Qiu Da, feeling sorry for his son staying up late with them, patted his head and urged him to keep sleeping.

The group listened to their words, dumbstruck for a moment. However, exhausted from the journey, no one thought deeply about it, their focus still occupied by the sheer magnitude of their group of over a thousand people.

Thankfully, once inside the mansion, the thousand-plus crowd did not follow, allowing everyone to finally breathe a sigh of relief.

For ancient people, lamp oil and candles were expensive and it was rare to light lamps at night. By this point, it was already well past 3 a.m., and everyone was worn out. Continuing to fuss about was pointless.

Thus, everyone randomly picked a room and, upon seeing a bed, collapsed into sleep.

Bai Junjun yawned and entered her room, but the next second she noticed extremely faint footfalls. Turning her head, she saw Fox grinning mischievously as he followed her inside.

"?" Bai Junjun blinked in confusion.

Without warning, Fox suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist, spun her around several times, and the two of them ended up in the bathroom.

The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation setup, equipped not just with a showerhead but also a bathtub. As soon as Li Wenli entered, he turned on the tap for the bathtub, letting steaming water gush inside.

The sound of rushing water filled her ears, Fox’s ambiguous grin occupied her vision, and his faintly manly scent tickled her nose. Bai Junjun found herself completely disoriented, as though floating on clouds.

It wasn’t until Li Wenli’s hand slid from her waist to her back that Bai Junjun snapped out of it, raising an eyebrow. "You smelly brat, what do you think you’re doing?"

Li Wenli snorted and laughed, "Has our dear lady forgotten our agreement? Now that we’re back in the Ownerless Land, shouldn’t we move our wedding onto the agenda?"

"???" Bai Junjun’s mouth fell open in disbelief—was she hearing him right?

This guy sure was in a hurry! Was he messing with her?

Watching her utterly flabbergasted expression, Li Wenli couldn’t help but chuckle. "Are you overwhelmed with joy?"

Bai Junjun responded with an exasperated slap to his shoulder.

"You’re the one overdoing it! Talking nonsense in the dead of the night?"

But just as she finished speaking, Li Wenli tightened his grip, locking her in his embrace. "I don’t want to wait even a single day."

Li Wenli lowered his head, aiming for a kiss on her face. The next second, however, he felt Bai Junjun abruptly grab his arm and apply force, then with a sudden "splash," he found himself falling into the bathwater.

Li Wenli stared wide-eyed in confusion. "What are you doing?"

"What do you mean ’what’?!" Bai Junjun stood at the edge of the bathtub and lightly knocked on his forehead. "Take a good soak and clear your head."

Just as Bai Junjun was about to leave, the next moment she felt her wrist tighten, followed by the sensation of warm water soaking through her clothes.

Turns out, Li Wenli had expertly pulled Bai Junjun right into the bathwater along with him.
