Chapter 164: Chapter 164: Tang Mo Acts Defiantly

"I am here, Father," Tang Mo and Li Qiang walked out from the lobby as they came to stand in front of Tang Jun who was raging.

Pak! Tang Jun had just slapped Tang Mo!

The sound silenced everyone. All the officers stopped what they were doing as they turned their heads to watch the family drama.

"Uncle!" Li Qiang yelled as he looked at the old man who did not hold back on his strength.

Tang Mo held his cheek. He turned to look at Li Qiang, shaking his head. He was telling him not to interfere.

Li Qiang heaved a sigh, taking a step back, but that did not mean he let his guard down against the old man. He glared furiously at Tang Jun who was not bothered about the glare.

"Why did you get your brother arrested?" Tang Jun asked.

Tang Jun looked around, and the gossip officers went back to their jobs immediately. Li Qiang’s eyes landed on the chief officer who chuckled nervously.

"Gentlemen, let’s talk somewhere else," the chief officer said to them.

Tang Jun gave his son a glare, before gesturing for the officer to lead the way.

The chief officer let out a sigh of relief seeing that they had complied.

He led them to a secluded lounge, and he left after seeing that they had settled down. He would rather not be caught between the crossfire of both father and son.

Li Qiang looked at Tang Mo one last time, before leaving the lounge. But that did not mean he left the surroundings.

He did not know what Tang Jun could do in this state, and therefore, he needed to stay outside to protect Tang Mo.

"I will ask you one last time, why did you get your brother arrested? He is your brother, but you got him arrested, do you know how your brother would feel knowing that his junior brother sent him to jail?" Tang Jun decided to play the pity card.

But that was not going to work. Tang Mo had finally seen their real colors, and he could not bring himself to apologize. If he did not know who his father really was, he would have knelt down, and apologized immediately.

Tang Mo remained silent. He wondered how long his father was able to keep up the ridiculous act he had on.

"Why can’t you give a reply? I thought you idolized your brother? Then why? I need an answer!" Tang Jun exclaimed.

"I do not idolize a rapist!" Tang Mo’s voice rang out, his pronunciation clear as he enunciated each word.

Tang Jun widened his eyes as he looked at his younger son, who was acting defiant. He did not know what he was to say.

"He is your brother! Why did you have to put him in trouble for an outsider?" Tang Jun’s reaction was expected, and not surprising to Tang Mo, but he didn’t understand why he still felt heartbroken by his father’s words.

"The outsider you are referring to was placed in my care, she was taking care of your son who feigned illness, he took advantage of her, should I ignore the truth just because he is my brother?" Tang Mo was surprised by his father’s senses of reasoning.

But it was expected. After all, he was also a rapist in his own right. Rapists never cared about their victims. They were unapologetic, and sadistic.

"So what?" Tang Jun had still not realized the severity of this issue. Moreover, he was not aware that Tang Mo had lost all respect for him since the discovery.

"Father, that is a life, the world does not revolve around you and your son, but what was I expecting, you are after all Cheng Jin, and you taught your son everything he knew," due to rage, Tang Mo spilled out the truth.

"Wait a minute, how did you find out about that? Who told you that?" Tang Jun stood up from his seat as he questioned Tang Mo fiercely whose heart had turned numb to the countless discoveries he made today.

"So it is really true, Tang Jingsheng wasn’t lying, you are Cheng Jin, and he is the head of The Deadly Sins," Tang Mo had a bitter taste in his mouth as he stared at his father who had an awkward look on his face. He had given himself away.

"That... I... Did ... Not..." Tang Jun stammered, but Tang Mo shook his head.

"I do not want to hear what you have to say, Father, you and brother have truly disappointed me, I now have doubts that I am truly a member of our family," Tang Mo spoke bitterly.

"What do you mean by that? Tang Mo, do not utter such words, if you are not a son of the Tang’s, which family do you then belong to?" Tang Jun was furious with the way he spoke.

"You tell me Father, I should ask you such a question, I mean, I am entirely different from you all, Tang Jingsheng and you are rapists, and you are not remorseful about that, and Tang Mei, she is a lost cause, I wonder how I became attached to such a family."

Tang Mo breathed out after completing his statement. Actually, Tang Mo had every right to think that way. Every sane person would think about that as well.

His difference from the family members was glaring.

Tang Jun panicked as he looked at his son, who stared at him with emotionless eyes. He had a bad feeling about everything.

He had already gotten Tang Jingsheng arrested. It would not take a long time before he also sent him to jail.

"Do you dare to send your father to jail?" Tang Jun asked, releasing his aura, which he had honed for a long time.

Unfortunately, Tang Mo had grown. If he were the younger Tang Mo, he would have given into his father, but he is grown up now.

And relating with Li Qiang had also given him an edge. He could not be afraid of his father anymore.

"Yes, I dare to send you to jail," Tang Mo replied with a defiant gaze. He was able to stand his ground, which surprised Tang Jun immensely.
