"Sleeping at this hour?" It was almost noon, and it was surprising that Mo Xiaoqiang was still sleeping.

Madam Xie lowered her head hesitating before whispering softly, "Last night, he went out somewhere and didn’t return until nearly dawn. Now, he’s catching up on sleep!"

Xuexue’s heart skipped a beat, blaming herself for having arranged for Madam Xie to live in this house.

Why would Xuexue think this way?

Because the brothel is close by, and Mo Xiaoqiang is known to be lecherous. Back in Mo Family Village, his frequent visits to the brothel were infamous.
