Once we finished taking down the Kaiju, we moved back to the island to check how Sofia and the rest were doing, and well, they weren’t doing quite well.

The giant hole to the underground left behind by the Kaiju ended up bringing forth a bunch of Nightmare Beasts that were being kept down there for a long time.

I don’t know what’s going on, but is there like a whole underground world here or something?

Once the hole was opened by the giant Kaiju, these smaller, yet very lethal reptile-like monsters appeared, resembling dinosaurs similarly to the Kaiju himself.

Honestly, this feels as if we opened a hole to the center of the Earth or something, where ancient dinosaurs still exist!

But the dinosaurs are monstrous mutated beasts created by Nightmare Soot that mutated... normal lizards? I hope?

Or maybe these are really ancient dinosaurs that had survived this entire time down there and mutated into Nightmare Beasts!

Meaning that they’re even worse than normal animals in terms of power alone, which makes sense, Sofia and her friends were struggling to fight them because of how damn tough they appeared to be.

For now I had decided to call these "Nightmaresaurs" because of how much resembled giant, even scarier versions of dinosaurs.

Anyway, we descended to act quickly, as Sofia and the girls were struggling. Lucifer and Nyx took down the monsters nearby, opening the way for me to get there and heal their exhaustion or any wound with my usual skill.

"Everyone! Are you alright?" I asked, as I descended. "Sorry for taking a while!"

"M-Maria!" Sofia cried in happiness, running to my side. "What took you so damn long?!" But her personality quickly shifted into her usual demanding young lady attitude.

"You’re back, Maria! I knew you would come back!" Alma smiled. "There are so many dinosaurs... I don’t know where they came from but they’re so many! If they were to get to the island, it would be a catastrophe!"

"Finally! We thought we were going to kick the bucket around here!" Emily said. "Now help us out hunting all these giant dinos, we need as much help as we can get!"

"Maria do you know what these things are?! Ah, wait! What happened to the giant one?!" Martina asked, looking around in confusion. "Hold on, it’s gone?"

"He’s dead," I said, nodding as I quickly finished healing their exhaustion and fatigue and also refilling their Dream Essence so they could be at full power again. "We took him down pretty easily I would say! It might have been big, but it was just nothing compared to a Nightmare Demon with a Nightmare Authority."

"R-Really? But it was gigantic, that thing could’ve sank the whole city...!" Alma said. "A-Are you really okay?"

"We’ve taken down worse and stronger things..." I said with a shrug. "A-Ah, well, I mean other Nightmare Demons... Um yeah."

"You guys are just ridiculously strong I guess..." Sofia laughed slightly tired. "Ugh, it just feels impossible to ever catch up with you guys..."

"Come on! Don’t say that! I know that once you put in a lot of effort, you’ll be rewarded, I promise," I winked at Sofia. "So let’s work together to take down these dinosaurs. Come, my Undead Army!"

In that moment, I spread my shadows, as many of my Undead, Giant Skeletons, Zombies, and other creatures manifested from the Sea of Darkness I released from my shadows, and also, well, my very soul.

"Let’s clean this mess!"

From there giant skeleton chimeras, zombies, golems, giant mushrooms and evil Treants materialized, Myconidas also came along.

Myconidas was the mushroom born from the bones of Ymir, powerful divine god in the making that I "adopted" from Helheim by Hel’s request, and one of the "Divine Undead" I was able to summon and contract.

And well, technically, the potential new god of Decay and Withering from Yggdrasil! However, he’s a "young god" and a rare "natural god" born from Yggdrasil itself rather than an invader that stole divinities and divine thrones like Odin and his family.

Thankfully he wasn’t assigned any sort of family in here, and he seems mostly invisible to other people, unless I infuse nightmare power into him... I think.

"Oh! I’ve been called! Finally! Is it my time to shine, ma’am?"

He quickly walked to my side, looking at me with his adorable little face. I patted his big mushroom capped head, which was dark blue and purple in color, with also some black on it.

"Yes, it’s finally your time to shine, little Myconidas! Your power is a bit dangerous, and we’ll need the materials though, so can you try not to wither and make things decay?"

"Hmm, okay! It’ll be a good training!"

Myconidas nodded, as my friends glanced at the little talking mushroom with intrigue.

At the same time, I summoned the rest of my Spirits, all of them who quickly gathered around me.

This included Beatriz the Nightmare Demon, which is technically something like a spirit herself, and also the Evil God Spirit, Tyr, the former God of War and Law that was betrayed by his family and yeah, we know the backstory.

"Alright everyone! I want all of you to spread out and catch as many monsters as you can! The Nightmaresaurs are strong and tough, but you should be able to take them down with a little boost I’ll be giving to you."

I quickly waved my hand, injecting Dream Essence into them.

FLAAASH!

As they received this power, their bodies rapidly grew larger and stronger, overflowing with shadowy auras that made them look like Nightmares themselves.

Woah, so this is what happens when they are injected with Dream Essence!
