Chapter 156: Chapter 156: Play as You Please, Cause Trouble at Will

Do soldiers chase after celebrities too?

In Lily Turner’s impression, soldiers are the kind of serious people who wouldn’t usually idolize entertainment stars.

Chasing celebrities seems like something school kids would do. Previously, the fans she encountered were all young men and women, and this is the first time she’s met a fan like a soldier.

Deep down, she felt a little happy about it, and without thinking much, she blurted out, "Of course they can."

Ever since she walked into the room, her face had been adorned with a bright, flower-like smile. Now that she encountered her own fan, her smile became even more radiant.

"We’ll get the autograph later." Easton Holmes raised his hand to stop the comrade who was about to approach Lily Turner for an autograph, and pulled her to the spot Jaxon Dyer had reserved for the two of them. He introduced her with an embrace, "This is my wife, Lily Turner!"

After introducing her, he turned his head to look at her, wearing a barely noticeable smile on his face.

Although Easton’s smile was very faint, his comrades present still saw it, and once they confirmed that he was indeed smiling, their eyes all showed expressions of shock.

Their commander had always been known for his serious and aloof image, but this was the first time they’d seen him this way.

The goddess’s charm is indeed strong!

"Hello, everyone!"

Just as everyone was staring in shock at their commander, Lily Turner waved and smiled to greet them.

Upon hearing her, the comrades present stood up in unison and shouted, "Hello, sister-in-law!"

The comrades’ loud voices truly startled the unprepared Lily Turner, causing her expression to freeze momentarily, but she quickly returned to normal.

"Everyone, please sit down. Tonight, let’s ignore positions and age; play and enjoy yourselves freely," Jaxon Dyer urged the standing comrades to sit down, giving them a few words in advance to make sure they’d relax.

Seeing the comrades all seated, Easton also led Lily Turner to sit down with them.

"Lily!"

"Mrs. Dyer!"

Bella Carter and Lily Turner spoke up simultaneously, but their terms of address were quite different, one being casual and friendly, the other a bit formal and distant.

"Don’t be so formal calling me Mrs. Dyer. Just call me sister-in-law like Easton does," Bella promptly corrected Lily’s form of address. After correcting her, she leaned forward to look at Easton sitting on Lily’s other side, "Easton! Congratulations!"

"Thank you, sister-in-law!" Easton expressed his gratitude and added, "Sister-in-law! You can visit my wife at home anytime to chat. She just arrived here and doesn’t know anyone."

"Of course, that’s no problem. I’m not getting around so easily these days, so we can keep each other company," Bella, being a hospitable and easygoing person, easily connected with anyone in conversation.

Lily Turner outwardly seemed like someone who naturally got along with others, but those who knew her well knew that she wasn’t naturally sociable at all.

Never mind facing strangers, even when facing someone like Bella whom she’s already met, she doesn’t immediately become chatty and enthusiastic.

However, she isn’t shy around strangers either; she simply doesn’t know how to better communicate with them.

After exchanging pleasantries, Jaxon Dyer stood up from his seat and said loudly, "Does anyone want to know how our commander and Goddess Lily met?"

"Yes!"

As soon as Jaxon finished speaking, half of the group promptly responded.
