Chapter 115: Chapter 115: Committing Murder

Even though her heart already belonged to Vivian Thornecroft, it didn’t stop her from being attracted to such a flawless man.

Anna Green couldn’t help but smile. When they first met at the hospital, she knew this man was extraordinary.

Who would have thought, he was Mason Bennett.

Was this banquet the heavens’ arrangement for their reunion?

Thinking this, Anna Green’s smile deepened as she saw that dignified man walking towards her step by step...

Samuel Gren was also taken aback when he saw Mason Bennett. This was, after all, their first formal meeting. He was also a bit surprised that he was the person he brushed past at the hospital elevator.

As for Francesca Willis, who’s only thought was Daniel Green, upon seeing Mason Bennett, she forgot everything and ran crying towards him.

"Mr. Bennett, you must stand up for our Daniel."

The woman’s cries brought everyone’s attention back to the room, almost making them forget that there was still drama unresolved in this banquet hall.

Samuel Gren’s face turned unsightly, never imagining that their first formal meeting would let Mason Bennett see this side, deepening his resentment towards Bella Green.

His heart sank a little, knowing that this collaboration was probably blown, but he still needed to try his best.

Mason Bennett stopped, looking at the woman in front sobbing with tears and snot, subtly distancing himself from her.

"Daniel?" Hearing this somewhat familiar name, he raised his eyebrows slightly.

Upon hearing Mason Bennett mention Daniel Green’s name, Francesca Willis’ eyes brightened and she nodded quickly: "Yes, yes, I’m Daniel’s mother."

Elliot Morris, standing beside, rolled his eyes dramatically, thinking his boss probably didn’t even know who Daniel Green was, let alone knew his mother.

Surprised, he suddenly thought, Daniel? Why does it sound so much like the name of young master Green?

Speaking of which, he had just brought young master Green here but got caught up with something else later. Then Mason Bennett arrived, and he completely forgot about him. Could he have gotten lost?

"Mr. Bennett, you must seek justice for our Daniel. This is your banquet, yet someone here is trying to commit murder!" Francesca Willis wailed.

The shrewish cries made Elliot Morris’ eyes flash with a hint of annoyance, while he anxiously looked at Mason Bennett.

Sure enough, the man’s expression turned even colder, prompting Elliot Morris to clear his throat and step forward.

"Madam, such jokes should not be made. Murder? That’s not something to say casually." He wore a formulaic smile while inwardly cursing, wondering if this person was here to cause a scene.

"How am I talking nonsense? Her! It’s her! She’s trying to commit murder here." Francesca Willis suddenly turned and pointed at the stunned and dumbfounded Bella Green in the crowd.

Having no chance to flee, Bella Green met Mason Bennett’s gaze, and his frosty stare made her instinctively shrink in, with only one thought in her mind.

I’m screwed...

Could someone tell her why Mason Bennett was here? Wasn’t he supposed to be in the banquet hall upstairs?

Seeing Bella Green’s expression, Francesca Willis felt a joyful stir in her heart. As expected, she was scared. This troublesome girl only dared to be domineering at home, but now she’s finally afraid.

Watching the man approaching step by step, Bella Green’s mind raced, trying to figure out how to handle such an unexpected situation.

If she’d known Mason Bennett was attending this banquet too, she’d never have acted tough or showed off, and would’ve quietly slipped away...
