so gullible. She just believed everything I said as the truth. If I had lied then, she would have been listening to lies all her life.]

’What is he thinking about? Of course, I believed him. He was clearly emotional and telling the truth at that time. And who would lie to a corpse and a spirit?’

[Hmm. She doesn’t look like she’s not suspicious of anything. Maybe she didn’t hear it at that time.]

’What’s he talking about?’

Arabella stared into Alwin’s eyes and had a glimpse of his thoughts. He had a conversation with Esmeralda and Blanca back in Safiro when he went to fetch the latter. Blanca and Esmeralda then told him that Blanca didn’t know Arabella was not aware of everything so she accidentally referred to him as Mr. Elf. They were worried Blanca would be punished if Arabella ended up knowing Alwin’s secret and possibly implicate Ferdinand.

’I thought she said that in her mind. I was so amazed by her appearance that I didn’t realize I heard it out loud.’

Arabella only realized it now due to getting a glimpse of Alwin’s and Blanca’s thoughts.

’But no one commented at that time.’

Ah, right, everyone was thinking of various things then.

Arabella surmised it was probably too normal for them so they didn’t realize it shouldn’t have been said.

[I was too distracted at the time that I did not even notice. Even His Majesty didn’t notice as well. Even Esmeralda did not.]

Esmeralda only realized it as well when she told Blanca to be careful around Arabella once she was in the Imperial Palace. Blanca was horrified when she recalled she had already slipped up and called Alwin, "Mr. Elf."

But since they recalled that Arabella had no reaction at all that time, they concluded that she probably did not hear it or was too busy processing everything that she just witnessed so she did not hear Blanca’s words.

They planned to observe Arabella though in case she was being suspicious of Alwin.

But since Arabella was treating him as usual, they concluded she truly did not hear it or assumed that what Blanca meant was Alwin resembled elves because of his beauty.

’Thank goodness I was too busy adoring Blanca then. If I had reacted, they would have noticed from my reaction that I knew something about their real identity. What if they began being suspicious of me instead? I have to be more careful.’

"Welcome to Riva," Arabella smiled at Blanca and did her best to act as she usually does.

"Thank you, Your Majesty. I will be imposing on you for a while."

Arabella learned from their thoughts that since Blanca was already an adult, she might be allowed to stay in Valeria.

However, that depends upon her behavior while she was in the Imperial Palace.

If Blanca was able to behave as a noble would, she may be allowed to stay in the palace as a noble and serve as one of Arabella’s ladies-in-waiting.

But if Blanca was not able to learn, she would be sent to Estrella since she had a huge amount of mana that would attract the attention of magicians.

Likewise, Blanca was not allowed to stay in Mt. Esme anymore since her presence might cause magic ores to form again. It might catch the attention of mages again so they would rather not take the risk of putting Safiro in danger again.

Alwin and the other magicians of the Magic Tower apparently collected all the magic ores in Mt. Esme and brought them to the tower where they would be safe with them and could serve useful purposes.

Magic ores were turned into magic stones and were used for various things so it was very beneficial. Thus, the magic tower would pay for the magic ores they got since it was a lot.

The payment would be handed over to the rulers of Safiro once they were able to establish their government. It was another great help for the recovery of Safiro.

It was apparently Esmeralda’s condition as well since she still felt so bad for being unable to protect her descendants that their population had lessened too greatly.

Blanca wanted to stay in Valeria so she would be able to keep visiting Esmeralda once in a while so she had suggested becoming Arabella’s pegasus for emergency purposes.

Alwin had flat-out refused since Arabella could summon him in cases of emergencies. She also had Rendell.

However, Blanca apparently pointed out that what if Alwin was busy with Ferdinand on important matters and could not get to Arabella if she summons him?

Blanca could at least make Arabella ride her and fly away with her in tow to escape danger while Rendell fights.

Alwin ended up agreeing in the end which was why Blanca would be staying in the palace for a while and gets educated by the Head Maid on how to act like a handmaid and a proper noble lady.

Arabella learned that the Head Maid was also from Estrella so she was the right person to train Blanca.

’She would be my pegasus?!’ Arabella was excited by it.

She internally scolded her inner child but she wanted to experience riding a pegasus at least once now that she knew they exist.

Riding Blanca made her feel a bit bad though since she couldn’t help but see Blanca as a human due to current her appearance.
