Chapter 163: Chapter 163: The First Hug (Sixth Update)

"This is..." Tang Yue had a faint suspicion in her heart, but looking at the address, she felt uncertain again.

"Write to me." Mo Siyu’s words were, as usual, concise.

Tang Yue carefully unfolded the paper and said, "I will write to you. When are you leaving?"

"The day after tomorrow." Mo Siyu looked at her, clearly not leaving until the day after tomorrow, but at this very moment, the sentiment of reluctance seemed to be filling him.

"Oh, have a smooth journey." Tang Yue put on a smile and sincerely spoke her well wishes.

Mo Siyu accompanied her back to the factory. He didn’t talk much; it was Tang Yue’s light-hearted words, chattering like a little bird singing, that made the trip back. Usually, he detested the nagging of women, but Tang Yue’s words were something he could listen to endlessly without ever growing weary of them.

On her way back to the factory, Tang Yue kept muttering to herself. If there really was something urgent, seeking Chu Hong’s help from Wangjiang County to Provincial City would take hours—the dishes would be cold by then.

Tang Yue had just returned to the factory when Tang Mingli came up to her and asked, "Xiao Yue, where did you two go for a meal?"

"Yipin Inn," Tang Yue replied.

Tang Mingli had never been there and thought it was just a slightly nicer restaurant. He asked, "Xiao Yue, so you and he..."

"Uncle, you should just hurry up and marry your little aunt. That way you won’t spend all day with a head full of random thoughts," Tang Yue gave him a glare and went into the sample room to work.

Tang Mingli touched his nose and said, "What random thoughts am I thinking of? I was just asking how things are progressing between you two."

In the dead of night, as Tang Yue was drawing design blueprints, she found herself repeatedly recalling Mo Siyu—his every word would echo numerous times in her mind, even his facial expressions and looks would give her something to reminisce about for a long time.

After a while, when Tang Yue came back to her senses, she realized that she had been working on the design draft for quite some time and was about to wrap it up, but she was still stuck on the part she had gone over before.

Tang Yue looked at the stack of papers next to her and couldn’t help but feel the urge to bang her head against a wall.

School was about to start soon, and after it did, having as much time as she currently did to work on many things would be very difficult. Thus, she tried to draw more designs now, so there would be fewer to draw once school began.

Once the autumn clothes sold, it would be time to think about winter clothing. However, by the time winter arrived at the factory, they had to begin work on next summer’s outfits; otherwise, they feared that if they produced clothing in the same season it was meant for, the season would pass before the clothes could be sold.

In a blink of an eye, the day after tomorrow had arrived.

Tang Mingli also knew that Mo Siyu was leaving today. He quietly asked, "Xiao Yue, aren’t you going to see him off?"

"No," Tang Yue pursed her lips in response. She was muttering in her heart that Mrs. Mo would certainly go to see Mo Siyu off. If she saw that Tang Yue was also there to send him off, wouldn’t that be extremely awkward?

"Did he not ask you to come?" Tang Mingli looked at Tang Yue with full curiosity.

Tang Yue gave him a sidelong glance and said, "Uncle, don’t you have things to do today? If I remember correctly, the factory starts production in two days. Is everything prepared?"

"After production starts, all the workers will come here to work. It’s likely that for a long time, you won’t be able to go to the city to fetch goods. Aren’t you taking this time to stock up?" Tang Yue asked in reply.

Tang Mingli was suddenly at a loss for words.

"Xiao Yue." Since Mo Xiaolin had never been to Tang Yue’s house, she could only find Tang Yue by coming to the factory. Upon arriving, she saw Uncle Gen at the entrance. After Mo Xiaolin explained her purpose, Uncle Gen led her into the factory.

Tang Yue was very surprised to see Mo Xiaolin, "Aunt Mo, what brings you here? What happened to your foot?"

Tang Yue’s gaze fell on Mo Xiaolin’s limping foot.

"Xiao Yue." Mo Xiaolin warmly took Tang Yue’s hand saying, "It’s like this, I was actually here to see your factory, but when I got to your place, I realized that Si Yu’s ID card had been left behind; it’s been in my purse the whole time. I might have collected it for him earlier and forgot to give it back to him."

"I was in a hurry to deliver it, but I was too rushed on the way and twisted my ankle, that’s why I came to the factory to ask for your help." Mo Xiaolin explained, pleadingly adding, "Xiao Yue, could you help me deliver this ID card?"

Mo Xiaolin handed the ID card forward.

Tang Yue saw that it indeed belonged to Mo Siyu; people often say that ID photos are the ultimate test of looks, and on Mo Siyu’s ID card, that small picture with his sharply-defined facial features, even though he was stern-faced during the photo-taking, none of his handsome aura was diminished.

"Xiao Yue, his train to the city leaves at eleven." Mo Xiaolin urgently said.

Tang Yue reassured her, "Aunt Mo, don’t worry, I’ll go deliver it for you. You should also get your leg checked out at the hospital."

When Tang Mingli heard what happened and saw Mo Xiaolin’s leg and the matter of delivering the ID card, he decisively chose to take Mo Xiaolin to the hospital.

After all, Mo Siyu wouldn’t be returning from his trip anytime soon, so Xiao Yue delivering the ID card was simply a matter of seeing him for a short while.

"Yes, Xiao Yue is not strong, I worry she won’t be able to support me." Mo Xiaolin walked with great difficulty.

Tang Mingli was a man after all. He found a stick for Mo Xiaolin to lean on and then found a rickshaw to take her to the hospital.

Before Mo Xiaolin left, she reminded Tang Yue again and again to make sure she delivered it to the train station as soon as possible.

Luckily, Tang Yue had been constantly working out and was very quick at running.

By the time she reached the station, Mo Siyu seemed to have realized that his ID wasn’t with him.

"Uncle Mo." Tang Yue said, panting. She waved at Mo Siyu, her cheeks flushed from the running, and large beads of sweat on her forehead fell one by one.

"Xiao Yue?"

A flicker of joy appeared in the depths of Mo Siyu’s eyes.

"Aunt Mo asked me to deliver the ID," Tang Yue said, taking deep breaths as she handed over the ID card.

Mo Siyu took the ID card, his dark pupils flickered, and as he accepted the card, he raised his hand to wipe the sweat from her forehead with his sleeve.

"It wouldn’t matter if the ID card was delivered a bit later," Mo Siyu’s eyes revealed a hint of distress.

"How could that be okay? What if you miss the train?" Tang Yue’s face turned slightly red; thankfully, it was already red from before, so it wasn’t too noticeable now. When he wiped her sweat, she could clearly feel his presence.

"It’s still on time," Mo Siyu said as he stored the ID card safely. In the busy train station, people were coming and going; standing in a corner, they didn’t stand out too much.

Mo Siyu’s deep gaze was fixed on her, and Tang Yue stood in place, a feeling of reluctance surfacing in her heart, she said, "I wish you a smooth journey."

"I’ll write you letters," Tang Yue hastily added.

"Okay." Mo Siyu’s lips curved slightly, and he suddenly raised his hand, tidying her hair and then stepped forward, closing the distance between them. He leaned in, as if to inhale her faint scent, his deep voice resounded in her ear, authoritatively saying, "Don’t get too close to other men, wait for me to come back."
