"Why did you do this?" He asked, taking a close look at his arm, which had been bitten by her. Her teeth marks were visible on it.

Li Qiang had an insane thought. He did not want the mark to fade.

"You are ignoring me; why are you doing that?" She complained with pouted lips, which surprised Chen Wenling.

She had only ever seen her boss present a cold face to the shareholders. Though she occasionally smiled at her, she never imagined that her boss could be so coquettish.

The car happened to have a partition, which Gao Yang calmly raised by pressing a button, separating the front and back seats.

Chen Wenling watched, her mouth open in surprise.

"Am I ignoring you?" Li Qiang chuckled sarcastically.

"Tell me, Xin Yan, what have you been through? What made you change? Do you think I am unaware of how much you adored Yuan Renshu? So, why all of this?" Li Qiang could no longer contain his emotions as he questioned her.

Xin Yan stared at him while fiddling with her fingers. She was not sure what she wanted to say. She could not tell anyone she was reborn, or they would think she was insane.

"I also want to ask you a question: Do you like me? You have been watching me for a long time, and you even helped me discover Yuan Renshu’s secret, so I will ask, do you like me?" She asked a different question immediately.

Li Qiang looked at her, torn between emotions. Yes, he did like this little girl. He had always carried a torch for her since they were children.

"I did not tell you because I did not think it was necessary; you will find out anyway; I have loved you and will continue to love you; all I require is for you to trust me," he said, startling her.

She turned to look into his eyes, which were full of sincerity and affection. She had always seen this same expression, but she had never understood it.

"Li Qiang, I am..." Her words were cut short when Li Qiang pressed his finger against her lips.

"You do not need to say anything; I did not tell you to be concerned about it; I only told you because you were so interested in discovering the truth," he patted her palms lightly.
