They finally walked into the court, and Tang Jun noticed that Li Qiang was present, and his heart turned cold immediately.

His power could not compare to Li Qiang. He only hoped the people he had met with will be willing to do as he had requested of them.

On the other hand, Tang Jingsheng’s eyes landed on Xin Yan who was on her phone, and his eyes widened.

He licked his lips sensually.

’Damn! She is much more pretty than Zhou Mian,’ he thought to himself as they walked to the booth meant for them. He could not take his eyes off her.

Xin Yan felt uncomfortable as she felt someone’s intense gaze on her which prompted her to raise her head, and her eyes met with Tang Jingsheng who was unable to hide his perverted look.

Xin Yan was disgusted, and she was tempted to go against her morals by beating him up. But thankfully, she was able to control her temper, and she successfully ignored him.

Li Qiang, who was discussing with Tang Mo, felt her change in mood, and he looked at her with a concerned look

"What is wrong?" Li Qiang inquired, his voice holding an anxious tone.

"I just got rid of a stupid fly, no need to bother," Xin Yan gave him a cryptic reply which caused him to feel confused.

He fixed his gaze on her, but he did not say anything. He understood she was lying, but he was not going to force her to give him an answer.

"Yan," Zhou Mian called out, which caused the former (Xin Yan) to turn her attention away from Li Qiang.

"Zhou Mian," she called as she made space for her to take a seat.

"Have you spoken with Feng Shui? Is she in a good medical condition to testify?" Xin Yan asked eagerly.

"Yes I have, the doctor says she can testify, but she warned about the risks of her being stimulated when she sees Tang Jingsheng, she still has this lingering fear of him, his name scares her at the same time," Zhou Mian had a tired sigh on her face.

These past few weeks, she, alongside Xin Yan had been trying to bring the girl out of her cocoon, but all efforts proved fruitless.

"Everything will be fine, I assure you, Feng Shui will be able to face her fears, she cannot continue to be fearful about it, she has to pick herself up, and do what is right," Xin Yan stated fervently.

"You should tell it to her, not me," Zhou Mian joked. She was trying to ease the tense atmosphere.

The two ladies shared laughs, causing the men to turn to them, wondering what had happened to them.

Soon, Shi Liran and Tang Mei made their way into the court. They sighted Tang Mo and the rest, and they approached him.

"Mom."

"Aunty."

Both Tang Mo and Li Qiang greeted Shi Liran simultaneously.

Shi Liran smiled at them, before taking a seat behind them.

Xin Yan and Zhou Mian exchanged polite nods with her.

"Li Qiang, how have you been?" Tang Mei asked with a coquettish voice, still standing, but Li Qiang ignored her. He acted as though no one were standing in front.

"Look, it is the slut of the year, still hung up on him when she is about to get married," Zhou Mian muttered under her breath, but her voice was loud for everyone to hear.

"Who are you referring to as a slut?" Tang Mei flared up immediately.

"I didn’t mention anyone’s name, you decided to take it personally," Zhou Mian shrugged, clearly not taking Tang Mei seriously.

Xin Yan stifled a laugh. She was well aware of why Zhou Mian was doing this.

"That is enough," Shi Liran spoke up with her hands on her forehead.

"Tang Mei, take a seat, or you go back home if you want to cause trouble," Shi Liran instructed.

Tang Mei was vexed, but she could only do as Shi Liran had said.

"Is she still hung up on him?" Zhou Mian asked as she turned to look at Tang Mei through the corner of her eyes. She smirked a bit when she noticed that Tang Mei was glaring at her.

"I have no idea, that is none of my business, she is getting married, it is best you leave her be," Xin Yan advised.

Zhou Mian sighed.

Soon, the judge made his way into the court, and they all gave him respect by rising to their feet.

They only had their seats when he gave them the permission to do so.

"Is Wu Tang going to show up?" Shi Liran whispered to Tang Mei as they took their seats.

Tang Mei frowned as she recalled the conversation she had with Wu Tang two days ago.

"I have no idea, and I am not concerned, he should do whatever he plans to do," Tang Mei was irritated just by the mention of Wu Tang.

She had requested to meet her son, but he rejected her. She clenched her fists tightly. Not only that, but she wished she could strangle him, but she dared not do so.

In all honesty, she did not know if they were partners, or if she was his subordinate. She was not aware of his plans.

And though she liked Li Qiang, she still could not shake the feeling of Wu Tang ignoring her. They were going to get married, even if they did not like each other.

"What do you mean by you have no idea? You both are getting married soon, is this how you are both going to act?" Shi Liran whispered, feeling confused.

To Tang Mei, it felt like Shi Liran was trying to rub salt on her wound. She constantly reminded her that she and Wu Tang were going to get married.

She would rather not get married to him, she only wanted Li Qiang, but she was forced to Tang Mei because of a silly mistake.
