Rebirth of the Peak Young Master
Chapter 306: Retreat Three Miles

Chapter 306: Chapter 306: Retreat Three Miles

While Yang Tian and Silver Wolf were training in the cave, a young man dressed in medieval knight armor stood at the exact spot where the Sentinel had brought Yang Tian and Silver Wolf before, gazing at the mountain range where the Shengxi Soil rested and smiling faintly.

"Meeting an old friend is always special! Fallen Knight Jerman, wouldn’t you agree?" An elderly man, tall and thin, slowly emerged from the forest, chuckling lightly as he spoke.

The armored man frowned slightly upon hearing the old man’s voice but quickly forced a smile, replying, "Master Gandhi, I haven’t been a knight for many years now, so please stop addressing me this way, alright?"

Even as the armored man smiled, a flicker of brutality flashed through his eyes.

However, Master Gandhi seemed oblivious and continued chuckling. "Haha, I must have forgotten. Ever since you defected from the church, Jerman, and became the leader of the North American Black Forces, perhaps I should call you Fallen Knight Jerman!"

"Gandhi, it seems that your India plans to endure our Black Forces’ invasion, doesn’t it?" Jerman scoffed coldly.

"Haha, our Indian Yoga Warriors won’t fear you, and most importantly, I won’t fear you either! Don’t forget, the Dante’s Bounty List is merely an evaluation; the true test of superiority between us lies in a battle!" Master Gandhi replied with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Jerman let out a furious roar and moved to strike. Yet, just as they were about to clash, a sudden burst of frost appeared between them, forming an icy wall that separated them.

Seeing this, Jerman and Gandhi were stunned and immediately looked behind them.

From the direction of the forest, all the trees, flowers, and grass were suddenly besieged by frost, transforming into an icy, snow-covered world. A graceful woman dressed in white silk emerged slowly, speaking coldly, "I’ve come for the Divine-level Treasure. Don’t block my way!"

"Ice Snow Empress Wendy, ranked third on the Dante’s Bounty List!"

Both Jerman and Gandhi’s expressions darkened. They knew full well that the woman before them was superior to them in both strength and ranking.

"Indeed, I agree. Moreover, I suggest you exercise restraint in front of certain individuals," said another tall man, his golden hair gleaming as he stepped out behind Wendy.

"Lion King Leo, ranked second on the Dante’s Bounty List!"

Shock overtook Gandhi and Jerman again, but before they could refute Leo’s words, they realized why he had spoken in such a manner.

At that moment, a man with long, blood-red hair and eyes radiating eerie intensity began walking out. His name struck fear every time it was mentioned throughout the Underworld.

Evil God Kate!

As they watched Evil God Kate step forward, Jerman, previously defiant, and Gandhi, who prided himself on his cunning, immediately abandoned any thoughts of continuing their fight.

Ever since news of a Divine-level Treasure surfaced, they had anticipated how challenging this journey would be, which explains their early arrival.

But they hadn’t expected such a gathering of elite individuals—their presence certainly elevated the stakes.

The arrival of Dante’s Bounty List’s top-ranked evil beings, especially Evil God Kate, surpassed anything they had imagined.

Kate gazed over Leo, Jerman, and the other top-ranked individuals on Dante’s Bounty List in a regal manner, then spoke indifferently, "I presume your objective aligns with mine, does it not?"

Upon hearing these words, Wendy, Leo, Jerman, and Master Gandhi furrowed their brows, their bodies tense, ready for any sudden moves from Evil God Kate.

Given the stakes of the Divine-level Treasure, none of them were willing to retreat as they had done before when confronted by Evil God Kate.

Should Kate attempt to dominate the treasure outright, a fierce battle against him would be inevitable!

After all, the gathered individuals here comprised Dante’s Bounty List’s top-ranked elite. Not to mention, lurking in the forest were other strong fighters, albeit lower-ranked, hoping to exploit the chaos.

If they were to fight, even someone as strong as Evil God Kate might find himself overwhelmed!

True to form, Kate, who was accustomed to acting tyrannically, hesitated upon observing their defensiveness.

Nonetheless, what was clear to Leo and the others was equally apparent to Kate. He issued a cold snort, declaring, "Since the treasure has yet to reveal its authenticity, I have no interest in wasting energy on you now. But if any of you wish to challenge me at this moment, I wouldn’t mind spending the time and effort!"

Hearing this, Leo, Jerman, and the others breathed a collective sigh of relief.

They, too, didn’t want to start fighting before even locating the treasure, lest those lurking in the shadows steal it amidst the chaos and disgrace them all.

Master Gandhi stepped forward slowly, smiling, "That sounds reasonable. If Kate agrees, why don’t we head together toward the mountain range? Once the treasure appears, we’ll let our abilities decide its ownership. Is that acceptable?"

"Sure!"

"Let’s do it!"

"Agreed!"

Everyone voiced their approval, and Evil God Kate nodded faintly.

For the moment, consensus was reached among the gathered elite.

Witnessing their decision not to brawl, the lesser-ranked fighters hiding in the forest let out disappointed sighs.

Only one individual felt differently—Tyrant Mickey, ranked twenty-eighth on Dante’s Bounty List.

He knew it was thanks to the message he spread that all these elite figures had come together.

It was clear to him that these individuals weren’t foolish enough to fight prematurely.

After all, they dominated Dante’s Bounty List’s top six spots—a true assembly of the Underworld’s apex warriors!

Master Gandhi, an ancient Yoga Warrior from India, who also practiced curse techniques and poison arts. Ranked sixth on Dante’s Bounty List!

Fallen Knight Jerman, formerly the Holy Knight Commander of the church, defected for unknown reasons. His mastery of Holy Light spells turned into sinister Black Magic, laden with eerie intrigue. Ranked fifth on Dante’s Bounty List!

Ice Snow Empress Wendy, a Superpower User from Brittania Empire, whose frost-related powers could freeze lands for miles and bring an entire small nation to its knees. Ranked fourth on Dante’s Bounty List!

Lion King Leo, of mysterious origin. Rumored to be the last surviving experiment from an early batch of genetically modified humans created by the United States in the 1980s. Ranked third on Dante’s Bounty List!

Evil God Kate, the most enigmatic figure in the Underworld. Said to be a descendant of an ancient Demon God or perhaps one of the Blood Clan’s progenitors. Once targeted by a nation deploying a fleet of warships, he managed to wound many vessels, kill hundreds of crew members, and escape gravely injured, further solidifying his status as one of the world’s highest-level threats. Ranked second on Dante’s Bounty List!

Thus, the top six ranked fighters on Dante’s Bounty List, barring number one, had assembled.

Why was the first absent? Mickey knew all too well—the strongest had already arrived and reached the distant mountain range.

Indeed!

After a decisive battle in Japan, Yang Tian had risen to fame!

The new edition of Dante’s Bounty List had seen him leap ahead, pushing everyone below Evil God Kate down a rank, solidifying his position as the first-ranked killing god—Mr. Yang!

It was the information Mickey had gathered over the last few days.
