Chapter 934: Chapter 934: Yan Tingfeng’s Terrifying Power! [Part 2]
The guard’s movements paused for a moment, his face still full of contempt.
But he couldn’t turn his head, for a hand had already gripped his neck and then twisted it directly.
With a crisp "crack," the guard’s body stiffened and uncontrollably fell to the ground.
His hand that was restraining Xuan Tan naturally loosened, allowing Xuan Tan to break free.
She stared blankly upward, only to see a man with handsome features and white hair nodding and smiling at her gently, "Were you frightened, Mother?"
"Ting’er!" Xuan Tan was greatly alarmed, "Didn’t I tell you to leave quickly? Why didn’t you leave? Your hair..."
She and Beiyin might as well die, but they couldn’t let anything happen to their child!
"Mother, please wait here for a moment," Yan Tingfeng said leisurely as he wiped his hands, "I don’t want their filthy blood to stain your clothes, as for the matter with my hair, I will explain in detail later."
"Ting’er, wait! You mustn’t—" Xuan Tan hadn’t yet reacted when her vision blurred, and she felt a breeze caress her face gently.
A fleeting shadow passed among the dozens of guards, and by the time it could finally be captured by the naked eye, a short dagger had already slit the throats of all the guards.
"Thud! Thud—"
The guards fell one after another, their blood splattering all over the ground.
"..."
The entire Crown Prince Mansion was silent.
The sole remaining butler’s legs went weak, and he collapsed to the ground, his body trembling as if he were sifting chaff, filled with nothing but fear as he looked at Yan Tingfeng.
Xuan Tan’s eyes widened in shock, "This, this..."
She was not shocked because these Royal Palace Guards had died in the blink of an eye. After all, as the Crown Princess Consort, she had seen many grand events.
Before marrying Beiyin, she had also trained on the battlefield and killed people, so she wouldn’t be frightened by a bloody scene.
Xuan Tan was shocked by the strength of her eldest son.
You must know, these Royal Palace Guards, at the very least, have the Divine Bloodline of a Gamma-level, the Guard Commander is even Beta-level.
They are in charge of keeping order in the Royal City and follow only the King’s command.
Although their combat power is a bit inferior to the cavalry soldiers, there are so many guards after all, and two fists can hardly fight off four hands.
But what did she see?
It seemed like she saw nothing, only felt a breeze pass, and all the Royal Palace Guards had fallen.
Even an Alpha-level Divine Bloodline holder could not possibly kill dozens of them in the blink of an eye!
What kind of power is this?!
Although Beiyin was the Crown Prince, he was by now merely a prince in name with no one of use at his disposal, so they were prepared to die.
But now...
Yan Tingfeng took out a handkerchief, wiping the blood from his fingertips with casual indifference.
He was never a good person, much less a benevolent one.
The pile of people he killed had long since reached a mountain, and the rivers of blood on his hands had long since flowed into streams.
In these chaotic times, only by killing can killing be stopped, this is the right way.
Yan Tingfeng waved his hand again, and the corpses and blood on the ground began to dissolve bit by bit, quickly disappearing without a trace.
Beiming Arts!
However, Xuan Tan could not recognize it, and she couldn’t help but gasp, "Ting’er, you killed them, if word reaches the Royal Palace, you’ll surely not survive. You must leave now, I’ll cover your escape!"
Though shocked, her mind raced quickly and instinctively focused all her thought on Yan Tingfeng’s safety.
"Reaches the Royal Palace?" Yan Tingfeng chuckled lightly, "That would be just fine with me, for I am planning to go there myself."
Xuan Tan froze again, "Ting’er?"
"Mother, please rest here for a moment, I will go bring Father back." Yan Tingfeng flexed his fingers, "Sorry to have come out of seclusion a bit late."
Three hundred years ago, he was a child unable to twine even a chicken, helplessly watching Yan Wuhen and Su Hongxiu be brutally murdered before his eyes.
Three hundred years later, with power and authority in his hands, no one could harm those he sought to protect this time around.
Even if he had to slaughter the entire Chongming Royal Family, so what?!
Yan Tingfeng tilted his head slightly, the smile at his lips fading, leaving only an icy chill.
The next moment, he vanished from where he stood.
Xuan Tan remained standing in place, a long time passing before she regained her senses.
**
By now, Beiyin had been thrown into the Royal Palace’s prison.
The Second Prince leisurely followed in, "Eldest brother, seeing you down and out like this, as your younger brother, my heart’s unsettled too."
Beiyin remained silent, his expression cold.
"You still think you’re some high and mighty Crown Prince? Ha! Now you’re just a prisoner!" The Second Prince was infuriated by his demeanor, "Bring the torture instruments!"
A guard handed over a gun-like object, "Your Highness the Second Prince."
"Beiyin, this is a newly developed Neural Fiber Disassembler." The Second Prince waved the gun in his hand, "With just one shot, the nano-needles inside will enter your body instantly, spreading along your nervous system and amplifying your sense of pain by a hundred times!"
These nano-needles would peel off the victims’ nerves’ myelin, amplifying the pain signals.
Beiyin’s pupils contracted, yet he still did not speak, nor did he beg for mercy.
"Well, after all, you and I are brothers, and I don’t want you to suffer so much." The Second Prince spun the gun in his hand, smiling, "Just kneel and kowtow ten times to me, say a few words to please me, and I won’t use this on you, how about it?"
Beiyin looked at him coldly, his face enveloped in a frost, alongside an intense disappointment.
"Don’t look at me with those eyes!" The Second Prince said viciously, "Since you won’t drink a toast only to drink a forfeit, don’t blame me for—"
His words were interrupted, for a third person had arrived.
Footsteps echoed clearly in the silent prison cell.
Beiyin cried out, "Ting’er? Why are you here! Leave now! Don’t mind me!"
The Second Prince turned around, surprised to see the white-haired young man entering the place.
Yan Tingfeng confirmed that Beiyin was unharmed, relaxing slightly, and only then did his gaze fall on the Second Prince.
"Oh, so you’re my vegetative nephew?" The Second Prince squinted his eyes at him, "You did inherit some good traits from my dear elder brother and sister-in-law, you do look good, but you’ve come to the wrong place!"
His real target was Beiyin alone; he didn’t care about the rest of the Crown Prince Mansion.
But since Beiyin’s cherished eldest son had come, he wouldn’t be polite anymore.
Surely, making Beiyin see his son die would strike him harder.
The Second Prince thought so as he aimed the gun at the white-haired young man.
Beiyin’s throat tightened, his eyes bulging in desperation, "Ting’er, dodge!"
