Chapter 598: Chapter 202: Still Relying on My Teeth_1
Huang Feihu nodded slightly and said, "Thank you, Daoist friend."
Zhongshan Daoist, upon receiving such a thank-you, didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, his expression exceedingly complex. He probably never expected that the Overlord of Mount Tai would thank him in his lifetime... In normal times, he could have boasted about this for a good eight or nine hundred years. But now, who knows if there will be a tomorrow, or if this boast could ever be made; that remained to be seen.
Huang Feihu looked at the bronze dragon, which couldn’t speak or move an inch because it had the Dragon Supressing Pearl in its mouth.
At that moment, Kui San thumped the bronze dragon on its big head and said bluntly, "Big head, didn’t I take that pearl out for you? Why aren’t you speaking up?"
Upon hearing this, Qin Shou’s hair stood on end, and he glared at Kui San! What kind of power did the bronze dragon have? An absolute Heavenly Immortal! Without the Dragon Supressing Pearl, it could turn against them at any moment. If they were caught off guard, they could be wiped out instantly!
Fortunately, it appeared that the dragon had been playing dumb all along. However, this was somewhat out of the ordinary. As the saying goes, "Where there’s something strange, there’s a demon involved!" This matter was likely far from simple.
The bronze dragon shivered when it heard this, laughed awkwardly, and saluted Huang Feihu, saying, "The young dragon has not come of age, and has never been in battle. I’m afraid of spoiling the Overlord’s plans."
Upon hearing this, Qin Shou also had a look of incredulity; this damn dragon could indeed move!
Qin Shou couldn’t help but stealthily ask Kui San, "When did you take it out for him?"
Kui San thought for a moment and said, "Back in Buddha Mountain, one night I went out, and I don’t know what he did, but I saw him with his butt up in the air, looking for something on the ground. After a while, he found the Dragon Supressing Pearl and, with a sneaky look, checked his surroundings before putting the pearl back in his mouth.
When I saw that, I knew something was up. So I called out, and I might have startled him, because he accidentally stuffed the pearl down his throat and choked... I spent quite a while helping him to cough it up. He said that having the Dragon Supressing Pearl in his mouth could suppress the dragon, but if it went into his stomach, it would be deadly poison, and he would really die."
Qin Shou rolled his eyes and said, "Have you forgotten the scene of him chasing and trying to kill us? You’re a classic case of once the wound heals, the pain is forgotten. If he ends up eating you later, I won’t save you!"
Kui San scratched his head and gave a simple smile, saying, "Big head is not that kind of person, he said he’s gotten so many benefits from hanging out with us, he might as well just keep following us."
Qin Shou didn’t believe a word of it; this kind of nonsense was probably only enough to fool Kui San.
Just then, the bronze dragon suddenly turned its head and said, "Rabbit, when I attacked you earlier, it was due to a commission. But after I followed you to the Netherworld, through the Nether River, and up Buddha Mountain, I realized that though I don’t know what kind of creature you are, I do know that I cannot afford to offend you. So, if possible, can we call it even over our past issues?"
Qin Shou looked at the Black Nezha outside and the six Fire Dragons coiled around Tai Mountain, as well as the other three Fire Dragons rapidly approaching from afar, and sighed, "What use is there in clearing accounts? Aren’t we all going to die just the same?"
At that moment, Huang Feihu said, "Rabbit, if you are willing to help me, I guarantee you won’t die."
Upon hearing this, Qin Shou’s eyes lit up and he asked, "Really?"
Huang Feihu nodded.
Qin Shou said, "Then you better hurry up and tell me, everyone is quite anxious."
Huang Feihu had discovered that this rabbit really had no sense of shame whatsoever. However, Huang Feihu also understood that since the rabbit was willing to come and save Nezha, his character couldn’t be all that bad; there was still hope for redemption.
So Huang Feihu explained, "Rabbit, it’s quite simple. I’ll hold off Nezha for a while and get you to the edge of the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover. Then it’s up to you to find a way out. Once outside, you must seek out Master Zhenyuanzi to come to our aid. This is my token; when he sees it, he’ll understand everything."
As he spoke, Huang Feihu tossed a token to Qin Shou, who caught it and saw that one side bore the image of Tai Mountain, and the other depicted a military officer riding a five-colored divine ox, most likely Huang Feihu himself.
Qin Shou carefully pocketed the token and then snapped back to reality, quickly asking, "Overlord, what did you just say? You said you’ll take us to the edge of the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover, but is it inside or outside?"
Huang Feihu matter-of-factly replied, "Obviously inside. If I could get out, why would I still be talking to you?"
Qin Shou rolled his eyes and shot back, "If I could get out, why would I come looking to you?"
Huang Feihu didn’t bother with subtleties and said, "Either way, you figure it out yourself, I’m sending you off now."
Qin Shou quickly called out, "Wait a second!"
Huang Feihu asked, "What else is there?"
Qin Shou said, "Once I’m out, I can find a way on my own. Thing is, I want to discuss something with you."
Huang Feihu said, "Speak."
Qin Shou said, "I really know a recipe for a delicious beef stew..."
"Scram!" As soon as Huang Feihu heard this, his eyes bulged, and with a wave of his hand, a streak of azure light fell!
The next moment, Qin Shou felt the world spinning around him, and at the same time, a roar rang out from afar: "You think you can still play tricks?!"
Soon after, Huang Feihu bellowed, "Your opponent is me!"
Then came a series of violent noises!
By the time Qin Shou steadied himself, he realized he was standing right beside a fiery red wall of light!
Li Zhenying said, "Bunny, what do we do now?"
Qin Shou cursed, "Huang Feihu, you dammit, why don’t you just go all the way with your charity? Did you really have to bring us right to the edge of the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover? You piece of trash!"
At that moment, Huang Feihu’s voice came through: "Sorry, I’m limited in what I can do; I can’t break through the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover, so it’s up to you guys now."
Qin Shou, Li Zhenying, Zhongshan Daoist, the Bronze Dragon, and Kui San collectively fell silent. Qin Shou unreservedly turned around and flicked a middle finger in the direction of Tai Mountain, almost bursting out with a curse.
Then Qin Shou saw a Fire Dragon flying out from Tai Mountain, heading straight for them!
"Bunny, the Fire Dragon is coming!" Li Zhenying shouted in alarm, urgently calling out.
Kui San said, "Rabbit, let’s run."
Zhongshan Daoist said with a sobbing tone, "There’s only so much room inside the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover, if we’re really targeted, where can we run to?"
The Bronze Dragon said, "Then let’s fight it out..."
"Have you all finished talking? If so, let’s hurry up and go." Just then, Qin Shou’s voice rang out.
The four were stunned, turned their heads, and saw the Rabbit already standing outside the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover!
"Bunny... how?" Li Zhenying’s face was filled with disbelief as she stared at the uneven big hole on the Nine Dragons Divine Fire Cover, which was closing up rapidly before their eyes as if it were a temporary passageway.
Kui San, without overthinking, ducked down and scrambled through, then chuckled, "We can really get out, hehe..."
Li Zhenying quickly followed suit and crawled out.
