"Are you eager to see me take up the challenge?" He asked with a smirk on his face as he trailed his index finger on her face slightly. Her face was smooth to touch, and he enjoyed touching her face.

Zhang Luiying shivered slightly as she felt his finger on her face. She heaved a sigh before she swatted his finger away from her face.

She would rather not be distracted from what she was about to say, she knew he was trying to distract her, and she did not want him to be successful in his plans.

"What do you think?" She folded her arms as she stared straight into his eyes.

"I understand," he shook his head.

"I want to see you send the message to him," she instructed, and he looked at her with a helpless sigh.

He could not understand why she was hell-bent on seeing him compete, he could just ignore the message.

But his wife was not willing to see his reputation in the racing world go down the drain, and that warmed his heart.

"Fine," he gave in and finally sent the message of acceptance to Fu Ji.

Fu Ji who had received the message was more than excited as he had a smirk on his face.

"Happy now?" He asked and she nodded with a smile.

"Why don’t we go have lunch? My treat," she suggested, and he nodded with a smile.

"But I would love to have another lunch," he said to her while giving her a suggestive look.

"You are naughty," she slapped his arms before she hastily left his lap, she did not want something to happen. She could already see the look in his eyes and honestly, it was not something she was expecting.

Xin Yi had a frown on his face as he saw her leave his laps, but he could not do anything about it. He was well aware of the fact that she was somewhat scared of the look in his eyes, but it was not his fault.

Every time he laid his eyes on his wife, he only had one thought in his mind, and that was to devour her. His wife, Zhang Luiying was a sexy being, and he felt blessed to have her in his life.

"Are you hungry or not?" She asked with folded arms as she backed away a bit, she was scared that he might end up pouncing on her if she was not careful.

"Let’s go," he said to her, and she smiled, it seemed she had already evaded a disaster, for now.

If they got home, she feared what might happen.

Meanwhile, Gao Yang and Chen Wenling had made a bit of progress in their ’relationship.’

They both had feelings for each other but neither had the courage to confess to the other.

Presently, they were on a date which Gao Yang had requested.

"What is your favorite western food?" Gao Yang asked as he stared at the petite lady opposite him.

"Hmm, I do not have one, I do not enjoy western food as much as I do Chinese; therefore, I do not have favourite food," Chen Wenling replied, and he nodded before keeping quiet.

He did not know what he was to say anymore. They were in the process of getting to know each other and Gao Yang was panicking already. He did not want her to think he was a boring person, even if it was the truth.

"You must have favourite western food since you asked me, tell me what your favorite western food is," Chen Wenling had to continue. She did not want the conversation to end just like that.

"I fancy pasta," he replied with a smile. Obviously, he knew what she was planning to do, and he was grateful for that.

"Pasta? That is an unexpected choice," Chen Wenling chuckled.

"Indeed it is, but once you have a boss such as President Li and accompany him to major events, you would get exposed to it," he replied while chuckling, and she chuckled in return as he said the truth.

"Wenling, I have something to say to you," Gao Yang spoke up.

He stared straight into her eyes causing the female to feel flustered. She seemed to have figured what he wanted to say, but she was not too sure of it.

"What do you want to say to me?" She asked while she tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear.

"The thing is," he paused as he had no idea as to how he was going to say what he was about to say.

"You can say what you want to say, we are the only ones here," she urged him.

"I love you," he finally confessed while he closed his eyes immediately.

He opened his right eye slightly to gauge her reaction, and he was surprised to see the reaction she had.

"You can open your eyes, no need to feel embarrassed," Chen Wenling spoke up as she enjoyed his embarrassed look.

On hearing her voice, he opened his eyes and looked at her. He noticed that her face was red, seemed she was embarrassed and flustered.

"What is your reply?" He asked as he fiddled with his fingers in secret. He feared her reply, he was scared that she might reject him.

"Gao Yang, I also love you," she finally gave her reply while she lowered her head, feeling shy.

"You love me?" He asked as he pointed at himself in surprise. He knew that she had feelings for him, but he did not expect for her to give him a reply that soon.

"Of course dummy, I love you, I do not know when it started, maybe when we always had our episodes of arguments,

I am not sure or perhaps when you saved me from those thugs, I just knew the way I saw you changed, I don’t know how to explain it, but I have had feelings for you," she explained to him, her head still lowered.

She felt extremely shy to confess her deepest feelings to the one who she loved. She had never done this, so it was really hard for her.
