Rebirth: Living in Wilderness with My Superpower
Chapter 201: The Great Thief

Chapter 201: Chapter 201: The Great Thief

At that moment, the wild bees in the bushes did not know they were about to face a grave fate. They were still busily carrying on their tasks, diligently regurgitating nectar to feed the beehive.

Just then, a wave of heat rolled in.

Wild bees are naturally heat-averse and, feeling this unprecedented heat wave assault, initially thought their predator, the bear, had arrived. However, when they turned around, they saw a burst of flames soaring into the sky, prompting them to panic and frantically flee with a buzz.

The sky instantly turned dark with wild bees, causing one’s scalp to tingle from the sight.

People were stunned, and so were the wild bees.

Only the flames that had suddenly risen were growing larger, and the wild bees knew they were no match and hurried off in a panic.

Bai Junjun seized the moment and agilely climbed the tree. She took out a stone awl to cut off the part of the beehive attached to the tree branches; then, removing her hood, she quickly descended with the bucket-sized beehive.

Li Wenli was still, swinging a long torch until the flames gradually died down. He then caught up with the fleeing Bai Junjun.

Bai Junjun had a good memory and didn’t need Li Wenli to lead the way back to the Misdirection Tracing Array; she ran back unabated.

Meanwhile, a wild boar trapped in a sandpit watched these two people rush back and forth hurriedly, feeling utterly frustrated. It had roamed the jungle so imperiously for many years but had never been so disregarded by any creature.

These weird bipedal creatures were exceptionally rude!

At that time, the rude Bai Junjun and Li Wenli hurried back to the camp. Although their round trip was quick, it had taken nearly a Shichen Chinese Time.

By now, the hot water that Bai Sasa and the children had been boiling was bubbling vigorously for quite some time, to the point that they had even added several rounds of water, fearing it might boil dry.

It was only after waiting so long that they saw their elder sister returning with something large.

Bai Sasa immediately went forward to assist her.

Bai Junjun didn’t let her help but instead placed the wrapped beehive on the ground and stood gasping for air, awaiting the belated Li Wenli.

At that moment, Li Wenli jogged over, his face full of smiles.

"What should we do,"

Bai Junjun, too exhausted to bother with niceties, cut straight to the point.

Still catching his breath, Li Wenli calmed himself before saying, "Leave it to me."

Li Wenli said as he took over.

He first instructed Bai Sasa to bring over all the empty jars, and then under everyone’s watchful eyes, Li Wenli opened up the hooded sack, revealing a large dirt ball with several wild bees clinging to it.

Everyone was startled, especially Xiao Shan, who plopped down to the ground.

"Mama Feng..."

Bai Sasa and Bai Lingyu were merely frightened by the insects, not knowing what these creatures were, but seeing Xiao Shan so panicked made them anxious.

"Are they very dangerous?"

"They’re poisonous, and a sting could kill," Xiao Shan warned nervously.

Bai Lingyu and Bai Sasa tightened their little faces as their bodies tensed with nervousness.

"It’s okay," Li Wenli said as he took out a dagger and gently flicked the beehive.

The few wild bees seemed to realize they were outnumbered and, provoked by the knife, simply flew away.

Li Wenli then leisurely sliced the beehive, and golden honey immediately began to flow out, quickly filling three large jars.

Bai Sasa and Bai Lingyu looked on curiously, while Xiao Shan continuously swallowed saliva.

Seeing this, Li Wenli cut each of them a piece of honey candy and said, "Eat."

"Can we... really eat it?" Bai Sasa asked, incredulous.

"Of course," Li Wenli replied with certainty, nodding.

The three children then hesitantly reached out to take it.
