"Don’t dawdle, hurry up, the Prince will be here soon." Glancing at the girls who were dragging their feet, the Old Maid couldn’t hide her impatience.

Under the Old Maid’s urging, the girls reluctantly drank the tea.

"All right! Everyone wait in your rooms for the Prince to come." After the Old Maid finished speaking, she went out.

A Young Maid stayed behind to lead the girls to the room.

The room was very large and luxurious. Inside, the beams were made of cloud-top sandalwood, the lamps of crystal jade disks, the curtains of pearls, and the pillars were set on Phan Gold bases. The bed was set with a Green Jade Fragrance Pillow, laid with a Soft Silk Ice Bamboo Mat and covered with a Jade Belt Layered Silk Quilt.

Xuexue and the Little Baby were on the roof, utterly confused by what they saw.

Because the outer and inner parts of the house were connected, they could still see everything clearly from the roof even after the girls entered the room.

"Hey! Woman, what are they doing?" The Little Baby was very curious and nudged Xuexue with his little arm as he asked.

Xuexue glanced at him but said nothing.

"Hey! Woman, the Divine Beast is asking you! Are you deaf?" The Little Baby lowered his voice and nudged her again.

"Either call me ’Master’ or ’Sister’; choose one." The cheeky kid, taking advantage of his status as a Thousand-Year Divine Beast, kept calling her ’woman’ with no respect - as if she had no name. Xuexue was quite displeased.

Ah! The Divine Beast has lived for over a thousand years, and a mere human dares to demand that he call her ’Sister’? This ’Master’, thinking too highly of herself?

"Humph! Dream on!" The Little Baby couldn’t help blurting out exactly what he was thinking.

"So, you’re not going to say it, huh?"

"I’d rather die than say it!" The Little Baby turned his face away with a haughty air. This was a serious issue; it was a matter of integrity.

"Then from now on, don’t talk to me. Even if you ask me something, I won’t respond." Xuexue declared she had her own principles too.

While they were whispering and bickering, light footsteps came from below.

"Prince, the girls are ready," said the voice of the Old Maid from before.

"Mm! I don’t need you here, you may leave. Come back and clean up tomorrow morning." A magnetic male voice replied, pleasant and sexy to the ears.

Xuexue and the Little Baby instantly fell silent and lifted their heads, shifting their gaze from inside the room to the hallway. In the hazy moonlight, they saw three figures standing outside.

Through the glowing mask on the man’s face, it was evident that this was the War Prince, with a guard standing behind him.

After they finished speaking with the Old Maid, they pushed the door and entered the room.

Xuexue peered through a hole where a roof tile was missing and was startled by what she saw.

Oh my goodness! What on earth has happened!?

The girls, previously so dignified, now looked entirely different. Their faces were confused; they appeared to be barely conscious.

The Little Baby asked, "What are they doing?"

Xuexue replied, "Are you stupid? Isn’t it obvious? There must’ve been something wrong with the tea they drank just now."

The Little Baby asked, "Why would the Prince do this?"

Xuexue answered, "You’re asking me? Who should I ask?"

This was their first time sneaking into the War Prince’s Mansion at night, and the discovery was shocking. Xuexue felt shivers down her spine; despite the rumors that the War Prince favored women, the truth seemed to be otherwise.
