Rebirth of the Peak Young Master -
Chapter 325: True Colors
Chapter 325: Chapter 325: True Colors
Because amidst an even more violent and ferocious bombardment than before, they once again saw the monster in their hearts—the black-haired Chinese Warrior!
Step by step, they watched him in the sky, as if walking on an invisible path only he could see.
Whether it was shells, standard missiles, or cruise missiles, all were blocked by black flames, unable to inflict any harm.
No resistance at all—could he truly neutralize so many missiles?
"Unbelievable... a monster!"
"Mom! I... I want to go home!"
"God! Have you sent your envoy to punish our Japan?"
The soldiers on the island had already been driven to madness by the sight before them.
This was the collapse of their psyche.
Their faith, their confidence—all shattered in an instant, just like the black-haired young man in the sky, each step he took was like a direct stomp on their hearts, breaking them utterly.
This utter collapse and insanity, however, didn’t seem to garner even a flicker of emotion in the terrifying young man’s eyes.
He raised his blade once more, devoid of sorrow or joy, and slashed fiercely at the cruiser.
Boom!
Moments later, the cruiser broke away from the Red Sun, slashed apart.
Then another one, and another... three, four, five...
As the last remaining cruiser retreated, Takeuchi trembled all over.
As the man approached slowly, Takeuchi finally saw the face of the phantom.
"It’s... it’s him! It’s really him! He’s returned from hell for revenge. Yang... Yang Tian!"
"Impossible... is it truly him? Wasn’t he dead? Why... why was the United States’ information false?"
When Sakamoto Hikaruta heard the news from the frontlines, he slumped into his chair in shock.
In the battle years ago during the Eastern Capital War, Japan’s First, Second, and Seventeenth Divisions, led by its highest-ranking commander, had encircled and suppressed Yang Tian.
But the outcome of that war?
All three divisions were obliterated, five fighter jets taken down by Yang Tian, and the Eastern Capital’s entire economy and infrastructure were left in ruins from the war!
They had presumed Yang Tian perished, thinking the humiliation had been buried in ice under China’s soil.
But now, what do they see?
The very nightmare wrapped tightly around the core of every Japanese soldier’s soul, the very terror that haunted them in their waking hours—he had never died.
He was here again!
This realization caused Sakamoto Hikaruta to lose all strength immediately. The very thought of escape clawed desperately at his mind.
"Commander Sakamoto! Commander Sakamoto!"
Just then, the voice of an assistant nearby suddenly pulled Sakamoto Hikaruta back from his daze.
"Commander Sakamoto, what... what should we do now?"
"What do we do?"
At the sound of these words, Sakamoto Hikaruta roared immediately, "What else can we do? Deploy the Lawn Mower immediately!"
"The... Lawn Mower?"
Everyone at headquarters couldn’t help but gasp for air.
The reason was evident—the Lawn Mower was one of the three aircraft carriers belonging to Japan’s Self-Defense Navy.
Even though the aircraft carrier itself didn’t possess particularly destructive firepower, it acted as a mothership for carrier-based fighter jets, providing them with ammunition and energy supply!
It was one of the largest, most sophisticated, and most formidable weapons systems in the world.
Apart from nuclear weapons, an aircraft carrier was a symbol of a nation’s comprehensive power—and only a handful of great powers worldwide had the capacity to build them!
The island nation’s most advanced large-scale aircraft carrier, like the Straw Shaver, boasted a fighter-carrying capacity of up to sixty units!
And now such a lethal weapon was to be used against one single man.
It shattered the worldview of every soldier from Japan. How could they not be shocked?
But Sakamoto Hikaruta was unyielding, snarling, "Didn’t you hear me? Who is it that we’re facing? That’s Yang Tian! The devil who took out five fighter jets by himself on our soil. Opposing him is like fighting not just one army but five! Such a man must be eradicated, or our nation will meet its doom."
At these words, everyone immediately snapped to awareness, their faces heavy with determination as they nodded.
"The Grass Cutting, prepare for deployment to the war zone!"
"Cao Haohao, target all forces at eliminating the Red Sun’s enemy!"
"The Lawn Mower, ready for immediate launch!"
In less than a heartbeat, commands rippled across the control room, mobilizing Japan’s most advanced aircraft carrier, the Straw Shaver.
Sakamoto’s eyes glinted sinisterly as he gazed ahead, muttering to himself, "This time, I will see you dead. Dead—forever beyond revival!"
...
BOOM!
In the East Sea, explosions continued to resound.
Floating atop the water were only the remains of Japan’s cruisers and countless bloodied corpses.
But Yang Tian held no semblance of pity.
He knew that if he hadn’t come here, it would have been himself—as well as his Chinese compatriots—dying on this spot instead!
For some people, one or two lessons weren’t enough to sear it into their memory. Yang Tian didn’t mind enacting a sweeping purge this time, ensuring they’d live in his shadow forevermore!
As for the thirteen cruisers? That was merely the beginning!
Unsurprisingly, this epic war had attracted numerous war correspondents.
Among them, Jenny and Zhao Ping, who had met Yang Tian in the Astor Ron Mountains, naturally were here as well.
Watching Yang Tian slash through cruisers like a deity, Jenny’s face was pale, while Zhao Ping, next to her, could barely keep his camera steady.
"Oh my god! This man is like a god! So, God is Chinese!"
Jenny covered her mouth, her gaze fixed on Yang Tian in disbelief.
But she quickly elbowed Zhao Ping, scolding him urgently, "What are you staring at? Take the shot already! If we get this out, we’ll never have to worry about anything for the rest of our lives."
"Oh! Right, yes! I’ll shoot!"
Brought back to his senses by her scolding, Zhao Ping quickly refocused, aiming his camera at Yang Tian’s proud figure slicing through the sky.
But just as his lens was locked on Yang Tian, he furrowed his brows. "Jenny—what’s that over there? The island nation’s fleet?"
"What fleet? Let me see!"
Jenny was thoroughly annoyed at her admiration being interrupted but quickly raised her binoculars to look in Zhao Ping’s direction.
And as soon as she saw it, she let out a startled cry.
"That... that’s an aircraft carrier! It’s an aircraft carrier! It’s the Lawn Mower. My God, Japan has deployed an aircraft carrier!"
Aircraft carrier?
One by one, the reporters froze at Jenny’s declaration, before quickly scrambling for their binoculars. Soon enough, in the midst of the raging ocean, a colossal steel monstrosity appeared before their eyes, plowing through the stormy waves.
"It’s true... it really is an aircraft carrier! Oh my God... is Japan finally serious this time?"
"Nonsense! Do you think they weren’t serious after losing thirteen cruisers? But an aircraft carrier... this is going way too far, isn’t it?"
"Perhaps it’s because they’re preparing to face the Chinese Navy. Otherwise, dispatching an aircraft carrier for a single man seems absurd. Absolutely excessive!"
While Japan’s command structure buzzed with action, the reporters could only stand in shock and amazement.
Suddenly, a blonde, blue-eyed journalist muttered under his breath, "Whatever the case... these images must be captured. Perhaps..."
"Perhaps what?"
The crowd promptly turned towards him, hearing his solemn voice continue:
"Perhaps we are now witnessing the birth of history!"
The birth of history?
Upon hearing this, the reporters fell into silence. One after another, they lifted their cameras, lenses all trained on the distant edge of the ocean.
"An aircraft carrier?"
With his razor-sharp instincts, Yang Tian naturally heard the murmurs of the reporters, even as his attention shifted toward the steel monster cutting through the waves!
Yet, Yang Tian remained utterly fearless, stepping forward with unyielding determination.
