Chapter 445: Where is My Young Master?
Chapter 445: Chapter 445: Where is My Young Master?
"Instead of being a decent person, she had to try to break through the supernatural. Well, she can’t be blamed now!"
With the life-prolonging help of this space, the two of them were no longer afraid.
They fought like guerrilla warriors, retreating back to the space to drink water and restore their energy whenever they got tired, then coming back out to leisurely kill zombies.
The feeling of being cornered had vanished, and now it was the living dead who were in dire straits.
These two individuals were incredibly eerie, disappearing and reappearing unpredictably.
Black Six, standing above, couldn’t believe his eyes.
When they disappeared for the first time, he thought that these two had finally given up and were devoured alive by the Underworld Soldiers.
However, within a short while, they reappeared among the hordes of living dead, seemingly tireless and growing more vigorous as the battle raged on.
It seemed those Underworld Soldiers were really useless, losing their ability to move once beheaded. No matter how he commanded, the living dead didn’t budge.
He was nearly frantic with worry.
But the Underworld Soldiers continued to diminish visibly, fewer and fewer by the moment.
When there were fewer than a hundred left, Black Six couldn’t contain himself and thought of escaping. However, at that moment, the young man suddenly stopped killing the living dead and charged towards him.
Even though they were far apart, Black Six didn’t dare delay and hurriedly turned to run towards the cave behind him.
Li Wenli glanced at Bai Junjun.
Bai Junjun, feeling Li Wenli’s gaze, couldn’t help saying, "I can handle this. You go after him."
"Okay," Li Wenli smiled with a hint of madness.
Then he didn’t bother running anymore but jumped directly from one level to a higher one, taking a straight line along the circular walkway with his agile brute force.
Soon he had reached the top of the dome, but what he saw was not Black Six but a pitch-black corridor, the end of which was unknown, lit again with the dim glow of candlelight.
Li Wenli didn’t think twice and charged in.
Meanwhile, Bai Junjun was downstairs decimating zombies. Her Vermilion Demon grew brighter and more agile with each use.
The final hundred living dead were effortlessly slain by her sword.
When Ah Dao returned, he saw only Bai Junjun standing amid a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.
She stood like a queen atop the bodies, guzzling Magical Wood Water.
Ah Dao had no time for shock; noticing only Bai Junjun present and Li Wenli nowhere to be found, he panicked deeply.
"Where is my young master?"
Bai Junjun looked at the suddenly appearing Ah Dao in surprise. "Didn’t you lot leave?"
Ah Dao remained silent.
Bai Junjun was speechless, realizing Ah Dao had sent Xiao Chan and the others away and then come back.
It was bold of him to shuttle back and forth in this ancient tomb, wasn’t he afraid of encountering any ghosts or monsters?
"Where is my young master?" Ah Dao still asked, his face pale as though trying to suppress his anxiety.
"He went upstairs chasing someone," Bai Junjun answered.
"!" Ah Dao let out a slight sigh of relief.
He had feared that his master...
Ah Dao couldn’t afford to linger on the thought and ran ahead.
However, he had barely reached the stairs when he heard footsteps from behind again.
Bai Junjun turned to look.
Good, Smiling Face, Old Monk, Xiao Chan, and Rabbit had also returned.
It seemed that these people had gone out and returned out of boredom.
Compared to Bai Junjun’s speechlessness, Xiao Chan and the others who had run back and forth were flabbergasted.
In the time it took to run out and back, the swarm of living dead had turned into real corpses.
"This..."
Thinking of Li Wenli still fighting alone upfront, Bai Junjun had no time to explain.
