Chapter 1687: Untitled Chapter 2

"This Primordial Ancestor should have foreseen it, apart from them, who else could possess such capabilities!"

The voice of this Primordial Ancestor was filled with infinite murderous intent and anger, as if it sought to devour the entire universe.

"Send the order, mobilize the entire clan. No matter the cost, these variables must be completely eradicated, under no circumstances can their existence threaten the future of our clan!"

"Whoever dares to oppose our Bizarre Clan must pay a painful price!"

"Hold on." A somewhat calm Primordial Ancestor spoke, "The strength of that group of variables is too great, we must not act rashly, we should plan carefully."

Not just one existence at the Immortal Emperor Level, even for their clan, it’s unimaginable.

Variables are variables, able to turn the impossible into possible.

"If we act hastily and fail, it will only plunge our clan into a greater crisis," continued the Primordial Ancestor.

"We need to plan carefully. That group of variables... is just the tip of the iceberg. The real enemy may still be watching us from the shadows."

The ten Great Mysterious Ancestors suddenly thought of the unknown entity that rescued all the variables in the end.

Even now, despite all their efforts, they have not found a single trace of that person.

That entity is at least on the same level as them, otherwise it wouldn’t be possible. At their level, any external factors are just child’s play.

There was, of course, one thing the Bizarre Clan never voiced.

That is, the mysterious entity hiding in the shadows, not only at the same realm as them.

If it were a one-on-one duel, it might even surpass them; otherwise, it would be impossible to act without leaving any traces unnoticed by them.

Deep within the Ancestral Land, silence fell once again, lasting for a long while, until a female Primordial Ancestor finally spoke:

"Should we consult with the True Ancestor, as this matter is related to him?"

"But the True Ancestor is in seclusion, as you know, his condition is not stable."

"Without the True Ancestor’s intervention, how can we track down that mysterious entity?"

"The True Ancestor has been in seclusion for a long time, unless absolutely necessary, how could we dare disturb him easily?" said a Primordial Ancestor, as large as a mountain, in a deep voice, with a mix of hesitation and reverence.

The oppression when facing the True Ancestor was terrifying, suffocating them, freezing their blood, causing their souls to tremble, that extreme oppression from the bloodline made the ten Great Mysterious Ancestors not dare to awaken him unless it was necessary.

A towering Primordial Ancestor, surrounded by chaotic qi like raging waves, furrowed his brow and said in a deep voice, "That mysterious man’s strength is unfathomable. If the True Ancestor doesn’t intervene, even if we use all our strength, we may not be able to trace him, let alone eliminate that group of variables. Though the True Ancestor’s seclusion is unstable, the current matter concerns the survival of our clan and cannot be afforded any mishaps."

"That group of variables is already capable of killing our clan’s Immortals. If left unchecked, even we might be in danger."

"Though that is true," a cold-faced Primordial Ancestor with deep eyes retorted, "interrupting the True Ancestor’s seclusion, if it affects his state and prevents him from overcoming that critical hurdle, how would we be responsible? The safety of the True Ancestor is also tied to our clan’s future."

"Moreover, before the True Ancestor entered seclusion, he explicitly stated that he should not be disturbed.

If blame falls upon us, who could bear the consequences?"

Asked a hunched Primordial Ancestor in a hoarse voice, worried.

Like them, when mentioning the True Ancestor, a fear akin to facing the high heavens rose within them.

"If out of fear of blame, we do not awaken the True Ancestor, leading to the downfall of our clan, how can we face the ancestors then?" The towering Primordial Ancestor stared directly at the hunched Primordial Ancestor with piercing eyes, "We do not have much time to hesitate. When necessary, indecision leads to chaos."

"In that case, let us request the True Ancestor to emerge from seclusion."

Despite their fear of the lingering might of the Red-Haired Monster, the ten Primordial Ancestors quickly reached a consensus.

They hurried away.

Yet they did not delve deep into the Ancestral Land, instead, they exited the Highland directly, heading towards the Sacrificial Sea.

The Sacrificial Sea, black as ink, vast and boundless, devouring all light and life.

The Sacrificial Sea is larger than The Boundary Sea, an immeasurable grandeur world.

If The Boundary Sea is the graveyard of countless universes, then the Sacrificial Sea is the graveyard of innumerable Supreme Great Realms.

Here lie buried countless Supreme Great Realms, even a universe placed here would be but a mere grain of sand.

Here, it is boundless both literally and figuratively.

Even an existence at the Immortal Emperor Level might get lost here without precise coordinates.

For beings below the Immortal Emperor Level, this is truly a Forbidden Area.

The waters of the Sacrificial Sea are not ordinary, nor the remnants of Great Taoist in The Boundary Sea, but condensed from endless grudges and curses, touching them means death, entering means demise, even if lucky enough to survive, one would be forever lost and fall into an abyss here.

But for the Primordial Ancestors of the Sacrificial Path Realm, these issues were naturally no problem.

For they are too powerful, able to disregard the various sinister phenomena of the Sacrificial Sea.

They followed an ancient trace of time, directly arriving at the core of the Sacrificial Sea.

Here, in stark contrast to scenes outside the Sacrificial Sea, as far as the eye could see, there were massive skeletons everywhere, countless corpses buried here, who knows how many ages have passed.

Every one of them, even turned to skeletons, still emitted supremely powerful auras and waves, commanding reverence from beings.

There was no doubt, the owners of these corpses were supreme beings in life, giants or even Taoist Ancestors, and now they have become nourishment here.

Upon reaching this place, the faces of the ten Great Mysterious Ancestors all showed genuine and utmost piety.

They were like devout believers, kneeling every three steps, progressing along a road built of bones, finally stopping before a passage that resembled an eye.

"True Ancestor, your bloodline has an important matter to request an audience."

The ten Great Mysterious Ancestors looked at each other, then collectively spoke in unison.

Their voices were not loud, more like mumbling to themselves, but together, they caused a roaring rumble here, layer upon layer of bones on the ground vibrated, resonating, like big red drums with peeling paint.

Who knows how much time passed.

Finally, a voice emerged from that eye-like depth,

It was an ancient syllable never before heard in the world, obscure, complex, and amidst its mystery carried an indescribable grandeur and holiness.

When translated:

"Speak."

Upon hearing this voice, the ten Great Mysterious Ancestors all breathed a sigh of relief.

"True Ancestor, we deduced that there is a variable in the future, and now that variable has indeed appeared, disrupting our great undertaking of sacrifice for you."

A Primordial Ancestor respectfully replied in a devout voice.

There was silence, not a sound echoed, the silence was ultimate.

The ten Great Mysterious Ancestors all maintained a solemn expression, their hearts tense.

"With your power, you cannot suppress the variable?"

To the surprise of the ten Great Mysterious Ancestors, the True Ancestor was very calm and not angered by the sudden disturbance.

"There was a chance to suppress that group of variables entirely, but, in the end, a mysterious entity suddenly appeared and rescued all those variables.

The strength of that mysterious being matches ours, and should also have entered the Sacrificial Path State.

We exerted our full ability to trace the karmic imprints, yet gained nothing. Now, the variables resurface, stand against us, and disrupt the Heavenly Sacrifice; we had no choice but to disturb the True Ancestor’s tranquility.

We hope the True Ancestor can reveal the whereabouts of that mysterious being, we will join forces to slay them, and as for the variables, they will collapse without a fight."

The senior-most of the Primordial Ancestors quickly organized the words and roughly explained the matter.

Followed by another deadly silence.

This time, much longer than the last.

Fortunately, after who knows how long, there finally came a voice.

"I am aware of this matter, yet that individual’s situation is special, I cannot deduce anything."
