RE: Perverted Sugar Daddy System
Chapter 333 - 333: Execution 2

Having Annie call off the roadblocks so Martha could drive out of the city sounded like a plan, but it was also an obvious signal to the state that she was to be suspected.

Having Annie do this and then killing her wasn't too bad a plan, but it left glaring questions to be asked and the last thing I wanted was questions.

What I rather had Annie do was bring up a plan to the police department.

On paper, by changing the initial roadblock set up in the area of the city, leaving certain roads open while blocking new ones—Martha was going to be led into a just-created children's playground close to the East side of the city and on its outskirts.

With trees covering the far end of the playground and its sides bordered by tall buildings, which were to be evacuated, Martha and her accomplice would be boxed into a spot that left them with not just one but two options.

According to Annie, trapped in such a manner and with civilians safe and out of sight, the two women would have the option to either surrender or see the trees on the other side as an escape route.

Annie said she expected the two women to pick the latter option, and she stated that while she would like for them to get out of the car on their own and leave the children behind, she anticipated that at least one kid would be taken along as a hostage—to be used as a bargaining chip.

Following my instructions, Annie boasted about having more plans in place after getting the two women on foot. But alas, just before her targets could reach their birdcage, they made a diversion.

While crime was common in the deep East Side, so were rats and let's not forget the undercover individuals in the area.

For the crimes they had committed, seeking to find escape or even refuge in the deep East Side of Los Angeles while just being a new fish to the water was asking to be handed over to the police.

If Martha or Nadia had a million dollars in hand, things might have been different, but they sure as hell didn't.

Saying how she wanted to give her targets the illusion of control, Annie had ordered the police to leave two diverging paths open, fully expecting the targets to take the wide road which looked to lead towards freedom.

Yet, they had taken a clearly rundown road.

With Annie having stepped into the airport and temporarily leaving the matter to the men at the scene to handle, they had been lost.

When the car sped and drove through the glass doors of a five-story building that had once served as the headquarters for an investment firm, driving into its lobby and out of sight, the police caught off guard, surrounded the building and got out their microphones, screaming out orders that would never be followed.

By the time the temporarily reinstated Chief of Police got wind of the situation and ordered the policemen to storm the building, all they found was an empty car.

Silently listening through the radio Annie had handed me, I received premium information on the movement of the police force and when I heard confirmation through the radio that the car was empty, I breathed out in relief and leaned into the backrest of my chair, my eyes closing.

For a few minutes, I was silent, the arrival of a priest and his entry into the church not fazing me.

Suddenly a sigh left my lips and I opened my eyes.

Ring!! Ring!!

"Sir, we are out of the tunnel."

"That's good."

"Martha killed a priest."

"It's okay.

Tell her there is a nun at the front and for her to knock her out."

"Alright."

Through Echo, I knew that Martha made noises in the church to bring the attention of the nun into the holy sanctuary and then she snapped the woman's neck.

Martha's actions didn't just speak of her brutality; more importantly, they revealed her thoughts towards my words—or should I say, orders.

Saying nothing of the matter, Nadia barely whispered of it. I directed the women on when to leave the church and what route to take.

My initial plan was for all three women to split up, but Martha refused this plan, not even letting Nadia move on her own.

I directed the women on exactly when to leave the church through its back, no one having their gaze on it at that particular time and then suddenly the call was ended.

It was apparent to me who was responsible for ending the call, and I didn't call back again—only observed the three women for as long as they were within my range, then drove away in my car when they went out of it.

With Annie raising the warning order while quickly making her way to the scene, it took the police only some minutes to find the blown-in manhole located in a basement underneath the building.

The manhole led to a tunnel which linked to the church I had been observing, and in that manhole, the police found three children one by one as they traversed the underground pathway, all of them alive and well.

By the time I got back to my house, the old one, this time not caring that my car might be stolen, a city-wide manhunt had been declared for two unknown females and a kidnapped child.

Just stepping into the one-room apartment, I felt my entire body be consumed by a one-of-a-kind weakness, and as I hit the bed, I quickly switched off my phone and then opened my arms to sleep.

At the moment, it was no concern to me that an unstable and unleashed Martha was on the loose or that Annie could backslide. I let myself drift off into sleep.

It took about an hour for a non-living being wielding a shotgun and pistol to make its way to my apartment and disappear out of existence and another five hours before I stretched and woke up.
