Chapter 503: Chapter 483: Laboratory Test

Qiu Yu looked at the three people who bustled in and was a bit stunned. "What’s going on? Did you guys get into a fight?" Looking at Cao Yingying’s arm and slightly raising an eyebrow, "Getting into a fight first thing in the morning?"

"You’re the one who got into a fight!" Luo Qianqian rolled her eyes. "Could you help us test this first before calling the police?"

"Test what?" After hearing Luo Qianqian’s request, Qiu Yu immediately frowned, definitely not forgetting what she had in her hands last time. He didn’t believe that such a child could be involved in anything minor or trivial.

Qin Nuan pointed towards the obviously swollen part of Cao Yingying’s bandaged arm, then showed her own palm and wrist to Qiu Yu. "Let’s not explain what happened for now. This matter is quite important."

Seeing that Qin Nuan also had a serious look on her face, Qiu Yu was taken aback, nodded, took the items, and shortly returned, his expression somewhat odd. "There are no fingerprints or bloodstains on the shoes, nor is there any gunpowder residue, so what exactly are you trying to find out?" The shoes were so clean they could reflect his face.

"The shoebox is very clean, too. It’s just that it was wrapped too tightly, and it got a little torn when I was opening it."

Luo Qianqian had a ’just as I thought’ expression on her face, and Qin Nuan wasn’t particularly disappointed; this was within their expectations.

"Thank you," Luo Qianqian said and then turned to hail a cab by the roadside, with Qin Nuan hurrying to follow her.

"You’re just going to leave like this?" Cao Yingying’s face was full of reluctance. "Is this the result?"

Qin Nuan followed Luo Qianqian into the taxi, rolled down the window, and said with a nonchalant look, "Otherwise? It’s clear that we can’t find out anything else, better to go back to class. We can’t afford to get hurt and then skip school, right? If one can’t have both a strong body and a strong Soul, one should at least have one." After she spoke, the taxi started, and Luo Qianqian looked at her with a hint of a smile.

"What’s gotten into you? You’ve started preaching?" After speaking, she looked back, "But is it okay to just leave her like that?"

"Let her fuss about. There’s no evidence to report to the police, and letting her stay at the police station will make her feel more secure, won’t it?" Qin Nuan smiled, a trace of a bloodthirsty smirk appearing on her face. "Hiding is not my style; I like to seek out the truth."

Then she saw the slightly terrified look in the driver’s eyes, raised an eyebrow, "Forgot the rest, I’ll memorize it again later."

Luo Qianqian didn’t interject, there were parts of what Qin Nuan said that she agreed with, like seeking out the truth. There were also parts she didn’t agree with, such as whether Qin Nuan would be implicated if it was aimed at her.

Cao Yingying was internally collapsing, at the moment she didn’t want to return to the school at all.

Qiu Yu watched as the two left and saw Cao Yingying’s obvious worry, his eyes grew darker. "Want to come in and sit? Tell me what happened? Only then can I help you." His uniform was the existence that Cao Yingying trusted the most right now; she hurriedly nodded her head.

Luo Qianqian appeared on time in the classroom, back in her usual seat, eliciting surprise from Elvis. "You didn’t come early today, have you eaten?"

Listening to this greeting that carried a strong regional flavor from Elvis, Luo Qianqian laughed out loud. Then she got a glare from the teacher who was lecturing and quickly composed herself. After arranging her books, she slowly said, "A little something came up, I haven’t eaten, I’m trying to lose weight."

Elvis, like performing magic, pulled out a vacuum-sealed red bean paste bun from his bag.

Luo Qianqian looked at him with surprise.

Elvis glanced at Luo Qianqian’s arm and shook his head. "You’re not fat."

Because it was vacuum-sealed, Luo Qianqian had no concerns at all, and besides, she was indeed a bit hungry. She nodded, thanked him, then opened the packaging and started nibbling on it surreptitiously.

After finishing, she asked belatedly, "What about your breakfast?"

"I’ve eaten," Elvis said with a smile. "I saw you leave the school early in the morning, so I bought it on a whim. Didn’t imagine it would actually come in handy."

Luo Qianqian’s face showed a hint of panic as she was about to smile with bared teeth when she heard a deep voice booming, "Luo Qianqian, where was I just now?" Although the professor was old, his voice was still powerful and resonant, enough to make one’s ears ache.

Standing up with an innocent look, Luo Qianqian glanced at the blackboard briefly, picked up her book, and randomly cited the location.

Speechless, the teacher, out of impatience, asked her to sit down and warned, "No more talking." Qianqian was truly the first one to be so bold in the front row.

After sitting down and sticking out her tongue, she casually wrote a note and passed it to Elvis, who was less than thirty centimeters away from her, "How does the teacher know my name? Could it be my beauty dazzled him?"

Elvis raised an eyebrow and replied, "Maybe because you’re the only girl who chose this class?"

Before Qianqian could respond, she noticed the color of the note seemed odd, and while the handwriting was unfamiliar, it had one characteristic—it had no characteristics at all, appearing like a child’s writing, which matched Elvis’s foreign identity.

But somehow, Luo Qianqian felt as if she had just thought of something, yet the thought flashed by, and now she couldn’t grasp it.

Without any hesitation, she wrote back, "Have you done your physical exam?"

Passing the note to Elvis, she kept watching him. Elvis, with a pen in his right hand, calmly wrote on the paper, neither of them aware that the classroom had fallen silent.

When Elvis handed her the note, he caught a glimpse of the person standing in front of her and coughed lightly.

Accepting the note, she read the familiar handwriting, "Been there, this morning. How else could I have seen you?"

After she finished reading, the note was snatched away by a hand, "Luo Qianqian!"

"Ah, yes?" Luo Qianqian looked up at the teacher standing in front of her, sticking out her tongue; she hadn’t meant to, and besides, she hadn’t actually spoken out loud.

"Are you here to study, or are you here to look at handsome guys?"

Luo Qianqian was surprised, a professor in college cared about this?

"Reporting, I’m here to study, and while I’m at it, to check out handsome guys," Luo Qianqian said without a hint of embarrassment, after all, she was young.

Hmm, it was precisely because she was young that she drew the focused attention of the teacher, who spared no effort to forge the unyielding.

The classroom erupted into laughter as Luo Qianqian blinked innocently, "Reporting, I can’t waste everyone’s time. If I waste a minute per person, the entire class is gone. I know, I know. Please continue, teacher, I’ll be quiet." By reciting these commonly heard words from teachers, she only made the laughter grow louder.

The teacher gave her one look and turned back to continue the lesson.

Luo Qianqian obediently remained silent, afraid to stir the teacher’s irritation again.

After the class, Luo Qianqian grabbed her bag and ran, fearing she would be wrapped up in something else by a classmate, especially because Wang Zi and Sun Bin were not around. She was still a bit scared.

Having been entangled twice already, if it happened a third time she wasn’t sure if she would coincidentally end up beside Qin Nuan again.

Qin Nuan, holding some food, waited at the entrance of the teaching building, and on spotting Luo Qianqian, waved, "Over here."
