Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster -
Chapter 347: Investing
Chapter 347: Investing
It only took around 15 seconds or so to arrive in Ogarak, the barbarian lands, and now Lilith and he were resting on top of a large mountain peak.
But the reason he hadn’t entered the villages yet was because of a pop-up that had appeared just a moment ago.
How are they already at 7 million? Rael mused. I’d really love it if they could fuck off for a moment so I could at least gather the kingdoms. Knowing Solenne though, she might descend before then.
Therefore, he opened the Premium Shop and soon found what he was looking for.
•—Premium Shop—•
Category: Quest/Main Event/New/Sun Cores
•—Balance: 21,691,248,088 Trell—•
• Sun Core (Common): 10,000 Trell
I could buy around two million of these at once… but it’s a bit wasteful.
But there was another way he could use his money, a way that, even if a bit wasteful, would yield a far greater return.
And that was by buying a few ores for his Custom Premium Dungeon, the Tax Evasion Cave.
Holy Crystals (Common) [Level 150] (x1): 75,000 Trell (Daily: 37,500 Trell)
Clearest Dirt Ore (Uncommon) [Level 250] (x1): 250,000 Trell (Daily: 150,000 Trell)
Low Purity Gold (Uncommon) [Level 315] (x1): 315,000 Trell (Daily: 189,000 Trell)
Rael hummed in satisfaction as he bought as many Holy Crystals as he could.
However, he was swiftly met with a hurdle he didn’t expect.
<Ding!>
<x5,000 Holy Crystals have been bought!>
<[Common] Rarity material limit reached!>
It seemed like the Common Rarity Ore limit was 5,000 ores in total.
With a faint frown, Rael decided to change his approach.
Instead of buying just any Uncommon rarity ore, he was going to look for the best one.
And after just a few minutes, he found something.
Pure Silver (Uncommon+) [Level 455] (x1): 455,000 Trell (Daily: 273,000 Trell)
<x3,795 Pure Silver have been bought!>
<[Uncommon] Rarity material limit reached!>
Ugh… A tear ran down Rael’s cheek at the sight of his money vanishing into thin air.
But even after buying thousands of ores, he had only spent 2,101,725,000 Trell.
Because of that, Rael took a deep breath and looked for more ores to buy, just of a different rarity.
.
.
.
Lilith yawned, tapping his shoulder and snapping him out of his daze.
“Is everything okay? You’ve been tapping the air nonstop for the last hour.”
Rael shook his head. “It’s nothing, I was just checking something out…”
—Common Ores – 187,500,000 Trell Daily
Holy Crystals (Common) [Level 150] (x5000)
—Uncommon Ores – 658,671,000 Trell Daily
Pure Silver (Uncommon+) [Level 455] (x3,795)
Low Quality Celestite (Uncommon) [Level 50] (x1195)
Low Quality Stardust Mithril (Uncommon) [Level 200] (x10)
—Rare Ores – 2,677,500,000 Trell Daily
Sea Urchin Shit (Rare) [Level 510] (x5000) [-]
—Epic Ores – 1,000,000 Trell Daily
High Quality Magic Alloy (Epic) [Level 500] (x1) [+]
5,926,725,000 Trell spent… Rael thought, nearly staggering straight onto the ground.
But knowing that he would get his money’s worth in just two days was reassuring.
Though Epic rarity and Legendary rarity ores are way too expensive. It’s just not worth it at the moment.
As much as he wished he had done this sooner, it was better than later.
Nevertheless, he shot Lilith a glance and nodded.
“I’m done, ready to go?”
“Well… we’re already here. It’s just like I told you, absolute barbarians,” Lilith said with a hint of disgust as she pointed below.
There were two villages on fire side by side, and it seemed like he got here in the middle of a fight.
Heads were flying, and blood was being spilled rapidly.
“It’s a bit sad,” Rael remarked. “I left Nyzzara with tools that could actually improve this land. Instead, she stuck to her old man’s traditions and didn’t change a thing.”
None of the soil revitalizers, fields, or cattle packs he had bought her were here.
That said, this wasn’t the village where Nyzzara lived.
Still… if she had conquered the other villages and united Ogarak, none of this would’ve happened.
“This is just simple human nature,” Lilith commented with a distant look. “They fight with the pretense of survival, when in reality, all of their little squabbles could be solved with a simple chat.”
“True… but then again, admitting that you’re wrong is the reason wars and conflicts start in the first place,” Rael added, a faint smile appearing on his face. “But I guess… conflict gives them a purpose aside from idly surviving. That’s why I need to put these people to work.”
Lilith whistled in amusement. “For someone who was a human just a few hours ago, you sure had a change of heart.”
Rael shrugged, took a step forward and began free-falling off the mountain.
Just as he was about to hit the ground, a pair of mosquito wings sprouted from his back. He made them slightly longer and thicker.
So when the barbarians spotted him, they stopped their fighting and glanced in his direction as looks of awe and reverence spread across their faces.
But before they could get any ideas of him being some merciful god, Rael spoke up.
“Alright, you shitbags, that’s enough fighting. Go pick up a water bucket and put out all the fires, then treat the injured.”
A moment of silence ensued, but it was soon broken by a single clap of his hands.
“If you don’t comply, then I’m going to personally make sure neither side is alive by the end of the minute. Do not test me.”
With those words, and their extremely unwilling looks, they got to work.
As for Rael, he glanced toward Lilith, who had jumped down beside him, and then, he sent a single message.
