The next morning, Cui Meili arrived at the agreed time. To Lu Jiaxin’s surprise, Cui Meili was actually pregnant, and she appeared to be about three or four months along.

That same evening, Lu Jiaxin treated Su Heyuan and his brother to dinner. Considering that Su Heyuan had wide connections, including all sorts of people, she couldn’t help but ask, “In Hong Kong, if you join a gang and then decide to quit to find a legitimate job, would the gang agree?”
