Chapter 239: Chapter 239: Reunion (Part 2)
Mo Siyu gave Qin Anhao a cold glance, instantly stifling his joyful laughter.
"An Hao, next time we go to Shenzhen, you’re not included," Mo Siyu’s deep voice rang out.
Qin Anhao, who had just been laughing, instantly changed his expression. He was so mad that he started hopping, "Si Yu, you can’t do this to me, it’s boring to just run around near Jing City every day."
"The clients around Jing City will depend on you," continued Mo Siyu.
Qin Anhao wore a despondent expression.
He enjoyed delivering goods by driving around. Staying in Jing City all the time would suffocate him!

At Tang Mingli’s home.
Wei Jiajia was peeling an apple to eat. Now she was nearing the last two months of her pregnancy, with a significantly big belly, and her trips to the garment factory had become especially scarce; she spent most of her time at home.
"Xiao Yue, where did you come from? Why are you all sweaty?" Wei Jiajia eyed Tang Yue’s sweaty head and her flushed cheeks, then said, "You’ve come at just the right time. Apples and watermelon, which one do you want to eat?"
Pregnancy made her hungry quickly, and it was not unusual for Wei Jiajia to eat five or six meals a day.
"No, thanks." Tang Yue was not in the mood for anything at the moment. She asked, "Little aunt, has uncle not come back yet?"
"He should still be in the garment factory," Wei Jiajia had just replied.
Tang Yue ran off rapidly, leaving only her silhouette behind.
"What’s going on?" Wei Jiajia stared at her retreating figure, muttering to herself.
Feeling that even walking was a waste of time, Tang Yue raced to the garment factory and caught Tang Mingli, who was just about to head home, and said, "Uncle, I need to talk to you about something."
"Drink some water first." Tang Mingli poured tea for Tang Yue; she was all sweaty and looked anxious, which made him wonder if something had happened at the factory.
But he had spent the entire day at the factory, and everything was fine; there were no problems at all.
"Uncle." Tang Yue quickly explained Mo Siyu’s situation and concluded, "I need to go to Jing City."
"Jing City is far away, and you need to change trains. Going alone..." Tang Mingli hadn’t finished speaking.
Tang Yue interrupted, "Uncle, I must go. I just wanted to ask how to tell my parents."
Call her crazy or stubborn, but if she couldn’t see Mo Siyu with her own eyes, her heart wouldn’t be at peace.
"This..." Tang Mingli thought for a moment and said, "Just tell them you have something to do in Shenzhen. By then, your second brother and his wife won’t know. But I’m worried about you going alone. I’ll accompany you. Is his leg really going to be disabled? What exactly did the doctor say?"
If Mo Siyu’s leg was truly ruined, what would happen to Xiao Yue?
His exceptionally promising niece, her future husband must certainly stand out from the rest.
"No, little aunt is still pregnant, you can’t leave," Tang Yue refused. "Uncle, I’ve just turned eighteen—I’m an adult now. Besides, do you really think I’m so foolish to be easily deceived?"
"This is not like going to Shenzhen; it’s a two-day train ride," Tang Mingli reminded her, but what she said wasn’t wrong. Jiajia’s due date was in two months; who knows if anything unexpected would happen. If there was premature birth and he wasn’t there, that made him even more worried.
"Uncle, don’t worry, I’ll be fine," Tang Yue said, intending to go home and pack, planning to take the earliest bus to Provincial City the next day to catch the train to Jiang City.
Tang Mingli pondered for a long time before saying, "This way, give me his phone number so I can contact him if anything happens."
After Tang Yue gave him the phone number, she went home.
Tang Zhengde and Zhang Hualian were reluctant to let her go to Shenzhen alone, but after Tang Yue’s persuasion and considering that she had been to Shenzhen several times and was familiar with the place, they relented.
In the factory, Tang Mingli kept dialing the number Tang Yue had given him, but nobody answered.
After pondering, Tang Mingli discussed sending Tang Yue to Jing City with Tang Jun that very evening. Tang Jun immediately said, "Let’s go, I’ll go too."
"I want to go too." Wei Jiajie’s eyes lit up upon hearing about going to Jing City; Zhu Yuanchao had been telling stories about Jing City lately, making them all yearn for it.
Now that there was a chance, they all wanted to go.
"I’m going too," Zhang Qiang chimed in, not wanting to be left behind.
Tang Mingli glared at them and said, "We’re not going for fun, you know?"
"Uncle, the three of us are skilled, and besides, ’three cobblers make a genius,’" Wei Jiajie said, eager to join the military; he had pulled out all the stops.
Zhang Qiang almost used every trick in the book, as he had completely changed and no longer was into video gaming like before.
Since school started earlier this year, he played a few times, but realized that exercising or reading was more interesting. Fearful of falling behind the hardworking Wei Jiajie, he had been incredibly diligent in the past six months.
The next morning.
Tang Jun, Wei Jiajie, and Zhang Qiang followed Tang Yue to the bus station. Tang Yue was dumbfounded when she heard they were going too.
Well, Wei Jiajie and Tang Jun had money, only Zhang Qiang didn’t, but Wei Jiajie generously covered the cost of the tickets.
"Xiao Jun, this isn’t a gamesome matter," Tang Yue disagreed, adding, "It’s Jing City; what if you get lost?"
"Sister, that’s even more reason for us to go. I’m even more worried if you’re alone," Tang Jun adopted a grown-up demeanor.
"Exactly, sister, the three of us will protect you," Zhang Qiang patted his chest as he spoke.
Wei Jiajie also said, "Sister Xiao Yue, just let us come with you. We promise to behave and listen to you, we won’t cause trouble, and we’ve been to Jing City before too."
Watching as the bus was about to leave, Tang Yue couldn’t resist them any longer, so, instead of going alone, four of them set off together.
On the train.
It wasn’t Wei Jiajie’s first time on a train, but it was for Tang Jun and Zhang Qiang; they were excitedly looking everywhere.
Jing City Train Station.
Mo Siyu, still recuperating from his injury, insisted on coming to the train station to pick up Tang Yue. It would take over two hours to reach his motorcade from here, and if there was no vehicle available, he’d even need to walk a part of the way. He just couldn’t bear the thought of Xiao Yue suffering.
As people started to exit the train station, Mo Siyu, in shirt and trousers, sat in a wheelchair, his dark eyes constantly searching through the crowd.
The wheelchair had been prepared by Li Wei, who joked that if little sister-in-law came, seeing Mo Siyu standing upright might lead her to think that Brother Mo was deceiving her.
"Li Wei, have you spotted her?" Mo Siyu asked.
Usually trusting his own sight, he was afraid he might have missed her.
"No." Li Wei shook his head, standing behind Mo Siyu, and muttered to himself that if Mo Siyu hadn’t seen her, he was even less likely to have seen her.
