Rebirth: Living in Wilderness with My Superpower
Chapter 520: Ah Dao’s Adventure

Chapter 520: Chapter 520: Ah Dao’s Adventure

At that moment, Ah Dao closed his eyes as if in meditation, and Li Wenli poked him on the knee.

"You can play dead, but I have plenty of ways to make you talk."

"And didn’t you say that you loved this young master the most in the world? Now you’re willing to deceive your own master for a woman?"

Ah Dao, hearing this, opened his eyes reluctantly and dryly explained, "No love, Young Master, mind your words."

Two grown men talking about love, if the old master heard this, who knows, he might just leap out of his coffin to make him kneel in the ancestral hall.

Li Wenli smirked in triumph, "I don’t care, just explain yourself to your master quickly."

Thus began the trial of Ah Dao by the three courts.

Bai Junjun and Li Wenli sat inside the horse carriage, arms crossed in front of their chests, leaning against the carriage walls, waiting expectantly for Ah Dao to speak.

They looked just like parents waiting for their prematurely romantic child to give an account.

Ah Dao sighed helplessly and began to recount the previous night’s experience.

Speaking of last night, Ah Dao saw Li Wenli and Bai Junjun sneak off like thieves, and he too quietly followed after them.

However, the fog was too thick outside, and the speed of Bai Junjun and Li Wenli was too fast; he had lost them almost as soon as he stepped outside.

Ah Dao had no choice but to follow his instincts in pursuit.

After only a few steps, he suddenly heard the sound of a bell behind him and turned around in confusion to find a mysterious blue figure, like a ghost, had silently approached him.

Ah Dao was someone who had mastered the Gale Decree, which in plain terms meant he had the Agility Ability.

Even with the Special Ability, he couldn’t shake off this deep blue figure, which moved around him like a phantom, elusive at his every turn.

Ah Dao dodged for a while but still couldn’t shake it off, so he changed from evasion to attack.

Unexpectedly, the Shadow was quicker than he was; he couldn’t touch it at all.

Just as Ah Dao started to doubt his own abilities, he suddenly heard a barely-there tinkle of a bell not far away.

This sound brought him to a sharp realization: the mysterious blue figure, although swift, had not made a single sound, not even the noise of breaking wind.

This was contrary to common sense unless it was merely an apparition.

Having thought it through, Ah Dao pretended to engage with the Shadow while he listened for the bell in the fog, and when he heard it again, he abandoned the Shadow and rushed toward the sound of the bell at top speed.

Wu Nuan never expected this man to be so astute as to pinpoint her location.

But Ah Dao had only estimated her approximate location; he charged so fiercely that he ended up standing almost nose to nose with Wu Nuan.

Ah Dao, seeing the cold-faced woman before him, was taken aback but his strikes with the Mysterious Dipper were unwavering, slashing straight out at her.

Wu Nuan instinctively leaned back, her waist bending like a willow branch, evading the Mysterious Dipper. As she did, silver needles flew from her sleeve towards Ah Dao’s face.

Ah Dao spun to dodge, and once again, they created distance between them.

As they eyed each other, sizing up their opponent’s strength, suddenly countless Green Snakes surged from all directions, so dense they fell like fine rain.

Seeing this, Wu Nuan’s brows inverted in distress, and the Green Snakes forced both her and Ah Dao back together.

Wu Nuan glanced at Ah Dao’s Mysterious Dipper and said, "Help me escape this trap, and I’ll spare your life."

"..." Ah Dao coldly curled his lips, "Help me escape this trap, and I’ll spare yours."

"..." Wu Nuan was left speechless. With disaster upon them, she couldn’t be bothered to argue with Ah Dao any longer and took out a bottle of powder from her bosom.
